He only mentioned getting married when he said others getting married”. With regards to marriage, Michelle expressed, “It depends on the mood. Maybe at the spur of the moment”.

Vivien Yeo waits to receive a large diamond stone

In the series, Vivian Yeo plays a social butterfly. Although Aloys Chen has a crush on her, she will like the rich Oscar Leung. Earlier, it was reported that Vivien is money hungry. When asked if her role in the series depicts how she is in reality? She said that it doesn’t. It was rumored many wealthy men are pursuing her and someone even gave her a pair of earrings as a birthday gift. She said, “It someone gave me a large diamond stone, I would accept it. Afterward, I would decide if it is possible for us to be together. If I know that by giving me a present, he expects me to give something to him in return, then I would not accept it. Feelings can not be expressed by money. I hope to rely on myself to make money”.

Susanna Kwan will give her first to this series: “I believe a lot of people will look forward to my first time acting in ancient series. After the make up, I personally feel it gives off a fresh feeling. Moreover, this time some of the artistes are from Heart of Greed group. We already have the connections between us. Ha YU mentioned about his disappointment last year. He locked himself at home for 2 days after the ceremony. He felt he might have a chance since he is still working for TVB. He hoped this is his beginning but not the end. He suddenly spoke in Mandarin, (Sa aunty's golden phrase) You say I can make it, I will make it. You say I won't make it, than I won't make it. I thank everyone who tells me I can make it. Ha Ha Ha." Ha Yu was wondering how come Raymond has so much gossip around him. He said Raymond is a very good guy. He even asked the doctors and nurses to upport her. Asked if she would announce her wedding is going to get married now that she got her award, Michelle smiled saying Wan Lo had proposed to her several times, but they haven't got any plan to get married yet. When she told the audience Kam Jei should be taking the award, she had earned a lot of cheers too. Louse Lee got the "Most Favourte Actress Award". She disclosed that she told TVB that she wanted to pull out of the race because she was under a lot of stress. But TVB had refused her request and let her continue to be in the race.

Somebody is happy and somebody is sad. Raymond was not looking too happy when he took the TVB.com Award and even when he got his second award :the "Most Favourite Actor Award", he wasn't exactly over the moon. He expressed that he was not too disappointed. He had two awards already and he will work even harder.

Other nominees include Nancy Sit in "The Silver Chamber of Sorrows", Sheren Teng in "Your Class or Mine", Linda Chung in "A Journey Called Life", Sonija Kwok in "D.I.E.", Kate Tsui in "Speech of Silence".

Ha Yu Is The Choice for TV King

Louise Lee was asked who she thought was her strongest competitor. In order to avoid gossip, she said : I don't know how to tell.. But as for the best actor, she said that Ha Yu is her choice.

Louise said: Ha Yu acted his role out really well. As for Moses Chan, he put in a lot of effort for his role in "Moonlight Resonance". When I first looked at the script, his role didn't seem very unique. He also asked me for advice on how he should act out his role. In the end, he was able to act out his character very well, and brought life to it. Raymond Lam's role is also good, as well as the other male leads, so competition is very tight!

Michelle: Yin Guy is going to be fine

Michelle Yim's partner Wan Chi-keung (Yin guy)was admitted to hospital the other day. There were rumors that his cancer had deteriorated. He had emergency treatment for three days and he is now in a stable condition. As he is still very weak and unable to eat, he has an intravenous drip and he is being fed through a tube.

Michelle Yim has just returned to Hong Kong from Beijing. She denied Yin Guy's cancer has reoccurred. "It was only the side effects. He had a minor operation and he is resting at the moment. He is going to be fine." Michelle reckoned Yin Guy would be out of hospital soon.

Michelle Yim says the reports are too Exaggerated

Wednesday October 15, 2008 Hong Kong
Credits: to Matchbox @ http://www.mediachamber.net/

The TVB series (Moonlight Resonance) broke rating records and the cast had been celebrating non stop recently. Yesterday evening it was TVB executive Stephen Chan's turn to treat the cast for a feast in Tsim Sha Tsui and spent a 6 digit figure, treating over 80 members of the cast and behind the scenes staff. The cast Ha Yu, Raymond Lam, Moses Chan, Susanna Kwan, Louise Lee and Lee Heung Kam, plus Tavia Yeung were all present.

