Gigi Lai could be three months pregnant
Actress Gigi Lai who gave birth to a pair of twins last July is said to be pregnant again.
An insider revealed that the actress, 39, has been working hard on conceiving naturally. Her twins were conceived via in-vitro fertilization procedure.
The insider also expressed, "As Gigi knows that she is getting older, she will make other plans if she does not succeed in conceiving naturally within a year. Former Hong Kong actress Gigi Lai has changed her Chinese name from "Li Zi" to "Li Jia Er" after a geomancer told her that this would increase her chances of getting pregnant.
Upon hearing this news, Lai's husband, businessman Ma Ting Qiang decided to reward her efforts by forking out HK$20 million (S$4 million) to expand Lai's beauty salon.
The 38-year-old former actress had been married to Ma, 52, for the past 11 months. When they got married, she promised to give the Ma family an heir but her efforts so far have been in vain.
Desperate for a child, Lai went to fertility specialists and even consulted a geomancer on the matter, despite being a devout Christian.

The entertainment industry in Hong Kong has reported that Gigi Lai, 38, who recently left the industry to look after her brother who was injured in an accident, will be getting married on Feb 22 in Sydney, Australia.
The groom-to-be is Mr Ma, 52, a wealthy businessman who is 15 years older than her.
News of her marriage has graced the front pages of local Chinese tabloids and the media has even labelled her as someone who has
always been fond of older men.
According to my paper, Gigi reportedly prefers dating men who are relatively older than her. Her ex-boyfriends include Hong Kong comic king, Tony Wong, who is 21 years older than her, as well as Xu Jing Xiang, who is 9 years her senior.
Ever since her brother was hospitalised, Mr Ma, who is disabled, has provided Gigi with much support both financially and emotionally.
It was during these tough times when he told Gigi: "Stop working. I will look after you for life."
Gigi was so touched by his remark that she decided to give up her career and marry Mr Ma, according to the report in my paper.

Lai Denies because of Marriage that she Retires

Yesterday evening the cast of TVB Anniversary (Gem of Life) went on a luxury cruise to promote the series. The main leads Gigi Lai, Ada Choi, Maggie Siu, Bowie Lam, Moses Chan and Wong Hei all attended the promotion. The outfit’s Ada and Maggie wore attracted the most attention.
Despite the cast having a splendid buffet meal and watching Synchronised Swimming performances. Afterwards the cast made wishes with the candle holders and placed them in the pool hoping the TV ratings will be a success. When the female cast was placing the candles in to the pool.
