Cecilia Cheung: Nicholas Tse is not worth loving

Hong Kong celebrity couple Cecilia Cheung and Nicholas Tse went separate ways in 2011 and their sons Lucas Tse, 7, and Quintus Tse, 4, have been living with their mother since then.

Lately, it was revealed on Cecilia's Weibo by a netizen that Nicholas chooses work and social life over spending time with Lucas and Quintus even though Cecilia does not object to his visits.

Cecilia feels that children from a broken family should be showered with even more love, but she has given up on Nicholas and said, 'A man like this is not worth loving.'

Last Saturday, her ex-manager, Tiffany Chen, received a call from the actress who cried and told her she felt her sons were deprived of their father's love.

'I talked to Cecilia and she wept. I asked if it was because she still had feelings for Nicholas, she said no and shared it was because she felt sad for her sons. Their father does not care about them and they rarely met this year. She told him he was always welcome to visit but he finds excuses with work and do not spend time with them,' Tiffany shared.

Following reports of Nicholas and former lover Faye Wong's reconciliation, Tiffany also shared on Weibo: 'Their reconciliation does not concern me, but all of a sudden, I feel so sad for Cecilia and her sons'.

Cecilia was reportedly hospitalised recently due to acute gastroenteritis while filming reality show Star To My House and was suspected to be due to the shock of the reconciliation news.

As for Nicholas, he attended activities as scheduled but did not respond to those speculations. He was spotted wearing a Buddhist beaded bracelet which he previously claimed was 'from a friend' but netizens guessed it was from Faye, who is a Buddhist.

Nicholas Tse retracts his previous ambiguous statement, stressing that he is not dating Janice Man

Hong Kong singer turned actor Nicholas Tse was in the media spotlight recently for his rumoured relationship with model Janice Man, which he did not deny previously.

However, at a promotional event for Lunar New Year movie From Vegas to Macau in Beijing two days ago, the 33-year-old singer had a 'change of heart' and said '“ with an innocent expression '“ that the rumours 'are not true!'

When asked if he will seek his son's opinion when he has a girlfriend in future, he replied: 'My son (Lucas) is only six. But let's not talk about this, I don't want to speak about my son at a public event.'

Besides Nicholas, the movie also stars screen legend Chow Yun Fat, from whom the former admits he has been learning a lot from.

Chow Yun Fat was full of praise for Nicholas. 'He's young, charming and hardworking,' he said. 'Previously I've said that the future of Hong Kong films in the next 30 years depends on Nicholas. But of course, this statement is meant to give him pressure.'

Chow Yun Fat returns to the role of a 'god of gamblers', 20 years since his last gambling film. He even specially lost 20 kg for the movie, explaining that acting alongside young skinny actors is stressful, so he felt that he had to lose weight!

Director Wang Jing said the movie has potential to bring in 1.5 billion RMB (approximately S$310 million) into box office and become a major blockbuster in China.

As box office sales in China can reach up to 20 billion RMB (approximately S$4.1 billion)  in a year, Chow Yun Fat is also confident that it will surpass that in America in 10 years' time.

Nicholas Tse undergoes surgery for skin problem

The Hong Kong star disclosed that he was suffering from serious skin problems on a talk show

Hong Kong actor Nicholas Tse recently revealed that he underwent a surgery to remove a cancerous growth on his scalp. During the talk show, Nicholas shared that he received the call from the host to appear on the program, on the day he went for the procedure.

The 32-year-old first noticed the appearance of black moles on his crown three years ago, when he had to shave for the filming of movie Bodyguards and Assassins. He waved it off but was alarmed when he discovered that the moles increased in size and became patches of pigmentation when he went bald again for a recent movie role.
His manager urged him to visit the doctor when he observed that some of these black patches were swollen.

Nicholas Tse reveals cancer scare

It's rare that Nicholas Tse accepts TV interviews, but he appeared in last night's episode of Tell Maria, hosted by Maria Leitao (黎芷珊). As there is a convention on this talk show, each interviewee must share a small secret with the host. To our surprise, Nicholas' small secret is that he had skin cancer! When he discovered a black mole on the left side of his scalp, getting larger and larger, he went to check it out with a doctor. At the time, the doctor told him that he won't be able to remove the mole via electrolysis and discovered he had melanoma. The doctor said Nicholas had skin cancer and must be treated immediately.

