Hollywood actress Diane Kruger, French star Sandrine Bonnaire, and Chinese actress Shu Qi will join the jury at the Berlin Film Festival next month, on a panel led by Greek-French director Costa-Gavras, organizers said Tuesday.
The jury, which will award the festival's Golden and Silver Bear top prizes, will also include Russian media executive Alexander Rodniansky and Oscar-winning cutter and sound designer Walter Murch.
Rounding out the list are Danish director Susanne Bier ("Things We Lost in the Fire") and German production designer Uli Hanisch, Berlinale director Dieter Kosslick told a news conference ahead of the February 7-17 event.

Jackie Chan" Clothing Brand Launched
Action film superstar Jackie Chan has launched a clothing brand, hoping to publicize Chinese clothing in the way he has done for Chinese kung-fu.
Chan on Wednesday inaugurated a "Jackie Chan" leisure wear shop in a trendy shopping mall in Kunming, capital city of southwestern China's Yunnan province.
He said at the ceremony that by launching a specific label for clothes of Chinese style, he wanted them to become well-known worldwide.

legal action. Our company advises the media to protect the victimize artistes and do not publish said photos. Also, do not help advocate harmful practices to disrupt the public.”
EEG director of artistes’ management, Mani (霍汶希) accepted an interview and expressed that she would not comment on this issue because it has been handed over to the police and lawyer.
Mani stressed that the company does not want to debate about this issue anymore because the event can only be cooled down with low-key treatments. She expressed that people who uploaded, transfer, and download the photos need to understand if their actions are legal or illegal.

Mani stressed that the company does not want to debate about this issue anymore because the event can only be cooled down with low-key treatments. She expressed that people who uploaded, transfer, and download the photos need to understand if their actions are legal or illegal.

HONG Kong heartthrob Kevin Cheng Ka Wing will have to relive his fears as he takes on his next role in TVB drama Lit Fo Hung Sum (Burning Flame III).
The dashing 37-year-old actor with pan-Asian looks will reprise his role as a fireman although he is not certain whether he will be playing the same character.
“When I joined TVB eight years ago, my first drama was Burning Flame II,” Cheng said, recounting the most unforgettable scene from his TVB debut.
“I did not have much acting experience and I didn’t know what it was like to be a fireman.
“Everybody was wearing fireproof suits, completely covered from head to toe, and very carefully examining whether any skin was exposed.
“I was wondering why everyone was so concerned and so serious. The director gave instructions for everyone to fall down when he signalled.
“Then, the flames came and the director yelled, ‘Fall down now!’ I was rooted and had no clue that the flames would be coming at us like that.”
Cheng described animatedly how the fire hit them and wrapped around them. “So, this was what a gas explosion was like. They filled the room with gas and they set fire to it. Because the air pressure was so high, we were practically lifted off our feet. Now, that was the most dangerous thing I did.”
Would he ever attempt that dangerous stunt again? “Well, I have to do it again in the sequel, but I am definitely more prepared.”
Cheng is one of TVB’s hottest actors of the season as Cantonese drama viewers will attest. Last year, he appeared in Keung Gim (Devil’s Disciples), Se Yi Yan Sang (Life Art), Tung Tin Gon Taam (The Ultimate Crime Fighter) and Jui Mei Lai Dik Dai Chat Tin (The Seventh Day).
This year, fans will also see him in Yu Dik Tong Hang (Last One Standing, with co-stars Kwok Chun On and Yoyo Mung) and Fat Jing Sin Fung II (Forensic Heroes II).
Cheng was in Kuala Lumpur for the launch of Bonia at Pavilion KL while taking a break from the filming of Forensic Heroes II.
“Have you seen CSI? It’s somewhat similar. We’d search for clues and do analysis on hair or blood.
“I play Ivan, a bomb specialist living in England. After his girlfriend is killed in an explosion, he returns to Hong Kong and joins the Forensics Department.”
His co-stars in Forensic Heroes II include most of the original cast Bobby Au-Yeung Chan Wah, Yoyo Mung Ka Wai and Frankie Lam Man Lung. Charmaine Sheh Sze Man makes a pretty addition to the formidable team.
“The biggest challenge is memorising our lines. It was all very technical and there were things we do not understand. However, we still have to deliver convincingly,” elaborates Cheng.
Cheng says if he does get a break in between filming the serials, he would like to go on vacation. “I’d like to learn diving. I’ll come again to Malaysia. I like the har meen (shrimp noodles) here. And, the mor kwai yu (grilled stingray) tastes really good, much better than those in Singapore.
“Most importantly, I’d like to visit my friends here, who are mostly not in the entertainment business.”