When Michelle Yim arrived at the scene she was pursued by reporters asking about her boyfriend Wan Chi Keung's condition. Michelle had just returned from Beijing and said she will not answer any questions relating to his health condition. She said the reports are too exaggerated because from the beginning to the end he was not diagnosed having cancer, it’s just after effects. She indicated that relatives and friends have been disturbed by the reports and she hopes the press will not continue to write those reports again. She said Wan Chi Keung only had a minor operation and it was normal to feel weak after the operation. She hopes everyone will give him space and thanked everyone’s concern. Currently Wan Chi Keung’s condition is good. She said he will soon be discharged from the hospital and it was not how the reports clarified as in having emergency treatment which was exaggerated. When she read the report she was shocked. She admits that he cannot eat just yet as the operation had just been done. But she only revealed it was a minor operation for after effects.

Ha Yu returned from Canada yesterday evening and arrived at the scene with his luggage. As for the TV King award he said he had confidence in himself but wasn't sure if he would receive it. The reporter asked if Raymond Lam was his biggest competitor? He said each one of them were good actors, and very powerful. As for TVB wanting to sign a Management contract with him, he said he will need to discuss it further. The reporter then said he would have a better chance if he was TVB's son (one of their contracted artistes). He replied "Only you say that, how can that be, can't believe that. It's not like exchanging gifts, everyone is just speculating. Perhaps TVB will specifically make it happen so that people will know it's a fair competition”.

Recently Louise Lee had been reported making an complaint about Raymond Lam due to him being frequently late while filming. Yesterday they co-operated in taking a picture together. Raymond said "When filming I had discussed this, Louise has also made it clear. Our relationship is very good". Louise Lee also indicated that she communicated with him over the phone. She said to use the phrase (Back-stab) was nonsense. She said "Unless I said it wrong otherwise the reason is that the reporters have nothing to write about and want to stir things up". She also felt Raymond would receive the TV King award and praised his role for being well behaved.

Charmaine Sheh hopes to play the role (Third Sister Liu)

Wednesday October 15, 2008 Hong Kong

Charmaine Sheh, Susanna Kwan, Michelle Yim, Fala Chen and Moses Chan etc were filming for the TVB sales Presentation for new Ancient series "Third Sister Liu". Despite it was the Autumn season the weather was still hot and sunny. When Charmaine Sheh didn't need to film scenes she immediately used a umbrella to block the sun. It was also reported that Charmaine Sheh's rumoured boyfriend Kevin Cheng will also participate in the series. But Kevin did not appear yesterday, sources revealed he only filmed in the studio today.

The TVB Sales Presentations is mainly filmed for Advertising companies so that they can book advertising slots. But in the end many of the presentation series filmed might not be made. However, Charmaine Sheh, Tavia Yeung, Michelle Yim and Susanna Kwan all hope that this series will be successfully filmed in the future. Especially Susanna as she has never filmed an ancient series before. She felt it was very fresh and the ancient costume was very beautiful. In addition many of the cast were from (Moonlight Resonance). If the series is officially filmed it will take place at the end of next year. Michelle Yim will once again play the villain.

(Third Sister Liu) is mainly based on a topic about women. The storyline talks about fighting for powers in the palace. Moses Chan plays the role of the Emperor, Charmaine Sheh as Third Sister Liu and will start off as a palace servant and become the Chief of the Royal kitchen. Charmaine indicated she hopes the series will be successfully filmed. The best thing would be to use the same cast as yesterday because she wans to work with Michelle Yim and Susanna Kwan. She believes it will be fresh and create new sparks. The reporter asked if Kevin Cheng will partcipate in the filming? She laughed and said she thinks so, but yesterday he wasn’t included in the filming. She also said she didn’t mind working with Kevin because she doesn’t care and cannot control it. They are both in the same company and they will work together sooner or later. The reporter suggested she could request not to work with Kevin. She laughed and said personally she didn’t have such power. The reporter asked if she was arranged to officially work with him in this series how would she feel? She replied saying she would listen to whatever arrangements the company has made for her.

Bosco Wong shouts: "Don't Push Anymore

Last night "Moonlight Resonance" cast members had a dinner party. Cast members Lee Si Kei, Lee Heung Kam, Michelle Yim and TVB executive Virigina Lok came in with Bosco Wong. When Bosco was leaving a big group of tourists surrounded him, there were little kids being pushed because they wanted to take a picture with Bosco, he angrily said: "Don't push! Going to push the kids to death!"

Yesterday the cast had their dinner party at Wan Jai, celebrating "Moonlight Resoances" big success. Recently reports say that Kevin Cheng has been fighting with Bosco in personally picking/dropping off Virigina Lok, Susanna Kwan, Moses Chan and Ha Yu did not attend. When Bosco and Lee Heung Kam left the scene at 11pm, many tourists surrounded them as they left. Bosco was quite happy where he accepted autographs and took pictures. Afterwards, there was this fan who pushed down a 2-3 year old little girl because they wanted to take a picture with Bosco, the scene was a bit chaotic. Bosco saw that the girl fall and could not help but shout out: "Don't Push! Don't push anymore! You're going to kill the girl!"