Last month, he was admitted to the hospital for the surgery to get the skin cancer completely removed and got 5 stitches. At the time, his mother Deborah Lai accompanied him to the hospital, but his father Patrick Tse did not know about it at all. Last night Nic and his father Patrick arrived at the HK airport, they had just got back from Beijing. He causally accepted an interview, when asked how he's doing now? Nic said: "I'm ok, I'm ok. I'm fine! I just mentioned it in the interview and already said I'm fine." Nic was wearing a cap and it appears he hasn't shaved yet, he expressed its not because he's trying to cover his wound, just his hair is too short.

Nicholas Tse Shows Hong Kong Action Spirit

Nicholas Tse Ting Fung often personally performed his stunts. For the film THE VIRAL FACTOR (YIK JIN) he even personally jumped from eight stories above into a narrow gap. Luckily he did not get hurt. Afterward he admitted that it was very satisfying and even hoped that such "life risking" Hong Kong action would spread.

VIRAL FACTOR

The Emperor Motion Picture VIRAL FACTOR (YIK JIN) cost almost 200 million yuan and was shot in Malaysia and Jordan. The film gathered stars like Nicholas Tse Ting Fung, Jay Chou (Chow Kit Lun), Lin Peng, Bai Bing and Andy On Chi Kit. The production team earlier headed to Malaysia's "Mongkok of Kuala Lumpur" golden triangle Jalan Raja Chulan. With the full support of the Malay government, the team not only had road blocks two days in a row for a chase scene and an explosion but also police officers and many police vehicles to assist with pedestrian and traffic. Ambulances and fire engines were also on hand.

The shoot took place on a Kuala Lumpure holiday. Many fans and Malaysians already grabbed a good spot early in the morning. During the official shoot, Keung Ho Man with a bulletproof vest and Ting Fung with a smoke grenade launcher traversed between vehicles as Chow Kit Lun followed them closely. They fired shots at each other and finally even fought hand to hand. The gun shots made onlookers scream in fright. Many also applauded their exciting fight scene. Unfortunately working under the heat of Kuala Lumpur, only the three of them knew their own pain.

In addition, the giant explosion scene on this street was also a major scene. After the explosion fire erupted and reached four stories high. The explosion could be heard several blocks away, onlookers were stunned. Director Dante Lam Chiu Yin appreciated the local government's support very much and at the same time lamented that he had no chance to shoot such a scene on the streets of Hong Kong. "Although now Hong Kong film production conditions and coordination are already well matched, in comparison to Malay, Hong Kong still has many restrictions. I definitely cannot possibly shoot such a gun fight or explosion with a Nathan Road road block because the entire Kowloon would collapse, but this time I am able to do so in Malaysia."

Nicholas Tse negotiates new film

Nicholas Tse Ting Fung has been busy with work after returning to Hong Kong. Earlier after a watch ad yesterday afternoon he returned to his post production company in Causeway Bay to meet with directors Alex Law Kai Yui and Mabel Cheung Yuen Ting about a script. Ting Fung and his assistant greeted reporters. When asked about a magazine reporting that Lucas wanted to go with his father when they met, he only coldly said, "How would I know about magazine reports?" Then he returned to the company. After the meeting the directors left first. Law Kai Yui said that Ting Fung was very smart and professional. His mood was not affected. He also admitted that this time he discussed working together on a new film. If all goes well the production will take a few months and begin work in the winter.

After ten minutes, Ting Fung left the company with assistant Cousin, Roger and a worker. Cousin even dragged an orange suitcase. Did he talk about working together with the directors? Ting Fung only said, "How do I answer that question? (Where are you going later?) You will follow anyway." A reporter almost tripped and Ting Fung lent a hand as he kept telling reporters to be careful. After getting in the vehicle he also made an OK gesture with a fully chok look. The vehicle headed toward Cecilia Cheung Pak Chi's residence.

Cecilia Cheung's eldest son to adopt her surname?

It was also rumoured that the Hong Kong actress refused to let her son go to school

Now that it is confirmed that Hong Kong celebrity couple Nicholas Tse and Cecilia Cheung will divorce, the spotlight shifts to the couple's impending fight for their children's custody.

It was rumoured that Nicholas would be returning to Hong Kong on July 8, and would give Cecilia HKD$200 million (S$30 million) in exchange for custody of his sons.

The actor also wanted his son Lucas to start school soon.

It is believed that four-year-old Lucas began studies at a nursery last year and would be qualified for entry into an international school this September. However, the child missed an entrance interview with the school because Cecilia had taken Lucas to filming with her.

"Nicholas arranged for an interview through his contacts. However, Cecilia took Lucas to filming, causing the child to miss the interview. Nicholas is bound to deal with the problem when he comes back from Malaysia," an insider said.

