Famous comedy actor Ricky Hui Koon Ying earlier passed away due to heart disease at the age of 65. His family yesterday held a wake and the funeral will take place today at noon.
Yesterday around 3PM three to four security guards erected barriers outside the hall to prevent media coverage, but reporters through the barrier gaps peeked into the hall and saw white cloth decorations with white roses all over. Bernice Liu dumped by millionaire Alastair Lam
Last December, actress Bernice Liu reportedly dumped fellow actor Moses Chan, after appearing at a dinner with millionaire Alastair Lam.
Earlier this year, Alastair publicly declared that he intended to court Bernice.
However, the couple's relationship was forced to take a backseat, after Bernice left to work in China.
Alastair -- who disliked being alone -- then focused his attention on socialite Jacquelin Chong, who had broken up with her boyfriend in mid-August.
The millionaire was spotted picking up Jacquelin frequently and had even taken her to dinner with his friends, as if confirming her status as his girlfriend.
Previously, the pair enjoyed a Japanese meal together and uploaded the photos of food onto their microblogs.
Meanwhile, Bernice -- who lost both Moses and Alastair -- was said to have turned to her girlfriends for company instead.
A couple of days ago, the actress and her gal pals went to a restaurant in Central, Hong Kong for dinner. Bernice, who looked preoccupied initially, lit up after exchanging pleasantries with the owner of the restaurant.

Bernice Liu has recovered from food poisoning

Bernice Liu attended an opening ceremony for a new handbag shop yesterday. She told reporters she was off sick for a few days following food poisoning. Bernice revealed that she went to a cafe restaurant with her cousin last week. She suspected the machine for making fresh orange juice was not cleaned properly. After her cousin had the orange juice, she felt ill almost straight away. Bernice herself had diarrhea and vomiting when she got home later on. She thought it was due to the bad weather. After she had seen the doctor, she was told by the doctor she had food poisoning.
Bernice has now recovered from food poisoning and started work again. She will be going to Beijing and Shanghai to work on the commercial. In May, Bernice will be promoting "Ip Man-prequel" in Asia. Bernice disclosed that after she finished filming the movie, she grew to love "Wing Chun". She is still practicing Wing Chun even thought she is no longer working on the film. She practices three to four times a week to maintain her training. That way, she can keep herself fit . Bernice smiled and said when she is working, she is fine. As soon as she is resting, she becomes ill, therefore it is better for her to continue working.

Earlier Bernice Liu went to Guangzhou to attend a brand new Perfect Shape store opening event. As the spokesperson of Perfect Shape, despite being westernised she immediately demonstrated her Mandarin skills that she learned for the audience. Her pronunciation was very good too.
As well as showing off her Mandarin, Bernice also played games with the audience. She shared slimming tips with 2 clients that successfully lost weight. However when the host asked how much she weighed in the past she suddenly felt awkward and laughed. She successfully made the atmosphere very lively.
Afterwards she did a ribbon cutting for the brand new store and accompanied the manager Ms Swana Wong to do a lion eye dotting ceremony. Although the place was crowded with people Bernice still signed autographs.

It was the first time he walked the red carpet and also winning an award relating to artistes. He is very pleased to have won this award. Bernice smiled and said: "Actually take plastic bottles for example, if the entire Hong Kong use one less water bottle, then 7 million plastic bottles will be saved. So don't underestimate the power of an individual." Plastic bottles contain harmful substances, so they both do not drink from a water bottle, rather they use glass bottles or aluminum bottles to hold the water. Sammul also brought less clothing to avoid trouble.
But as an artist they often need to get new clothes, this also due to environmental protection. Asked if he's buying less clothes now? Bernice Liu and Kenneth Ma were filming in Lan Kwai Fong for TVB's new series "Shall We State the Case" earlier. That night, the two were on location to film a kiss scene. Since the time of filming was during the busy evening, it attracted many passersby to watch them film.
When Bernice was asked if she felt awkward filming a kiss scene with Kenneth, she said, "No! I have worked with Kenneth previously in "Into Thin Air", and we also had kiss scenes in there. The kiss scene we filmed that day (this one) wasn't even that intense. The ones we filmed prior to this one was more intensive! But of course I can't reveal that much right now. In this scene, Kenneth said something in front of his friends that he should not have discussed. Upon hearing this, Bernice felt unhappy and left. Kenneth then chased after her and kissed her, but Bernice was still upset about it.
