TVB's deputy controller for external affairs Tsang Shing Ming declared that TVB variety show "Have Fun with Liza and Gods" had average ratings of 30 points. This episode contained the sketch that consisted of Wong Cho Lam and Johnson Lee portraying (Ah Sa and Ronald Cheng's press conference). "TVB's Anniversary Extravaganza" is the only other TVB variety show that received similar ratings since October 15th 2008. The company has decided to hold a celebration dinner on Friday 16th. As for whether the show will add more episodes will depend on the Producer.
Portraying a woman is bad for the children
Despite the show receiving good ratings, there were still viewers who complained and TVB received 4 complaints. The Broadcasting Authority also received 1 complaint. Tsang Shing Ming said "3 of the complaints received were about Wong Cho Lam. They stated that he shouldn't portray a woman as it's bad for the children. He shouldn't imitate Sammi Cheng because it's humiliating the church. He also shouldn't imitate Charlene Choi because she is already very sad. It's just adding more harm to her. In addition, another viewer complained that Liza Wang's singing was average. Actually the theme of the show is to imitate people and only a game. The Broadcasting Authority also received a complaint about the show insulting the church".