Raymond Lam's Faces His Toy Collections Day and Night
Everyone knows that Raymond Lam is a childish boy, even in his twenties he still loves cartoons and toys. Talking about these two topics he was so eager to tell his stories. Even his bedroom has become a toy shop. But Raymond admits that he was very picky with his toys.

People often say that Andy Lau is as hardworking as a bull. That may very well be true considering his continuous non-stop involvement in films like Brothers and The Warlords. However, Andy's super efforts are not only limited to the film arena, as he proved once again last year during his extensive concert tour from September to December. Andy Lau Wonderful World Concert Tour Hong Kong 2007 records his performances at the Hong Kong Coliseum before the close of 2007. The tour was an overwhelming success even before it started, with tickets sold out in the blink of an eye, and this live recording is one of the most highly anticipated Chinese music releases of 2008.
Andy Lau Wonderful World Concert Tour Hong Kong 2007 comes with two CDs, plus a DVD. On the CD side, fans can look forward to 33 tracks including "17" (CD 2 Track - 13) and If One Day? Angela Tong Goes To Malaysia Bosco Wong and Roger Kwok Protects Her

Early morning, Angela Tong, Bosco Wong, Raymond Lam, Charmaine Sheh, Roger Kwok, Sonija Kwok and Gigi Lai were setting off to Malaysia for the local TV station’s award ceremony.
Angela said that Bosco and Roger would be her two strong bodyguards for this trip. She feels very happy and believes that the security at the event would take care of her. Angela said that she received a lot of calls from her friends. She said: “A lot of artistes from the artiste’s union called me. Even Alan Tam called me. He informed me about my rights and how to protect myself. After what has happened, I learned that I shouldn’t react by just standing there.” There were reports that she hooked up with a Taiwanese game show host. Angela said: “The story was made up by a magazine. (Would you change your Western personality?) No, that’s the kind of person I am!”
Bosco said that the Malaysian fans have a more passionate attitude towards Hong Kong artistes. Would you being helping Angela if she is attacked? He said: “Under safe conditions, I would be pursing the attacker. Then I would use my body to pin him down because I am driven by my sense of justice. I am like that.” Roger joked that he would ask the attacker to change targets and he’ll be the new target. He said: “Just like how other people take a drink for someone else. I would take her slap.”
Roger said that his wife’s due date was in April. It was confirmed that the baby was a boy. He had a big smile when he said: “I remember returning home after filming and I wanted to do some prenatal education and talk to the baby. But Cindy said that the baby won’t hear me because I was talking to the baby’s feet. She laughed at me because I didn’t know the location of the baby’s feet or head.” Roger also said that they started to prepare for the baby. The reporter joked that they didn’t need three months to prepare for the hospital stay. Roger embarrassingly said: “I reserved a bag for the hospital stay but I didn’t put the items into the bag yet.”

Forgetful Raymond Lam Didn’t Bring Passport For Plane Ride
Yesterday, Raymond Lam was part of a large team of artistes that were going to Malaysia for the local TV station’s award ceremony. But the forgetful Raymond didn’t bring his passport. In the end, he needed to board the next flight. Raymond realized that he forgot his passport at the check-in counter. He immediately called home for someone to help him. He made at least ten calls before someone answered. With the help of others, he was able to obtain his passport at the instant before the check-in counter closes. But it turns out it was a previously lost passport which was voided. The new passport was still at home. In the end, Raymond needed to go home personally to retrieve his passport. He was scheduled for the next flight instead. Raymond said: “I have always been forgetful. The people behind me would surely benefit (since he losses his belongings). Candy mom isn’t here this time. This happened because she didn’t give me reminders.” Would you try to change your bad habit? He said: “I can’t change forgetfulness. I need to employ an assistant. Right now, I am afraid that I won’t make it to the autograph signing with Kevin Cheng.”
Miriam Attended COACH Opening Pre-Party,