As for Lee Heung Kam and LSK had trouble walking, LSK helped Lee Heung Kam leave the group of surrounding tourist, it was difficult to get into the car. Lee See Kei was the driver for Lee Heung Kam and they drove off. Afterwards, reporters contacted Moses and asked about his absences. They said that many of "Moonlight" dinner parties he did not attend, he said: "I can't help it, each time I have to work, but if there are any more dinner parties in the future, he would definitely take some time off to go."

Tavia Yeung – Received Recognition on Her Acting Skill

Translation: Akazukin @ http://asianfanatics.net/forum

The drama series , which was going to have its last episode aired on Sunday, has increased ratings every week. Moreover, its casts were viewed as the hot contenders for this year TV King and TV Queen, such as Lee Sze Kei, Lee Heung Kam, Michelle Yim and Ha Yu from the veteran level, whose acting skills have early received recognition. Tavia Yeung from the fa-dan level also stood out in the drama and was pointed by the netizens as a hot contender for winning the TV Queen status.

The influence of has also brought Tavia Yeung a lot of opportunities of earning income from side jobs, such as advertisements and stage performances. As a result, she planned to change her car and apartment. She said: “I have more jobs now, enabling me to change my car and apartment. But I will not be hasty. I will only buy when I find a suitable car and apartment. I will take the chance to earn more money before ’s heat subsided. Fortunately, I will start filming a new series in November. Now I have more time to earn income from side jobs.”

As for being pointed as the hot contender for TV Queen, she said: “It’s really unexpected. I have not thought about it before. Actually, I’m already very happy to receive audiences’ approval. Whether or not I get an award is not important. Moreover, I think it’s not yet time for me to get an award.”

It Has to Do with Character

Tavia Yeung believed that receiving approvals for her acting skill is more important than receiving an award. She said: “Every artiste will put in hard work and will be discovered by people one day. I think the audiences know that I have always put in hard work but only lacking a role that has potential to show off. Ah Yuet’s character finally enables me to stand out and receiving approvals from the outside world. It can be seen that timing is important. Actually the character Ah Yuet makes my confidence goes up. Perhaps it can be said as an injection to strengthen the heart. Perhaps my personality is more down-to-earth. I feel that receiving audiences’ approvals on my acting skill is already enough. I will only see award as a bonus. I will face it with a calm heart.”

Each cast has prepared well when filming , reading and memorising the script well, because we all hope that will win over . Tavia Yeung said: “During the filming of , the communication between the casts is not a problem. Therefore, there was no pressure. In contrast, because filming needs to be quick for rushing the series for airing and the long lines in the script that makes it a bit hard to bear. However, our hard work is not wasted. I feel that every artiste is a main leading artiste. We can’t lose any of them. There is no unnecessary character in the series. It’s a team, everyone has his/her own value for being there.”

To Tavia, has brought her both increases in income and fame. Foreseeably, 2008 is a year full of income for her. However, she has also experienced a loss, that is her health. She said: “There is less resting, therefore I need to go see Chinese Doctor for treatment. But this is the incidental burden of an artiste, so I don’t mind.”

Moonlight Resonance is everywhere.
“Identity”, “Jade Solid Gold”, “Scoop” are all full of the Gam family. The promotion is followed by promotions. Even the Big Brother in the entertainment industry Eason Chan has become a backing vocal to Michelle Yim in singing the Karaoke song “Thinking of each other in the windy rain”. Have this been seen before?

Aired on 7 days during a week is also a rare arrangement.

The drama series which was very popular in the previous period is “Jewel in the Palace”. The ending achievement had been surprising. The last episode’s peak rating has broken the record and was over 50 points. This time, the same arrangement is probably to repeat history! However, Moonlight Resonance has achieved a small peak in every 2 episodes. Within 30 episodes, how they were quarreling, how they were hurting people, how the family was ruined, how the family was reunited, how each of the character cried, have been a routine in the audiences’ eyes. Therefore, it will be difficult for the last episode to have any new creativity. As predicted, the fact that Hung Yee became more evil, Goon Ga Jai became more persistent in love are as predicted, Ah Kar and Ah Ho fortunately won her, the energetic grandmother Lee Heung Kam passed away could still attract audiences. However, to break the 50 points peak would be really difficult. If it achieved above 45 points, “Moonlight Resonance” is already considered to have a successful ending.

