Translation: Akazukin @ http://asianfanatics.net/forum
Source: tavia.org & shehsheh.com

Casts: Charmaine Sheh, Moses Chan, Kevin Cheng, Tavia Yeung, Susanna Kwan, Michelle Yim, Christine Ng, Fala Chen, Wai Ying Hung

Conflicts inside the Palace
The theme is on conflicts inside the Palace, of course it would focus more on the ladies than the men. As the Emperor who has three thousands concubines in the Palace, Moses Chan enjoyed the pretty ladies for himself: “The theme is on the story inside the Palace. I believe it will be as attractive as War and Beauty. Besides the theme, the casts are also very attractive, Susanna Kwan and Michelle Yim fight from Heart of Greed to Palace Scheme. It will definitely be a good watch!”

Susanna Kwan will give her first to this series: “I believe a lot of people will look forward to my first time acting in ancient series. After the make up, I personally feel it gives off a fresh feeling. Moreover, this time some of the artistes are from Heart of Greed group. We already have the connections between us. By seeing the title of the series, we already know that it will be about conflicts and competition in the Palace, with the theme on fighting for higher status. Actually, in recent years, there are less ancient series on this theme. I believe audience will definitely like it.”

(Caption 2: The two ancient beauties, Charmaine Sheh and Tavia Yeung, have beautiful costumes in the series)

(Caption 3: Michelle Yim’s acting in villain role has been well-received. This time, her role in Palace Scheme will be challenging.)

(Caption 4: Susanna Kwan’s first ancient costume looks suitable.)

Christine Ng recently became the spokeperson for Bella Beauty centres. She will enter her 40's soon and was also awarded the "Miss Photogenic" award. She revealed that her beauty tips was to be happy and joke alot. In 1989 she was awarded "Most Photogenic" in "Miss Asia Pageant 1989", after so many years she was awarded the award again. She stated that it was difficult to maintain her appearance and state but felt she looked much better now. So even if she enters her 40's she will not be worried. When discussing beauty tips, she feels that you need to have sufficent rest. Also need to do exercise and be cheerful. Her secret tip is that she often jokes. Asked whether she was like Hor Ma in "Moonlight Resonance telling gags? "I will tell happy gags and will always look on the brightside of life". She smiled and said she currently felt perfect. But her husband did not praise her, only her friends did.

Also, Christine stated she had just finished filming new series "Beauty High Resolution". As for the reports claiming she grouped up with Sharon Chan and Kindom Yuen and left Kate Tsui isolated. Christine expressed that she felt unhappy about the reports. "When you look at my record to date you will see I am quite clean with negative reports, when I read the reports I was a little unhappy. Actually I do chat with Kate and she had the most scenes with me. She doesn't have an attitude problem and don't either. She is a good colleague but I will not become good friends with someone just for news reports."

Kate Tsui couldn't handle the stress and cried

Thursday July 31, 2008 Hong Kong
Source : Associated Press
Translated By Edward @ Http://asianuniverse.net

Kate Tsui has been promoted by TVB heavily. She has filmed one drama after another, and have been given the "Most Improved Female Artiste" award last year. She has recently started to film for another drama titled "美麗高解像" (English Translation. Beauty High-Resolution). Because she was one of the female leads, she has to work day and night. Not only that she became ill, having insufficient rest affected her condition to film, this resulted Kate to become easily angry for having too many NGs as she is not satisfied with her performance. She cried to the producer in the dressing room, and it was fortunate that the producer is a understanding person. The filming for outdoor scenes was halted and Kate was allowed home to rest. Kate returned to film again after she pacified herself.

Kate Tsui competes in a beauty pageant again in the drama

Kate Tsui,Christine Ng and Sharon Chan's role in "美麗高解像" (English Translation. Beauty High-Resolution) will be 3 women of different ages living in different stages of life. Kate's role is very similar to her lifestyle in real life. The storyline of Kate's role in the drama is about her entering the entertainment industry after a beauty pageant. Because she is the female lead, her on screen time is more than the other casts. Because she fell ill while filming, she has to request for half a day of leave to rest.

High expectation + insufficient rest = ???

Kate Tsui has high expectations on herself. Because she was too tired and got insufficient rest, she was not satisfied with her performance. Her pressure became heavier and finally cried to the producer. Information revealed that her face was red and swollen in the dressing room. After the producer understands the situation and learnt that she is too tired,he decides to stop the outdoor filming and allowed Kate to return home for a rest of a few hours.

Producer admits Kate is stress

We have called the producer for a phone interview. He admitted that Kate is weighed down by the stress of filming. He said "Kate is giving herself stress, maybe she does not have sufficient sleep and was not prepared. Its like a student taking an examination with insufficient sleep, they will blame themselves for scoring badly." (Did she cry until her face was red and swollen?) "No.. Her body is feeling unwell and has got headaches. Its not a big problem." Asked if the producer will reconsider Kate's schedule,he said "We will look into it! As a producer,i have got to make use of time. We were at Tai O to film an outdoor scene earlier, the hot weather has almost caused her to suffer from dehydration. Kate has to do voice recording and attend promotion events for "Moonlight Reasonance" recently. She told me that she is very tired. I will look into her condition after her rest before i decide on the next schedules."

Manager : "Kate sleeps about 1 to 2 hours everyday"

Kate's Manager,Atom revealed that Kate has got only about an hour to 2 hours of rest everyday. It has been on going for a week. Because she was too tired hence she tend to get angry easily. "Her teary eyes was also the result of getting insufficient rest, not any tearful complains"

Christine Ng and Sharon Chan : We have not washed our hair for days!

The other 2 female leads,Sharon Chan and Christine Ng have also admitted that being the lead of the drama is very toilsome and tiring. Sharon Chan revealed that she has to film in another drama (The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly) while filming (Beauty High-Resolution). She has tried 4 days of not washing her hair or removing make ups. Sharon also reveals that she cherishes her time for rest. Christine Ng said "I have also tried not washing my hair for 3 days. Almost every drama is the same. Kelvin Cheng,Chin Ka Lok were suffering even more as they have to wear uniforms to put out fires in (Burning Flame III)." Asked if she has spoke to Kate to help relieve her stress? Christine Ng said "I didn't know, and didn't ask. I am more worry about her performance. The duty of an artiste is to do their best on their work. The producers were the one responsible to deal with artiste's problems."

A committee in Shenzhen (Sum Chen) hosted a earthquake relief special program for TVB and its production department called "We Are Together" (「我們在一起」). Last night the special called "For the Earthquake victims' children", many of the victims along with many artistes were present in Shenzhen for the event. Artistes present including - Suen Nam, Chris Lee, Peter Ho, Kevin Cheng, Timmy Hung, Angela tong, Myolie Wu, Eddie Kwan, Kenneth Ma, Christine Ng, etc. They all gathered together with donations, blessings, prayers for the Sichuan children and hope they will stay brave in the disaster areas. Hopefully after this tough time, they can live happily with the first new rebuilded school. To start a fresh new life.

Every attendee and guests at the event each contributed a donation to the "For the Children Victims of the Sichuan Earthquake Funds" - the donations will go towards the children who are in the hospitals trying to survive, for them to find their loved ones, reconstruction of the schools, support for the orphans and psychological counseling for the children in those five areas listed above.
