Leo Ku teaches music and becomes 'alarm clock' to the children
Singer, Leo Ku (古巨基) is promoted to Ku Sir (古SIR) lately and acts as the teacher for the children during Mainland China program, Master Class (音樂大師課). He teaches music during the show and is always fond of children. Although the children refuse to attend lesson, but Leo Ku does not lose his patience and explains nicely to them. He also showed the Kubi doll handmade by him so as to accompany the children to sleep. From the photo uploaded by Leo Ku, it shows they have close bonding and he cannot bear to complete filming the show. Leo Ku left a message: "We are filming the second last episode and it is the last class. Have been telling you to wake up, laugh and cry together...... The precious 4 monkey and teacher Ku loves you!" Perhaps Leo Ku and his wife should have a baby soon since he is fond of children.

Leo ku flies all over for leslie cheung
Gei Jai earlier took time to return from Korea to rehearse and practice in preparation to attend "Gor Gor's" memorial event. He was seriously professional. That night he had to fly to work in Beijing. Gei Jai hoped through this performance to share his history with "Gor Gor" with "Gor" fans.

Leo Ku released new Mandarin album after 4 years later
Leo's new album consisted of the song, Zao Dao Ni Shi Wo Zui Wei Da De Chen Gong (找到你是我最偉大的成功), which was the ending theme song of Be With You (好想談戀愛) series which achieved high ratings. Throughout his career, this was Leo's first cooperation with Taiwan series in terms of song and it illustrated his attitude towards his life and 20 years romance with his partner.

Ricky Hui Passes In Peace

Famous comedy actor Ricky Hui Koon Ying earlier passed away due to heart disease at the age of 65. His family yesterday held a wake and the funeral will take place today at noon.
Yesterday around 3PM three to four security guards erected barriers outside the hall to prevent media coverage, but reporters through the barrier gaps peeked into the hall and saw white cloth decorations with white roses all over. In the center was a photo of a smiling Hui Koon Ying with his arms crossed in a brown military uniform style shirt. The banner across wrote "FOREVER MISSED". On both sides were "Puffer Fish's" favorite eagle designs. At the entrance were an eagle display and condolence book, as well as a crystal photo frame with a smaller scale photo. The hall also kept playing videos from "Puffer Fish's" past films like MR. COCONUT (HUP GA FOON), ALL'S WELL ENDS WELL TOO (FA TIN HEI SI) and CHICKEN AND DUCK TALK (GAI TUNG NGAP GONG). Inside and outside the hall were floral arrangements from "Puffer Fish's" friends like Andy Lau Tak Wa, Jacky Cheung Hok Yau and May Law Mei Mei, Adam Cheng Siu Chau, Chin Siu Ho, Raymond Wong Pak Ming, Clifton Ko Chi Sum, Nat Chan Pak Cheung and Wong Hung Sau, Ng Man Tat, Meg Lam Kin Ming, Peter Lam Kin Ngok, Peter Chan Ho Sun and Sandra Ng Kwan Yu, Bernice Liu Bik Yi, Leo Ku Kui Ke, TVB, RTHK and others. The Hui family also arranged for cakes and bottled water for reporters.

The first of three shows to Leo Ku's AMAZING WORLD CONCERT 2011 kicked off last night at Hong Kong Coliseum. It was a very heated atmosphere. Leo appeared like a Prince Charming and was fortunate to have invited 'alarm chest' Jessica C. as his guest performer. Jessica C. was dressed in a low-cut white dress, looking very sexy. She was like Leo's girlfriend as she was by his side the entire night. The two often looked at each other with deep emotions and eventually kissed live on stage. Everyone in HK Coliseum screamed in excitement! Leo laughed: "Let's all give a strong round of applause for my Princess tonight, Jessica C. (JC)! We just had our Prince and Princess kiss, just like a fairytale, no need to be that surprised!"

Leo blurted out that he has to teach JC Cantonese. He used the statement: "Dancing so much that my legs are extremely swollen!" to tease her. Leo Koo paid tribute to voluntary worker Wong Fuk Wing who gave his own life for saving people in the Ching Hai earthquake. Leo designed a "SPIRIT" charity tee shirt for sale, and all the proceed will go to the "Red Cross Wong Fuk Wing Memorial Fund"
Leo disclosed that he recently took part in the fund raising event in Beijing. He was moved by the heroic act Wong shown for saving people. Therefore he thought of an idea to design a tee shirt, using "Love Lives Forever" as the theme. Leo was looking for the same type of rucksack Wong used when he was saving lives, but they were sold out. He found a similar rucksack for this charity purposes. Leo hopes through the "symbolic" gesture of Wong's rucksack tee shirt, people will continue to remember Wong's heroism.

Four Heavenly Kings gathered at Artistes 88 Fund Raising Campaign
Artistes 88 Fund Raising Campaign was held at AsiaWorld-Expo last night. There was no glamourous stage nor costumes, all 300 performers from Mainland China, Hong Kong and Taiwan all wore white.
There are no cheers or light sticks, everybody gathered together no to watch an exciting performance but to tell the troubled Taiwanese typhoon victims that they are not alone, all cheered “Taiwan you can do it!”.
To support the Taiwan rescue works, initial by the Hong Kong Performing Artiste Guild, 24 organization and media collaborate in this 4-hours Artistes 88 Fund Raising Campaign, using songs to urge for donations, up till 11:30pm, with adding to the money collected from internet and donation boxes, a total of $50900,000 was collected.
More than 100 singers sang the theme song ‘Tao Tao Qian Li Xin’ for the opening of the event. There are 13 comperes for the event which includes Nat Chan, Sandra Ng, Paw Hee Ching, Sally Wu, Sylvia Chang, Harlem Yu and other representatives from TV and radio stations. More than 300 artistes performed included Eric Tsang, Alan Tam, Andy Lau, Jacky Cheung, Aaron Kwok, Sammi Cheng, Miriam Yeung, Hacken Li, Leo Ku, Vivian Chow, David Tao, Cai Qin, Jam Hsiao and many others.
Last night, Andy was running around the stage throughout the night, he duet with Sammi Cheng in ‘He Cai’, then duet Hokkien song ‘Tian Xia Di Yi Deng’ with Richie Ren to encourage Taiwan, then duet ‘Peng You’ with Nat Chan, Alan Tam and Wynners.
The highlights of the event was the Four Heavenly Kings performed on the stage again, this is the first time that they appeared on stage at the same time since the 2007 Hong Kong handover 10 anniversary gala show.

