The day before yesterday, Andy Hui held the first of 3 shows of his <> at the HK Coliseum. Though Andy’s girlfriend Sammi Cheng had arrived at HK Coliseum early in the day to assist with preparations, she kept a low profile and remained backstage during most of the show – it wasn’t until Andy’s Big Four buddies Edmond Leung, Dicky Cheung, and William So went onstage near the end of the show that Sammi came out to sit in the audience section. The moment she appeared, the audience started screaming, so of course, Andy’s buddies would not give up such a prime opportunity to have some fun at Andy’s expense.

Edmond Leung spoke first: “Prior to the start of this concert, friends and fans received great news – I’m sure that everyone sincerely wishes for Andy and Sammi to be happy and to get married soon so that they can enjoy a new level in their relationship!” Andy immediately became embarrassed and told Edmond to quit playing around, but to no avail – at the same time, Sammi sat in the audience and looked away shyly when the camera panned over to her during Edmond’s speech. I hope that the Media will show you guys some mercy and give you space – if you [the Media] want to take pictures, at least wait until they return home and ‘accidently’ leave the curtains open, then take pictures!”

William So stated that he was really worried about Andy awhile back ago, as he looked a bit despondent and didn’t have anyone to accompany him on activities: “Recently, he has a more positive attitude and is more motivated…he also smiles more. It’s because he has Ah Mi [Sammi], so he’s able to smile like that!” Turning towards Andy, he continues: “Hopefully you continue to maintain that smile – we will definitely support you!” Not being able to stop his buddies from ‘poking fun’ at himself, Andy could only stand there and smile sheepishly – meanwhile, Sammi continued to sit in the audience section, sweetness written all over her face.

With Big Four together again, the 4 guys decided to do a ‘band’ segment for the audience – Dicky was on the drums, Andy was on vocals, Edmond played the saxophone, and William played the melodica. Despite a good effort, this impromptu ‘band’ ended up being a comedy of errors instead, as William kept going off tune and Dicky’s drum sticks kept flying out of his hands – though they did manage to give the audience lots of laughs!

Sammi continued to support her man until the show ended at 11pm, waiting until Andy sang the very last song before heading backstage. Even though the show ended, the fans did not want to leave and eventually Andy came back out to do an Encore, once again performing his and Sammi’s ‘love song’ <>. At the very end of his Encore performance, while performing his last song <>, Andy stated: “This song is very sweet, truly very sweet!” -- after he finished the song, he turned towards the spot in the audience where Sammi had been sitting earlier and said “I Love You!”

"It's difficult to say when it [the reconciliation] began. [I] went with my feelings. It felt natural when it happened. Dating is a very normal thing," Andy said.

TVB's deputy controller for external affairs Tsang Shing Ming declared that TVB variety show "Have Fun with Liza and Gods" had average ratings of 30 points. Hong Kong actress-singer Sammi Cheng's recent comeback to the entertainment scene after a battle with depression has been filled with talk of her previous 13-year romance with fellow Hong Kong artiste, Andy Hui.

The pair started dating in 1991 and broke up in early 2004 when Andy publicly announced the end of their 13-year relationship. After their high-profiled breakup, Sammi was labeled as an overbearing and bad tempered person, and was reportedly not well-liked amongst Andy's fellow buddies like Dicky Cheung.

Currently at Taiwan for her concert stopover and a new MV shoot, the 37-year-old finally broke her six-year long silence and explained the reason behind their breakup to the Taiwanese press.

"The old me used to be very willful and I took the people who loved me for granted. I am such a person and I have a fiery temper! Especially when I know that he is a person who loves me, it is easier for me to vent my anger on him," she said.

When asked if she regretted going separate ways with Andy, the Cantopop crooner hesitated a little before replying, "I think there are many instances of regrets in life. When you think of some regrets, it doesn't hurt anymore, but you will still regret. A lot of things in life are like this I guess!"

Although the rumour mill has been actively churning out reports of a Sammi-Andy reunion, the latter maintains a staunch "we are only good friends" stance.

When reporters asked if a reunion between them is possible, Sammi expressed, "I have no assurance over anything. Let God handle it!"

Sammi Cheng and ex-boyfriend Andy Hui were on the same stage again the day before yesterday, performing a duet for an event in Shanghai. Sammi and Big Four (Andy, Dicky, William, and Edmond) were the special guests for the event – they performed a few songs separately, but then, when Sammi sang <<信者得愛>>, Big Four got back on stage and performed the Rap part of the song; Andy and Sammi ended up singing certain parts of the song together, which became the focal point of the event.

During the event, Big Four appeared on stage first to sing a few songs; later on, it was Sammi’s turn to appear on stage as the ‘grand finale’ performer. After singing a few of her biggest hits, Sammi launched into her new song <<信者得愛>>, at which point Big Four came on stage and performed with her. Sammi indicated that she has not performed in mainland China in a long time, therefore, she hopes that this year, she will have more opportunity to perform in the mainland.

Recently, there have been rumors that Sammi is dating a middle-aged man from her church; when asked about these rumors, Sammi indicated that if she truly is dating someone, she will definitely announce it. She says that dating is a happy event and would immediately reveal if she were in a relationship, as the paparazzi nowadays is pretty good at digging things up, so there would be no point in hiding anything.

As for Big Four replacing Stephen Chan to host a new interview show for TVB, the 4 ‘brothers’ indicated that each of their responsibilities on the show are different and they cannot do without each other’s contribution, so the salary they receive will be equally divided amongst the 4 of them.