The third sequel must be coming. It has ratings, has topic, has support, why would TVB cut short its own profiting chance? If it’s quick, it will be seen in next year’s anniversary. The same casts acting in ancient costumes, they will remain to be a big family, there will similarly be quarrels, audiences will definitely buy it.

However, to continue the power of Moonlight Resonance, it will definitely take majority of the awards in the anniversary. Media has already started to speculate who is going to be this year TV King and TV Queen?

Raymond Lam (The chance of becoming TV King: *****)
It has been definite since the beginning of this year?
Goon Ga Jai’s importance is greater than the other male characters. Moreover, “The Four” will be coming out. Raymond Lam’s popularity will continue. His chance of becoming TV King is already almost absolute.

However in Moonlight Resonance, his performance has only received satisfactory review. If we talk about surprise, it can’t be compared to Alfred in the first series. As the character is too perfect, the potential to show off becomes restricted. His triangle relationship with Linda Chung and Bosco Wong is also too long-winded, each episode their progress will go in circle, the persistency and loyalty in love is really making people feel tired and not feeling touched. However, when we talk about status, it is time for him to become TV King. At least he will be more deserving than the previous year’s Kevin Cheng, right?

Ha Yu (The chance of becoming TV King: ****)
If he won it, it will be a kind of recompensation.
Last year he didn’t get anything is too much. Old man would feel disappointed. Fortunately, it doesn’t affect his acting. Joe Bao’s character is more difficult to grasp than Bao Bao. Ha Yu had secured it steadily. He has given his full performance regardless whether it is laughing scene or crying scene. If we talk about capability, he has power to win! If his performance within two years are added up, he is even more deserving of the award.

Moses Chan (The chance of becoming TV King: ***)

Double-winning TV King to win continuous jackpot?

He maybe seen to be unpopular choice. However, TVB awards like to give earth-breaking surprises. Therefore, Moses’ chance can’t be overlooked, especially since Ah Kar has more “noise” than Dak Dak Dei, acting as a person of a rather different type yet still has to be fitting in with the whole family. The audiences like his special comedic feel. This breakthrough is deserving of award. Only that, will continuous TV King be an over-reward? If Moonlight Resonance is not wanted to be the only big winner, another unpopular choice is Roger Kwok from “D.I.E”. Don’t forget that he was able to clear Sonija Kwok’s record. Among TVB actors, who can do that?

Lee Sze Kei (The chance of becoming TV Queen: ****)
The audiences will definitely accept if the award is given to her. However, the opportunity to promote a person will be lost. Besides, there is a lack of surprise. It’s a rare chance that Lee Sze Kei opened her golden mouth and expressed that she doesn’t want to fight with the young generation. Does she hint that she has undergroundly quit the competition?

Tavia Yeung (The chance of becoming TV Queen: ****)
Really remarkable! Although her screentime is obviously not much, she still manages to stand out and becomes the netizens’ choice of the new TV Queen!
Regardless of being strong or crying, this “Get” Girl succeed to leave a deep impression on the audiences. Facing the veterans, meeting the strong and becoming stronger, her performance obviously won over the first series. If she was given the honour of TV Queen, and receive recognition, she will definitely become the focus among the TVB leading ladies. TVB likes to promote people, why not promote her?

Susanna Kwan (The chance of becoming TV Queen: ***)
She is my personal choice. Her acting is needless to say, her limelight concealed Hor Ma, scolding people like singing, and fighting alone. However, she is not very competitive, whether or not the award is given to her will not make any hot topic. Therefore, her chance is less.

Michelle Yim (The chance of becoming TV Queen: ***)
Can villain win the main award? I think the chance will not be big. After all her age is rather old. If TVB promotes her, why not fiercely promote Fala Chen to be the youngest TV Queen, becoming a household name by being mute, won’t it be a bigger topic?

Michelle Yim and Wan Chi Keung have been dating for 26 years. In 1992 Wan Chi Keung was diagnosed with Nasopharyngeal Cancer. Michelle has always been by his side. This year there were rumors claiming the state of his illness had got worse. Last week there were also reports saying that he had a nose bleed and was taken into hospital. Yesterday a magazine reported that Michelle plans to get married after finishing filming a Mainland series, to grant his wish. The reporter contacted Michelle's assistant on the phone to seek proof about the marriage rumors.

Michelle didn't get married all these years because she values her relationship. She felt that the marriage certificate was of no use to her. She likes to have her own career and still doesn't feel it's good enough. Michelle has previously said in an interview that she was very lucky to have a man that would spend that kind of lifestyle with her. He also likes to travel and she likes to film in different places. It's very rare.
