The Hong Kong Performing Art Academy's 25th commencement ceremony took place yesterday. With her years in the film industry Sylvia Chang (Cheung Ngai Ga) received a honorary degree, Chung King Fai received a honorary drama doctorate degree, Joseph Koo Ka Fai received the honorary music doctorate degree and Peter Lam Kin Ngok received that honorary academy doctorate degree.
As the East Asia Entertainment boss, Lam Kin Ngok had the support of many company artists like Sammi Cheng Sau Man, Johnnie To Kei Fung, Anthony Wong Chau Sun, Andrew Lau Wai Keung, Richie Jen (Yam Yin Chai), Ivana Wong Yuen Chi, Wilfred Lau Ho Lung and Denise Ho Wan Si. Lam Kin Ngok's mother, children, Mr. and Mrs. Lam Kin Hong and Lam Kin Ming also attended. Even Michelle who was linked in rumor with Lam Kin Ngok attended.
Lam Kin Nogk was asked whether he would like to share the doctorate degree with his father the most. He said of course, at night he would offer incense and he should be happy. His artists said that the boss had everything so they did not consider giving a gift. He said, "Since they were willing to sign with me, they don't need to. As long as Sammi doesn't give me a red bomb (wedding invitation) I am fine. I didn't hear any news, next time I would ask her for everyone." Lam Kin Ngok pointed out that everyone was like him and wanted to see them get married! Earlier Cecilia Cheung Pak Chi was rumored to sign with Lam Kin Ngok, but Mr. Lam explained that it was a film negotiation. How was the progress? He said that so far he has not seen Pak Chi. At 7.1 magnitude earthquake hits Yushu County of Qinghai Province, China. The news shook our hearts, there current death toll has rised to 617, nearly 10,000 wounded. A Hong Kong volunteer (Wong Fok Wing) for the local disaster relief was killed due to the buildings crushing in on him. The hero shocked our hearts, even the Mainland, Taiwanese and Hong Kong artists. Everyone expressed their feelings and sent their condolences through their microblogs, showing how united the community is. Many donated materials, money and sent blessings to the earthquake victims.

Ivana Wong was at the airport yesterday on the way to Vietnam with ORBIS. She will be there for five days visiting the remote villages. Ivana took with her a few dozen stationaries and furry toys for the local children. As this is Ivana's first time to Vietnam, the reporter asked if she will try the famous local Vietnam noodles? Ivana said she is going there to visit, not on holiday. Last year she went to India with ORBIS, but this time, the place where she is going is even more backward than India. Ivana told reporter she didn't have the travel vaccination before hand because her friend had bad side effects after the injection. However, as a precaution, she has taken some masks and disinfectant along.
Talking about Stephanie Cheng being indecently assaulted, Ivana stated that she didn't read the news in details, but she asked the reporter whether Stephanie had cried? She will contact Stephanie later on to comfort her. The reporter asked if she is worried about attending any activity from now on? Ivana said that there is no point for her to get worried, she just has to rely on the people around her to protect her. She said, "Not scared, eat bananas as supplement will be fine!"

Hins: I look like a drug addict
Hins and Ivana Wong attended the activities for "Anti drug fight crime: North Divison" 禁毒滅罪耀北區 in Fanling yesterday. They told the school children do not touch drugs. He disclosed that because he appeared to be smell built, he was approached twice last year to play the role of a drug addict. But he didn't accept the role. Hins expressed that if he has a chance to develop such role, he wouldn't mind to do it, afterall he only weighs 134 pounds, he does look like a drug addict.

Ivana attended the "Chinese Innovation Pioneer Award" ceremony the other night wearing her own deigned clothes. Ivana disclosed that she had developed a high fever in the middle of the night few days ago. She contacted Hins straight away, asking him to go to the hospital with her. "We live very close to each other. He came to my house to pick me up and took me to the hospital casualty. He even went out to get me some noodles to eat so that I didn't take my medication in an empty stomach. I was very touched. (You are very impressed with him?) Sure I am, I was actually very touched. (Are you going to give yourself to him as a reward?) Certainly not!"

Hins went to GuangZhou, his hometown to perform his " Ardently Love Hins GuangZhou Concert 2008" He had invited Ivana Wong (rumored girlfriend), Kevin Kwan and Chang Shi Lei as his specail guests. Ivana's whole family went to support his concert. She even joked that Hins "took her home". When the concert started, Hins danced with Ivana and there were some intimate dancing scene between the two. Ivana revealed that she was very touched that Hins could perform in his hometown. She herself was not feeling well the night before, she had to ask the hotel manager to get her some medicine because she had a temperature.
After the concert, Hins had a celebration party. He thanked those who had supported him. It was the first time he had a concert in his hometown. He had waited for that for 7 years . Hins was so nervous in the rehearsal that he had injured his knees during a practice summersault. He disclosed that he was refused entry to the concert hall because he did not have his car registered with them beforehand. As a result, he waited outside for 45 minutes before he was allowed in.