Eason, Miriam & Kelly to Represent HK & Macau as Olympic Torchbearers

On January 26, 2008, Samsung held a press conference where they revealed the list of torchbearers for the Hong Kong and Macau leg of the traditional torch relay for the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games. Three groups of representatives, a total of 7 individuals, consist of 3 artists, 2 athletes and 2 citizens were chosen to represent Hong Kong and Macau as torchbearers in the torch relay.
The 3 groups of representatives represent 3 different fields of work. The 2 citizen representatives (阮維新 and 林冠成), who were chosen by citizens of Hong Kong and Macau, had to show their spirit of perseverance and their abilities to overcome obstacles, difficulties and challenges.
The 3 celebrities, Eason Chan frequently participates in charitable events, Kelly Chen is a current World Outstanding Young Persons and Miriam Yeung is a current Hong Kong Outstanding Young Persons.
The 2 athletes, 梁洪敏 represents Macau and 葉少康, who represents Hong Kong, is the first Asian athlete to qualify for the Equestrian event at the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games. 葉少康 was born with brain convulsions and relied on walking with crutches, but with a strong will and with hard work and effort he has become a distinguished Equestrian.
On May 2nd and 3rd, these 7 representatives will carry the torch and represent Hong Kong and Macau in the torch relay tradition. Eason, Miriam and Kelly have all expressed they will work out before the torch bearing event to be in top condition and avoid embarrassing Hong Kong and Macau.
Eason says that the last time the torch passed by Hong Kong was 44 years ago during the 1964 Tokyo Olympic Games, since this year's Olympic Games will be held in Beijing, Chinese people are able to participate and it is very meaningful. Although Eason cannot bring his daughter along with him during the upcoming experience, he will explain the tradition of torch relay to his daughter. Eason jokes that each of the representatives will need to carry the torch for 200 meters and representing Hong Kong he will jog slowly hoping there will be more pictures of him taken. He says, "Our outfits will be organized by the committee, but if it were up to me I would like a sleeveless top and short-shorts, so I can look like a professional track and field athlete." When asked if his family will be there to watch him, he responds that it's too bad that they can run with him, but they will be there to support him. He says he wants to watch the Diving event and has asked others to help him get tickets.
Miriam will be representing the Macau leg of the torch bearing and says she is finally going outside of Hong Kong and will be passing the torch to the Beijing representative, she is extremely proud to be representing the Chinese people. Although the event will be held in May, Miriam is training and Thai Boxing every day to increase her heart and lungs function for a competition next month. Miriam really wants to go to Beijing to attend the Olympic Games, but she knows that all hotels have been booked. She then thinks up of an idea and laughs, "Mr. Lai (Leon) is from Beijing, he should own property in Beijing. Myself and some company members should make up a crowd of about 20-30 people, maybe we could borrow his property and we could all go together. I'll promise I won't break his house."
Kelly Chen will run to get back into condition. Since she will be holding concerts at Hong Kong Coliseum in June, the running will help her out. Kelly is proud and nervous about being a torchbearer. She points out that all Chinese people will be watching her and she does not want to embarrass them and will ask all family, friends and people that know her to come support her. She says, "I will not spray hairspray into my hair and I will make sure that my hair is tied up to avoid any possibility of my hair setting on fire."

Joyce Tang and Derek Kwok Embarrassed Liza Wang Plays Up Rumours at WOIL 2 Celebration Dinner
The series finale of WOIL 2 is approaching and TVB is pushing for a high rating on the last couple of episodes with their promotions. Last night, Liza Wang, Bosco Wong, Myolie Wu, Joyce Tang and Derek Kwok attended the “Barbaric Family Reunion” function. TVB “decreed” that the cast member was to watch the episode with the viewers.
Last night, Liza used her “barbaric” character’s trait to the fullest extent. Her target wasn’t the usual suspects, Bosco and Myolie. It was the tabloid boyfriend and girlfriend, Derek and Joyce. Joyce’s accessories and clothing was draped around Derek’s neck. They became red-faced with embarrassment at the scene. Liza saw what was happening and continued with the horseplay. She said: “Something seems peculiar, is it because you guys are hiding something?! Ha-ha!” The other artistes ganged up on them and joked: “You can’t hide it.” Joyce surrendered and said: “I admit defeat!” It was a very funny scene.
Joyce’s ex-boyfriend, Marco Ngai, announced his marriage recently. At the function, her mood was unaffected by the news. As to her blushing with embarrassment at the scene, she said: “I am thick-skinned so I am not afraid of being the target for jokes. I won’t blush. If I do blush, it means I am faking it.” Reporter: “You were photographed buying furniture.” Joyce: “If I was really dating, I would be holding hands because it is in my personality.” Derek emphasized that the two were only good friends and that he doesn’t mind being involved in the jokes.
TVB held a 15 table celebration with HK$130000 worth of abalone and shark fin dinner. The audience enjoyed abalone while watching TV. Each audience member received expensive gifts which included HD receiver, HD TV or HK$10000 gift certificate. It was clear that TVB was trying to buy ratings. Myolie has a lot of expectations for the series finale’s ratings. She said that even though the stock market fell and people would be slightly affected by it; she hopes that they would enjoy the series. Bosco was not as worried about the stock market’s effect as Myolie. He said: “I am not Adam Cheng so I won’t be affected by it!”