He added that Nicholas intends to lessen his work load, in order to take care of his sons personally and not rely on his mother Deborah Li.

However, according to a Hong Kong magazine, Cecilia has rejected Nicholas's suggestion of allowing Lucas to start school.

An "adviser" from Cecilia's camp even told her to let Lucas adopt her surname once she received custody of the child.

During an imaging session for a new movie in Ningbo, China, a reporter probed if Lucas was going to adopt her surname, the actress replied, "Thanks!"

Nicholas's manager Mani Fok said that they would not comment on anything related to the child's surname.

It was said Nicholas Tse will wrap up the shooting of his new film and return to HK this Friday. Then he will immediately head over to Cecilia Cheung's house to see his two sons Lucas and Quintus. He will be preparing for Lucas to start school as soon as possible. As Nicholas' good buddy, Eason Chan, earlier he held a concert in Malaysia. Yesterday he attended the 100 Year China Multimedia Production event created by RTHK and the HK Federation of Youth Groups, Eason expressed he visited Nicholas at the hotel while he was in Malaysia, but did not talk about his family matters.

At first, reporters continuously asked about Nicholas, but Eason kept doing Tai Chi to avoid the questions. When speaking of Nicholas' return to HK this Friday to see his two boys and start the child custody fight, Eason continued to drag out the topic: "On the 7th, I'm going to hold a mini concert on CRHK, fortunately he's not back in HK yet, and won't come watch it. If he comes to mess with me, he will steal all the attention from me!" When asked about the Nicholas-Cecilia battle for child custody, Eason said: "I do not care about anyone else children, none of my business! I'm just concerned for my own daughter! Honestly, I feel pretty annoyed seeing their news reported every day!"

Nicholas Tse to give Cecilia half of his assets

The celeb couple goes all out to win custody of their sons

How far will Nicholas Tse and Cecilia Cheung go to win the custody of their sons?

Following the batch of photos of Nicholas playing with Lucas during their Macau trip, a three-minute long video clip of Cecilia accompanying Lucas at a school's Christmas event last year surfaced two days ago.

In the video, the motherly side of Cecilia was seen as she joined the other parents in a game with their children. She was also on a constant look out for Lucas and encouraged him to play with the other kids.

It seems like both parties are going all out for their sons' custody.

At the same time, rumours about Nicholas and Cecilia having separated continue to circulate. The actor, reportedly will not stay at his marital home at Yang Ming Shan when he returns to Hong Kong on Friday.

Nicholas is also rumoured to give Cecilia half of his assets to thank her for everything that she had done over the past five years, as well as to prove that he still loves his wife.

In other news, a Hong Kong magazine recently published a photo of Nicholas' mother Deborah Li with a bruised nose. The veteran actress had refused to comment on how she was hurt.

The same magazine also insinuated that Deborah had been putting up with Cecilia and her family's rude and brutal attitude, suggesting that the actress' family might had beaten Deborah up.

Nicholas Tse misses his son

Nicholas Tse Ting Fung's manager Mani Fok Man Hei yesterday attended a press conference and said that Ting Fung has not seen his sons in a long time and missed them very much. Earlier he was off five days in Malaysia but did not return to Hong Kong to see his sons because he had to stand by in Malaysia and could not leave. On the 26th Ting Fung would attend his new film TREASURE INN (CHOI SUN HAT JANG)'s Beijing promotion. Originally Ting Fung wanted to return to Hong Kong after that but he did not have any time. Because THE VIRAL FACTOR (YIK JIN) loaned the locations in Malaysia from the local government, they could not stop randomly. The TREASURE Beijing promotion took a long negotiation before coming to terms. Some pointed out that Ting Fung would answer questions about his marital woes, Mani denied that. The company in order to maintain order already hired six security guards.

Nicholas tse breaks his silence

Nicholas Tse Ting Fung and Cecilia Cheung Pak Chi's marital troubles gradually are in the clear. Pak Chi who has been silent for a long time two days ago finally struck back, claiming that Ting Fung was not a good husband and a good father. Two nights ago Ting Fung's good friend returned fire on the microblog and supported Ting Fung as a low key good father. Yesterday Ting Fung issued a statement and said that he has already made a painful decision and starting yesterday would work hard on his family matters. Although he did not specifically say divorce, in his statement he thanked Pak Chi for all that she gave over five years and sent his well wishes. Seemingly the "Fung Chi" five year marriage could end at any time.