Ivana and Hins had a life threatening experience

Ivana has been invited to appear in Hins concert in GuangZhou. Hins had requested that she would appear in low cut dress. But Ivana also had her own request. She wanted Hins to provide extra security guards for her protection. That was because Ivana and Hins had a terrible experience before. They had some crazy guys waving a knife at their throat to force them to perform.
Ivana disclosed that she was supposed to perform a concert with Hins in a place which she didn't want to mention because she didn't want to get into any trouble. They arrived at that place the day before the concert. When they were in the hotel, over 10 big guys busted inside the hotel and locked the hotel door behind them. The worker in the hotel tried to call for help, but one of the guys took the phone from him and smashed it up. One guy grabbed Hins shirt collar and another guy took out a knife and pointed at Ivana's throat. Somebody threw a chair across, just missed her head.
It was a chaotic scene. Hins manager kept very calm when he talked to someone looked like the head (大佬) of the gang. Ivana was very frightened at that moment. She thought she was facing death and her mind was blank. She remembered Hins telling them not to frighten the girls. There were some negotiations going on, in which money was involved. They were able to perform in the end but Ivana was imprisoned for 5 hours. She never stopped crying when they were rehearsing for the performance afterwards. When the concert was finished, Ivana asked Hins how come he was so brave? He replied that he was worried he had to support her for the rest of his life.
After that incident, Ivana has been very careful about her personal safety. Although GuangZhou is Hins home town, she would like to have some security guards there for her protection.

Ivana felt honored singing with Jacky
Ivana Wong performed her first "I come from the concert from Mars 2008" concert in Star Hall the other night. She sang Faye's song as well as Eason's songs. Among her guests, she had invited Jacky Cheung, Hins, and Sammy.
Years ago, She was discovered by singing Jacky's song "I am really hurt". That night she sang the song again with Jacky. Ivana thanked Jacky for performing that song. Jacky joked "I picked the youngest looking clothes to wear (tee shirt) I am here standing in front of a new generation. I should have put on something more trendy."

Leon is not worried about ticket sales
Leon Lai is organizing a 3 day charity concert called "Magic Live concert" in Star Hall with Janice (衛蘭) and Michael Wong in November. Ticket sales only started last week; it was reported in a magazine that the ticket sales were very bad.
Speaking to reporters about the rumor, Leon responded "Why are you reporters so eager to know about the ticket sales? It has only been a week since we started selling the tickets. Andy held Louise Lee sing love song to celebrate Mid-Autumn Festival
TVB Jade Solid Gold 2nd Selection was held two nights ago, other than singers that won awards which includes Andy Lau, Joey Yung, Charlene Choi, Hins Cheung,Chau Pak Ho, Ivana Wong, Jade Kwan and Stephanie Cheng.
The cast of the popular drama Moonlight Resonance were also present. To celebrate Mid-Autumn Festival, Andy duet with Louise Lee Sze Kei 'Yue Er Xiang Ling Mong' (Moon Look Like Lemon), they also performed a short skit.
Louise was there as an award presenter, she expressed that when she was rehearsing with Andy, she does not know that Andy wanted to held her hand thus she kept flinging her hand. She was later told of Andy's intention by her assistant.
When asked if she was mesmerized by Andy when singing the duet with Andy, she quipped: "Nope, I still think that he's too young to be my younger brother, could not be my son either, I still remember when I first met Andy, I feel that he has handsome features, thus leave me a deep impression and feel that he'll be popular in showbiz."
Louise exclaimed that she had collaborated with Andy in a movie but she failed to remember the name of the movie.
Andy won a hits and most popular commerical theme song award for his 'Ya Ye Zhang Dai' (Grow Up Within a Night).
Andy said that he had not been appearing in the program for a long time as he was working overseas earlier, he will try to attend more often when he has time.
He quipped: "I hope that I'll still win an award when I'm absent, I'll try my best to attend every prize presentation."
When talked about So Wa-Wai failure in the Paralympics Games 400m sprint, Andy understand that he had did his best, he feel that the disabled Hong Kong sportsmen lacked of a good training environment and the facilities are not enough, he said: "The foreign athletes are improving, so I hope the government will give our athletes more support."
Andy express that he will continue his concert world tour in Australia in October, thus he would not make another trip to Beijing, he would be "recharging his batteries" in another place.
In addition, Andy was invited by Ivana to watch her concert, Andy reveal as the date falls on his birthday, thus he would support her secretly.
He revealed that he will be coming back to Hong Kong on 25 September to celebrate his birthday before flying to Australia for his concert on 1 October.

Ivana Wong's show without Hins Cheung
The other night Ivana Wong had a mini concert at Hong Kong International Trade & Exhibition Centre. She had chosen a few Eason's golden songs. When the show was finished, she realized Hins Cheung, her rumored boyfriend wasn't there to support her. Ivana wasn't very happy about it. She expressed "I am very disappointed. Maybe he is very busy." Asked if Hins will be supporting her in September, Ivana replied "I hope so".
