I hope aside from the cold it will snow so I will have a white Christmas."

He revealed that the shoot will take a long time and on several locations in the Mainland. As the drug dealer he would be on the run. Luckily for now he knew that he would not have too many fight scene, just running scenes. His earlier leg injury also required running for physical therapy so he believed it would not be affected.

Louis Koo Gains 30 Pounds for New Movie

To promote new movie "Eavesdropping Situation" 《竊聽風雲》(directed by Alan Mak), Louis Koo Tin Lok, Daniel Wu Yiu Cho and Sean Lau Ching Wan appeared as guests on the Mainland talk show 《背後的故事》. The trio discussed the ups and downs of their careers and Daniel Wu revealed that he was extremely nervous when he filmed opposite Shu Qi early in his career.

When he was still a novice actor, Daniel had the opportunity to film opposite Shu Qi, who was already a popular artist at the time. Daniel felt very nervous and sweated in each scene opposite his co-star. Shu Qi was very friendly towards Daniel and often chatted with him, leading him into their scenes together. She assisted him and the pair became very good friends. If they were to film together again, Daniel will not be nervous.

While filming "The Banquet," Daniel grew close with Zhou Xun. Since the pair were both Libras, they shared numerous similarities. Daniel considered Zhou Xun to be one of his "brothers."

In “Eavesdropping Situation,” Louis gained 30 pounds for his role. However, since he portrayed a cancer patient in the movie, he had to shed 20 pounds to film the back-half of the movie. Since there was not much time between gaining weight and losing the weight afterwards, he did not eat for three days. He exercised profusely and ran for every 2 hours during every six hour interval. Despite this rigorous routine, Louis felt that this was his responsibility as an actor. Louis pointed out that Robert DeNiro gained 60 pounds for his movie, “Raging Bull.”

Louis Koo Tin Lok, Sean Lau Ching Wan Fu and Stephy Tang attended the opening ceremony for new movie, “Poker King” 《撲克王》yesterday. Louis Koo’s character will be a Poker master in the movie, and he will have a showdown with Sean Lau. Stephy’s character will be a gambling addict; she will play Louis’ girlfriend.

Several days ago, Louis was discovered in considering the purchase of a $150 million (HKD) Repulse Bay luxury property. Louis acknowledged that he saw the property, but did not Wan Fut to discuss further as this was a family matter.

In “Poker King,” Louis’ character will be an eccentric and highly skilled poker player. Prior to filming, Louis spent time learning poker playing skills and the habits of gamblers. After training for 1 month, he achieved improvement in his skills, but his hands became a bit paralyzed. "Each day, I practiced poker skills, whether I am eating or chatting with friends. Finally, I know a few card tricks.”

Although Stephy plays Louis’ girlfriend in “Poker King,” there will not be any intimate scenes between the pair. Since Stephy has not collaborated with highly experienced actors such as Sean and Louis before, she was a bit nervous in working with the senior actors. Although Stephy’s character was a gambling addict, she did not like men who gamble. What other qualities did Stephy dislike in a boyfriend? "He can not be obsessed with video games because I am not interested in them. I do not like it if he were to force me to play video games with him; he should make concessions."

Recently there were rumors that Stephy’s company intends to pull over Theresa Fu Wing’s fans to support Stephy instead. Due to Theresa’s loss of fans, this has troubled Theresa and Stephy. The matter will be handled by Stephy’s company. "I have to find out more details about the incident. My company is dealing with it. I can not elaborate further, but the reports are not true."

translated by karened @ http://asianfanatics.net

A while ago, Asia's biggest stars Louis Koo, Joling Tsai, Show Luo and Lee Jun Ki went to Thailand to film a brand new commercial for the drink they are endorsing for.

The filming location is in the suburbs of Thailand and the production team booked the entire holiday inn as their base. Because this commercial involves 12 artistes, and the filming of the paper media advertisements and the commercial are to be carried on concurrently, time was very tight. The production team specially organised team games for everyone so as to let them develop more chemistry. For example, there were all sorts of ball games, Wii, IQ games and refreshment stores that cook on request. There was even a massage service.

These stars, who are very busy with work on normal days, played to their hearts' content. Lee Jun Ki, who seemed to be a badminton expert, beat everyone at the game. Louis Koo and Show Luo were engrossed in Wii's tennis and bowling games. As for Jolin Tsai, she was well taken care of by the males but was often subjected to teasing by Louis Koo and Show Luo. Everyone was on a holiday mood during filming this time and totally enjoying themselves.

Surprised by Sandra’s character model in the movie, Louis raised his concern over Sandra’s costume: "The phoenix coronet seems too heavy to withstand and the multi-layered costume appears too thick for this hot weather. I’m really afraid it’s too much for her to endure.” However, Louis recognized Sandra as the prettiest one in the group: “Sandra is always beautiful. After became a mother, she’s getting even more attractive."

Asked about Raymond Wong’s plan of shooting ‘Happy Family 2010’ this October but Sandra is still considering whether or not to star, Louis stated: "I’ve decided that if Sandra agrees to make that movie, I’ll definitely join in. We are such good partners."

Shooting the scene in which Louis and the King ruthlessly trampled on Li Kin Yan’s body, in order to get a real result, the action director asked Louis to kick hard after assured Louis that there was a protective pad. But even with Li Kin Yan’s encouragement, Louis still hesitated because he was afraid of hurting his partner. Not until the director used the wood board instead, only then Louis was at ease to stamp on it.

He expressed that he feels pressure to film this comedy movie, a sense of ‘It must succeed, cannot be failed!’ He also unveiled Louis’ character in the movie: “While Stephen Chow’s character was very confident, Louis is kind of low self-esteem and often replies on his secret agent brothers to boost his morale.”

Louis Koo was present at Shanghai's Madame Tussauds Wax Museum to unveil his "Blue Warrior" wax figure. Louis is considering in spending money to make another wax figure so he can have a memento when he retires. "It takes a couple of million dollars (HKD) to make one of these (wax figures), and they also must have the time to make it, too. So I'll think about it in ten years. At that time it can be like a toy figurine and you can help him change clothes. For instance, pajamas, superman clothes, or it doesn't have to wear any clothing at all."

Since Louis is the first Pepsi spokesperson to have a wax figure, does this make him Pepsi's Number One Brother? "I think Jolin Tsai is Number One Sister because she is the only female spokesperson."
