Roger Kwok and wife Cindy Au attended the "Healthy Baby Summer Catwalk Show" as well as the ceremony for best photographic awards yesterday. The invited guests included Selena Li and Natalie Tong. Roger and Cindy couldn't help playing with those babies they saw. Roger expressed that he usually takes a lot of photos for his son on special occasions. He recently discovered that his son's mouth is looking like his own. Reporter asked him if he would consider writing a book from the time Cindy was pregnant and following on about his growth and development. Roger replied that if antibody is going to write a book, it would be Cindy who would write about looking after a baby. Topic would include nutrition too.
Roger improves his muscles tone by carrying his son
Reporter asked Cindy if it was hard work looking after a baby. Cindy replied that lack of sleep is the main problem. She never thought of looking after a baby would lead to sleep deprivation. It is worse that filming. Breast feeding is not a problem because she wanted to be close to the baby. The baby is quite sociable. He doesn't mind being held by strangers. He wouldn't cry, but he just frowns at the stranger.
Roger explained, they don't usually take the baby out to crowded places in case he catches any infection. The weather is also too hot for them to go out. The baby also sweats a lot when he is sleeping, and he doesn't want the baby to get heat rash. He has been holding the baby a lot. His muscle tone gets stronger. Cindy also has her muscle tone increased. Roger remarked earlier on , he had forgotten to give Cindy a present for their wedding anniversary. But he had made up for it afterward. He had bought her a DVD of "Triumph in the Sky". This is because he knows Cindy loves this series. Even though it is shown again, Cindy is too busy to watch it.

Roger Kwok and Cindy Au’s Son is Born

credits to Serena @ http://asian-gossip.blogspot.com/
Roger Kwok is officially a dad. Last night, March 23, his wife Cindy Au gave birth to a 2.9 kg baby boy in a natural birth at Hong Kong Baptist Hospital. Mother and son are both doing well. Roger brought a camcorder into the labor room and filmed the important moments when their son was born. He was very emotional and felt that life was marvelous.
Yesterday, Roger's TVB manager announced the good news to the media. According to sources, the baby was born two weeks ahead of the due date. Cindy's water broke during the early morning on March 23. Roger read many books about pregnancy and he endlessly reminded himself to be calm. He accompanied his wife to the hospital. Cindy went into the labor room to prepare for labor that afternoon. The baby was born that night. Roger brought a camcorder to the labor room to film the important moments of their son's birth. He happily said: "I was very emotional when I saw the birth of the baby. I felt that life was very marvelous." He didn't forget to praise his wife and said: "She was wonderful. She didn't yell or scream like other pregnant women. Maybe she was conserving energy for the labor." Then he commended the hospital personnel for treating them well and making them feel at ease.
Their son doesn't have a Chinese name yet but his English name would be Brad. Cindy and Roger both like Brad Pitt. Who does the baby resemble more? He said the shape of the baby's face resembles Cindy and Brad's mouth resembles his. How do you feel about being a dad right now? Roger said: "I feel that I am at a different stage in life."
