A few days ago, a Hong Kong magazine reported that Miriam Yeung's husband, Real Ding, went to a private hospital alone, and speculated that he went for a sperm analysis.
While attending an event, the singer was shocked to learn about the report and claimed that her husband probably did not want to disrupt her work and therefore, did not mention it to her.
Miriam added that she knew her husband was going for a checkup and said it was just a routine health check.
The Hong Kong actress quipped that there's "nothing to be ashamed of" and commented on the ignorance of "a certain group of people".
Miriam revealed that Real had suggested that they go for a health checkup together but she was not able to make it due to work obligations. The singer said that it was a good thing that she wasn't there, or the media might twist the report further.
The singer was puzzled as to how the media obtained news of her husband's examination. She pointed out that a body-check is very personal and should be made privy to only relevant medical personnel. The singer then proceeded to blast the hospital for their lack of professionalism.
Commenting on the magazine's claim that the couple had been unsuccessful in their baby-making attempts, Miriam said, "How would the media know that we have not been working hard? We just haven't given it our best!"
Miriam also emphasized that their baby-making plan is going according to plan, stating that after her work completes, she will be going on leave during Chinese New Year.
The singer is currently taking Chinese medicine to condition her body and help prepare it for pregnancy.
