Edmond Leung and Karen Lam are tying the knot in style

Edmond Leung and Karen Lam were married yesterady, ending their 10 years marathon courtship. The wedding was held at Hong Kong Shangri la Hotel with a bangeut of 36 tables. Eric Tsang and Dicky Cheung were the MC. Edmond dressed in Alexis Mabille. He appeared to be very nervous few hours before the wedding that he was found walking up and down in the hotel room. During the ceremony when Edmond had finished reading his marriage vow, he continued to read out Karen's marriage vow too. Having read it out half of it then he realized he made a mistake, he quickly let Karen finish reading it. The couple became officially married; witnessed by both parents, over hundred relatives and friends. They kissed each other twice, the second kiss lasted about 10 seconds long.

Edmond and Karen did not follow the tradional Chinese wedding event of having the bridemaids blocking the door to stop the groom and the bestmen into the house untill negotiation is done in which the groom has to give a big red packet with a large sum of money to the bridesmaids. The couple even saw each other the night before the wedding.

Edmond arrived at the hotel about 1pm yesterady. He told repoter that he had accompanied Karen to have her body massage the day before the wedding. Than they went home together. Reporter teased him that they had spent the first nwedding night early. Edmond laughed "We have lived together for 10 years, what wedding night? I would be lying if I tell you we don't sleep together. I hope Karen will be happy forever. We appreciate each others positive attitudes. After the marriage, I will concentrate in my family and I will work harder. Asked if his uncle Wan Chi Keung would be attending the wedding ceremony, Edmond said he hoped so.

At about 4:30pm Edmond's friend Eason Chan, Conroy Chan, Au Yeung Tak Fan (Radio DJ), Eddie Ng, Dicky Cheung, William So, Andy Hui and Wilfred Lau were all there ready to face the reporters. Edmond was very anxious before the ceremony that he kept sweating. Edmond told reporter he would behave that he would not get drunk. He wanted to have a remarkable wedding. He laughed by saying "I don't want to look for rubbish in a rubbish dump." Asked if he has any surprises for Karen? Edmond said he won't exhibit that Karen just wanted the wedding to be a happy and formal event. Therefore he didn't want people to go wild and crazy in his wedding. Speaking about Vivian Chow has also announced her wedding, Edmond responded "I am not thinking too much. I congratulate them, hope they have a nice family and I have a happy wedding too."

CRHK's Billboard awards will be held next year 1st Jan at Asia Expo. The theme this year is "Family". Singers were grouped to different themes of families. The most special one was "Newcomer Family" formed by Miriam, Eason Chan, Denise Ho, Wilfred Lau, Deep Ng and Jason Chan, who wore school uniforms. There have been rumous of Denise Ho acting like the big sister when planning to form "Capital Artists Alumni" and caused Miriam and Eason to be unhappy. The three chatted and laughed at yesterday's press con. However, Denise's uniform were different from Miriam, Eason and Wilfred.

Eason explained that Wilfred and Miriam went to buy the uniforms and Denise was in a meeting and couldn't be contacted, therefore did not buy hers. Miriam denied being on bad terms with Denise. She expressed she's over 30 years old and feels weird to wear a uniform. This year she will attend awards show casually but still has confidence in her songs and felt the songs Leon Lai had picked are not bad. As for no having any hit songs this year, she said the financial crisis had affected people's mood. Singers should guard their positions well now. She also lost a bit of money in properties investments.

East Asia Capital Artist Concert (東亞華星演唱會)

East Asia had recently announced that they took over Capital Artist's music copyrightz and will be holding a concert named : East Asia Capital Artist Concert (東亞華星演唱會), on the 13th and 15th December 2008. The concert will consist of all East Asia artists which includes many of the top singers eg. Andy Lau, Sammi Cheng, Andy Hui, HoCC, Miriam Yeung, Richie Ren, Wilfred Lau, Ivana, etc.

Yesterday, Stephanie Cheng appeared at a radio station to promote her new album. In this album she has included many photographs of herself from throughout the years and a piece of work she has written during her school days. When mentioned that she's not being afraid to revealing photos of herself during the awkward phases of her teenage years, Stephanie cheerfully said: When I was younger, I was very naive and crazy. That's what makes me proud of who I am, so I'm not afraid of revealing my past. Then, she was asked why she didn't reveal intimate photographs of herself and rumored boyfriend Wilfred Lau. She said: An album is better a person.

Stephanie hasn't thought of inviting Wilfred to film in her new MV in order to boost its popularity. Instead, she'd rather invite friends to participate in concerts, or more important events. She hopes that her friends would take the initiative to buy her new album on their own. She was then asked if she wouldn't especially ask Wilfred to buy a certain number of her albums to give to his friends. She said: Doesn't really matter. I can buy the albums for my friends. Asked if her relationship with Wilfred involves the heart and not money? She sweetly said: It's in the heart.

Stephanie hasn't received a birthday present from Wilfred

It was Stephanie Cheng's 24 th birthday yesterday. She told reporters she would have dinner with her friends to celebrate her birthday after a function. Stephanie was not expecting Wilfred Lau (rumored boyfriend) to join her. "I haven't received a birthday present from him yet. I wait till I get a present from him then I would meet up with him. I have so many dinner dates this month anyway." Stephanie is preparing for her new record "23" and its cover. She will attach her home work diary written when she was in Kindergarten with the new record.

Andy gets a pink swimming trunk as birthday present

Andy Hui and Wilfred Lau had a joint early birthday party on August 4th. East Asia boss Wallace Kwok presented the birthday boys their birthday presents personally. For Andy's 41st birthday, he received a shocking pink swimming trunk. Andy said he will wear it on 12th August. Wilfred Lau was given a special lamp called " ice fire lamp". You have to put ice first before you turn the light on to make it work. The idea is to reduce sleepless night through over excited. Alfred who has the same birthday as Andy disclosed that he grows up listening to Andy's songs. He wouldn't think he has a chance to work with him under the same record company.

Stephanie Cheng wouldn't want to see boyfriend everyday

There is a rumor, Wilfred Lau told reporters, he has been seeing rumored girlfriend Stephanie Cheng day and night. It made people think that they are living together. Yesterday Stephanie attended a function and found out from the reporters what he had said. She was stunned " Is that so, I haven't heard that before." Earlier on Wilfred reportedly praised Stephanie's new hair do. Stephanie replied " If people appreciate my hairstyle, why not?". The reporter asked her if they are seeing each other day and night? She said it was not true. She reckoned even as lovers she cannot stand seeing him everday . She told reporter " Everybody needs some time and space on their own. I have work to do everyday anyway. How can I see him everyday? Nobody would believe that."

She commented she hasn't seen Wilfred for a while, but she has met up with some old school friends. In future if she is dating she would tell. If their relationship is stable, there will be a lot of well wishers. She doesn't mind going public, but she is worried about being followed by the paparazzi .