Despite the rumours of Leo and Ronald not getting on, this didn't affect their friendship. During the event the organisers donated mobile library vans worldwide, including 3 vans to Sichuan. They will be travelling in one of the vans to Sichuan this month to visit the victims of the earthquake.

Yumiko Cheng, Vincy and William Chan were rehearsing for "Extravaganza Towards the Community Chest" which will be aired on Saturday. The three of them will perform dressing up as students, singing and dancing together. The song describes Yumiko and Vincy staying away from "Four eyes" William because he is not a good looking guy.
Yumiko said she doesn't have any prejudice against "Four eyes". It is not true that she only likes good looking guy, in fact she likes guys with a talent. The reporter asked if one is skilled in make up is considered a talent as she is rumored to be dating a make up artist. Yumiko laughed "Sure, it is a talent." Speaking about Leo Ku who has joined EEG, Yumiko said she is very happy for him and hopes she will have a chance to work with him one day.
Vincy revealed that she is worried that she may expose herself as she was wearing school uniform and some dance routine require her to jump up. She decided to wear a short instead. Vincy also disclosed that she is fear of height. When she was lifted up during the dance routine, she was a bit frightened. During rehearsal, she kept holding on tight to the other dancers. She was so embarrassed because she nearly pulled one of the dancers down on the floor. Vincy has been busy organizing her concert which will be held later on the year. She disclosed that she is under a lot of pressure these days as she has been busy rehearsing for that.
William also expressed that he hopes to work with Leo too. He recalled last year when he was in the award presentation in "Jade Solid Gold", he was so touched as Leo Ku gave him so much encouragement backstage.

Leo Ku staying out of gossip
Leo Ku, Kitty (小儀), William Chan and Aimee Chan, the children ambassadors attended "TVB 2009 Children's Day opening ceremony" yesterday. Joe Nieh, Vivian Chow already married 10 years ago

The dramatic twist in Joe Nieh and Vivian Chow's relationship is unbelievable. While their marriage preparations are in progress, there is a new development to their love story. According to the latest edition of Hong Kong's East Magazine, Chow and Nieh has registered their marriage ten years ago in the States. This is also speculated to be the reason why Chow has tolerated and forgave Nieh's frivolous behavior, in salvaging the marriage.
East Magazine also reports that when Chow gave up her career at its peak in 1997 for migration to the States, she was only holding a social visit visa and has to constantly renew it every three months. To save the trouble, Chow and Nieh registered their marriage under the witness of Nieh's parents and some close relatives. They had been staying in San Francisco until 1999 when they moved to Canada after Chow received her green card.
Last Thursday, Dec 18, Nieh announced unilaterally that he will be marrying Chow. According to a lawyer, their marriage registration in the States is legally effective in Hong Kong and there is no need to re-register their marriage. However, even if they were to re-register, it will not be considered bigamy as long as their spouse is the same person. Even if they were to file for divorce, it is also not necessary to do it in both countries. However assets allocation will be done according to the legislation of the country where the divorce is filed; in Hong Kong, both parties will take half of their total assets.
The media and public have also been speculating the venue of their wedding. Most believe that the highly luxurious and tranquil Hong Kong Parkview may be the place for the wedding banquet as Nieh is a member of the clubhouse. Hong Kong artiste Leo Ku will be ushering in the New Year with his fans at Genting’s Arena of Stars.
Following his Magic Moments 2007 tour concert at Stadium Merdeka, Kuala Lumpur, last Christmas, Leo Ku is back this year to lead fans to a rousing countdown at the Arena of Stars, Genting – City of Entertainment, on New Year’s Eve.
Starting off in showbiz as a TVB entertainment news presenter and host of Jade Solid Gold music show in 1992, Ku turned singer in 1994 with his Cantopop album Explanation of Love.
The 36-year-old entertainer has come a long way since becoming the first singer to win all four newcomer gold awards from Hong Kong’s radio and TV stations.
He was also named Favourite Artiste of Hong Kong at MTV Asia Awards 2008, which was held at Genting’s Arena of Stars in August.
Ku is one of the few Cantopop singers who uses falsetto to perfection; he has been commended by Taiwan-based R&B star David Tao. Ku has also been referred to as one of the New Four Heavenly Kings – along with Hacken Lee, Andy Hui and Edmond Leung – by none other than evergreen Hong Kong entertainer Alan Tam.
Apart from his base in Hong Kong, his concert tours have taken him to Malaysia, Singapore, Australia, Canada and China.
The singer-cum-actor has more than 30 albums and a dozen feature films (including voiceovers for animations) under his belt.
His smash hit album Jade Solid Gold, named after a popular music show of the same name, hit double platinum (100,000 copies) two months after its release, and became one of Hong Kong’s top 10 albums in 2005.

Leo Ku hopes Vivian and Joe will make up and have a happy ending
Leo Ku contacted Vivian Chow yesterday to ask if she was coping well with the recent news that Joe was seen kissing a girl in Lan Kwai Fong. He said Vivian was ok.
