Cecilia Cheung And Richie Jen Laugh Endlessly During Kiss Scene
courtesy of takungpao.com
Cecilia Cheung Pak Chi and Richie Jen (Yam Yin Chai) in the film LEGENDARY AMAZONS (YEUNG MOON NUI JEUNG ji GWUN LING YU SAN) had emotional scenes. They even had a kiss scene. During the shoot they were all flushed with embarrassment. Although Siu Chai and Pak Chi were good friends, the more familiar they were the more awkward they felt. In addition both have become parents. When they remembered their children at home, they could not focus. Their eyes would helplessly wander. Sometimes they did not even know where to look and thus cracked up with several dozen bad takes.
Finally the director had to half threaten half order them not to laugh again, otherwise the bad takes would be end credit material. Then they were able to complete the scene. In addition, Siu Chai had a lot of experience with costume films. However the shoot took place in the winter. Thus when he wore the several dozen pound icy armor, he felt the chill to the bones. In addition he had to handle the martial art action. Siu Chai often joked, "No one can be more tired, starved and colder than this."

As the East Asia Entertainment boss, Lam Kin Ngok had the support of many company artists like Sammi Cheng Sau Man, Johnnie To Kei Fung, Anthony Wong Chau Sun, Andrew Lau Wai Keung, Richie Jen (Yam Yin Chai), Ivana Wong Yuen Chi, Wilfred Lau Ho Lung and Denise Ho Wan Si. Lam Kin Ngok's mother, children, Mr. and Mrs. Lam Kin Hong and Lam Kin Ming also attended. Even Michelle who was linked in rumor with Lam Kin Ngok attended.
Lam Kin Nogk was asked whether he would like to share the doctorate degree with his father the most. He said of course, at night he would offer incense and he should be happy. His artists said that the boss had everything so they did not consider giving a gift. He said, "Since they were willing to sign with me, they don't need to. As long as Sammi doesn't give me a red bomb (wedding invitation) I am fine. I didn't hear any news, next time I would ask her for everyone." Lam Kin Ngok pointed out that everyone was like him and wanted to see them get married! Earlier Cecilia Cheung Pak Chi was rumored to sign with Lam Kin Ngok, but Mr. Lam explained that it was a film negotiation. How was the progress? He said that so far he has not seen Pak Chi. He said that the film will not start work until next year so he did not need to be in any hurry. Pak Chi is currently under marriage and family troubles, Lam Kin Ngok stressed that he would not add his opinion on other people's family matters. His only interest was in Nicholas Tse Ting Fung's sons to be in show business.

Michelle Ye, Leon Lai and Richie Ren
Director Dante Lam and the three leads
Richie Ren, Michelle Ye and Wang Baqiang[/i]
A Media Asia invested production and directed by Dante Lam with leads Leon Lai, Richie Ren and Michelle Ye, police-bandit mega production ‘Fire of Conscience’ will soon be released officially on 1st April.
Being the first police bandit mega production of the summer season in 2010, ‘Fire of Conscience’ is about a murder case of a prostitute which leads to an enigma. Leon Lai plays heavy crime unit chief detective, Man Fong while Richie Ren plays drug abuse team Kee Sir who both started out as partners but as truth unveils itself from day to day, the private lives of the two were respectively exposed too. Man Fong’s mood swings are hard to control, being involved in a mysterious case, yet he could barely craw a clear line between himself and the enemy, sinking into a case within another case, he becomes too dangerously involved.
The film’s female lead ‘May Jr.’ is played by Michelle Ye who performed outstandingly in ‘Accidents’. The role Michelle plays is not merely Leon Lai’s assistant, but also plays in several action and explosive as well as firing scenes with the two male leads. In efforts to accommodate the ‘tough’ image of a police officer, Michelle Ye cut away her long hair of years, totally putting aside her ‘sexy feminine’ image in the past. Michelle Ye’s performance in the movie earned high recognition from Director Dante Lam and movie king Leon Lai. Leon Lai even especially expressed: Personally really appreciate Michelle’s outstanding performance in ‘Accidents’, it seems that she is born to play tender woman well, and what is most ‘startling’ to me this time around is that she not only can fight, but she can fight real well.
Discussed of her image makeover this time into a police officer with gun, Michelle confessed: This time around is real different from the roles in the past, last time those roles are more feminine, and with nicer attire, but I like the simplicity atmosphere of this movie, sophistication is not in what you wear, but what atmosphere you create - I feel a woman police officer with gun is even more sophisticated.

Leon Lai spotted with a beard and mustache

Leon Lai spotted with a beard and mustache
Following a running scene in Tsim Sha Tsui, and climbing up a lamp post in Mongkok for a shooting a commercial recently, Leon Lai appeared in Salisbury Road again yesterday. This time, he was filming "Fire Dragon" directed by Dante Lam. The cast also includes Richie Ren, Charles Ying and Lui Kai Chi. The crew was ready in the location for the shooting at noon. Leon turned up with beard and mustache as well as some facial injuries.
The filming have attracted a lot of onlookers in the street and the traffic was grinding to a halt at one point. Yesterday's scene was about a few policemen carrying their duty to search inside a building. After the search, a masked suspect was handcuffed and led out by the police. It was a hot day yesterday and the casts was sweating as they were either wearing suit or long sleeve shirt. When there was a break, Richi took off his suit straight away, while Leon went inside the nearby shopping mall to enjoy the air conditioning to cool down.

Richie Ren Joins East Asia Record

Singer-actor Richie Ren attends a news conference in Hong Kong, where he signed with local music company East Asia Record on Tuesday, March 18, 2008.
Singer-actor Richie Ren has gotten one step closer to his dream of working with fellow star Andy Lau, since the performers are now represented by the same company.
Hong Kong entertainment empire East Asia Record welcomed Ren to its client roster on Tuesday, local newspaper Wen Wei Po reported.
The Taiwan star says he sees his new role at star-studded East Asia Record not a competitor, but a collaborator with its numerous stars.
East Asia Record represents A-list entertainers such as Andy Lau, Leon Lai, Sammi Cheng and Miriam Yeung.
Ren says he has always wanted to co-star in a film with Andy Lau, and expects his dream to come true soon.
East Asia Record has reportedly mapped out a blueprint to help the singer-actor accelerate his career.
Ren's first performance under the company will be two charity concerts to be held at the Hong Kong Coliseum on May 4 and 5, a fundraiser for a local hospital.