The opening ceremony guest wore black and white sponsored clothing at the “John Richmond Rock’n Style” clothing shop’s opening ceremony. The guest included Raymond Lam, Kenny Kwan, Mandy Chiang, Louis Cheung, Rosemary, and HotCha. Raymond did a fashion show recently. At the show, he said that he has a lot of leg hair so he doesn’t wear shorts. But last night, he wore knee length pants to the function. He explained that he was wearing short pants because he wanted to gain more sponsors. He wants someone to sponsor his leg hair removal. Raymond also pointed out that he is a sweaty person and it would be great if someone sponsored his underwear. Would you model underwear in commercials? Raymond expressed that he won’t because it would be too embarrassing for him. He would at most, show the fringe of the underwear. Are you afraid of revealing too much about your private parts? He believes that everyone would be bothered with revealing that much. So he chooses to not reveal that much. He would only consider accepting it if the fees are high enough. But he doesn’t have the courage to do it now. The reporter pointed out that he is young and yet he is conservative. Raymond joked: “What should I be open about?” He said that being young doesn’t mean you can be open about everything. He is a conservative person. If he reveals too much too soon then people won’t have any expectations. He jokes that he left it as a secret weapon.

…a hospital in Hangzhou has used images of Raymond without his consent to be the spokesperson for the urological department. He admitted that he was stunned when he found out about it. He says he wasn’t okay with what the hospital did since he doesn’t have any kidney diseases. His fans sent complaint letters to the hospital and TVB. Out of the many other Hong Kong celebrities, he was chosen to be the spokesperson. Raymond felt helpless and joked that he should thank the hospital for choosing him from the other stars. There are other celebrities’ images that were used in Japanese illicit businesses (sexual/pornographic). Raymond teased that he could go into the Japanese market soon. He pointed out that many people might not know that by doing this they could affect the artiste a lot. He hopes that these events won’t happen again.

Recently there are reports that Hins Cheung and Kenny Kwan has a “Brokeback” relationship. Now, there are rumours that Hins has a new “Brokeback” partner, Vincent Wong. Peng Brother is set to re-shoot the 1997 movie “Stormrider”, main lead still remain the same, Aaron Kwok and Ekin. The movie is set to start filming in March in Thailand. There’s plan to submit this film for the Cannes film award in May. Estimate that the film will be release in Oct 2009.
In an earlier interview with Peng Fa, he mentioned that his future movies will have less thriller part and even mentioned that “Stormrider” have nothing to do with thriller but will use the computer technology techniques in “300”, all shooting will be done indoor and at later stage background will be added.
In 1997, Peng Fa was the film editor for “Stormrider. 10 years later, Peng Fa became the director for “Stormrider” and even the lead cast remains the same. This movie received a $10 million budget, by far it’s the most amount, closer to the Hollywood movie” The messenger”.
As for the other cast, at first there’s intention to look for the female lead in Korea, but the movie company took a liking for Ah Sa from Twins and both parties have agreed and will be signing the agreement soon.
Nicholas Tse will also have a part in this movie, this time round, he will be playing the Japanese villain "Jue Xin" (Juet Sum) which he have been thinking of changing his movie path as this role have more room to express.

I just though the story of this wind and cloud sequel definitely focused on Japanese Invasion of China (Story in Wind And Cloud 2)
The Time After the assisted suicide of Hung Ba (Played by Sonny Chiba in earlier flick) under Cloud's sword,
then the most powerful warrior of all of Japan Juet Mo Sun and His Son -> Juet Sum (who will be played by Nicholas Tse) appeared in the second arc of the storyline and brought up a plan to invade China
Wind (Ekin Cheng) would reunite again with Cloud (Aaron Kwok) to deal with the chaos as brought by the fight between Japanese's army and the Imperial army.
