A few days ago, Cantopop diva Sammi Cheng became the Asian ambassador for international sports shoe brand Skechers, marking her first time endorsing a sports shoe brand in her career. The singer was rewarded with a seven-figure remuneration in Hong Kong dollars for her two years endorsement deal and the theme of the endorsement is 'Create your S Legend'.
On Sep 27, a simple contract-signing ceremony was held at Tsim Sha Tsui, Hong Kong. The event attracted a large media turnout and more than 20 media outlets from Singapore, Malaysia and China were also invited. xinmsn was the only online media from Singapore, invited to the press junket.
Michael Greenberg, the CEO of Skechers America, was also present at the event.
Decked in a bright red jacket, matching yellow blouse and a blue pants, Sammi appeared to be in a good mood and was smiling happily.
Michael presented Sammi with a pair of the latest ultra light sport shoes, making her the first person in Hong Kong to own a pair. The singer expressed cheerfully that neon green had always been her favourite colour.
