Recently, Cecilia Cheung was rumored to be pregnant again. A magazine article describes that grandma Deborah Lai has a cold attitude towards the news. The articles states that Deborah confided to friends that she will cut herself off from Cecilia’s new child. Lately, Deborah has been pursued by reporters hounding her for interviews. She feels tired and tormented. She needed to go see a psychologist. Deborah could not withstand the pressure and decided to pursue legal action. She hopes to be protected by a restraining order. She reiterates that Nicholas and Cecilia have their own family now. If there is anything to respond to, they are the ones that will talk about it. So, stop asking her questions. She will now seal her lips and not respond anymore. She is damned if she gives a response and damned if she keeps quiet!
Yesterday, Deborah accepted an interview with 查小欣. She made clear that she didn’t confide to her friends about family issues. Anything related to Nicholas and Cecilia’s relationship should be answered by them instead. She doesn’t want to be placed in the spotlight for questions about them having another baby or not, or their marriage problems.
Deborah gave a long sigh about reporters hounding her for such a long time. She feels exhausted and feels like she is being treated like a criminal. She is not sure if she is unlucky this year but is begging for everyone to leave her alone. She wants to be able to go back being normal and happy. She doesn’t want to be cornered. She says the most painful thing is being framed for something that she didn’t say or do. Deborah doesn’t want to cause any misunderstanding.
News reports are available to the world now. She doesn’t want to hurt her relationship with her family. So she is handing it over to the lawyers. She listened to their legal advice about obtaining a restraining order. She doesn’t mind spending money to go to court. Then Deborah discussed how she is becoming mentally unwell from the constant media hounding. She has already gone to the psychologist for a couple of session. She is in pain from the pressure and tears are coming from her heart.
Lately, there are cases of influenza (avian). Did you make any preparation for your grandson Lucas? She said that Lucas is being cared for by his parents. She won’t add her opinion about it and rather happily talk about the Olympics. She revealed that she is prepared to leave to avoid all the stress.
