Yesterday (05/12), the dramatic team of ‘Forbidden City Cop: Smart Dog’ once again opened for the media to observe and interview.
Louis revealed that since the cooperation of him with Sandra Ng in ‘Happy Family 2009’ was very happy, so he called Sandra to invite her join in ‘Forbidden City Cop: Smart Dog’. Surprised by Sandra’s character model in the movie, Louis raised his concern over Sandra’s costume: "The phoenix coronet seems too heavy to withstand and the multi-layered costume appears too thick for this hot weather. I’m really afraid it’s too much for her to endure.” However, Louis recognized Sandra as the prettiest one in the group: “Sandra is always beautiful. After became a mother, she’s getting even more attractive."
Asked about Raymond Wong’s plan of shooting ‘Happy Family 2010’ this October but Sandra is still considering whether or not to star, Louis stated: "I’ve decided that if Sandra agrees to make that movie, I’ll definitely join in. We are such good partners."
Sandra laughed off the incident happened with her costume which is about 20-pound of weight. The ornament is so exaggerated that when taking pictures with Louis, part of her ornament was caught in Louis’ hair and could not be free that easily. “We are stuck with each other like a stuck twin”, said Sandra.
Shooting the scene in which Louis and the King ruthlessly trampled on Li Kin Yan’s body, in order to get a real result, the action director asked Louis to kick hard after assured Louis that there was a protective pad. But even with Li Kin Yan’s encouragement, Louis still hesitated because he was afraid of hurting his partner. Not until the director used the wood board instead, only then Louis was at ease to stamp on it.
Director Wong Jing disclosed that the movie will be wrapped up in the next few days. He expressed that he feels pressure to film this comedy movie, a sense of ‘It must succeed, cannot be failed!’ He also unveiled Louis’ character in the movie: “While Stephen Chow’s character was very confident, Louis is kind of low self-esteem and often replies on his secret agent brothers to boost his morale.”
