Gillian Chung Rumoured to have wanted to Commit Suicide for nude pictures scandal,

Ever since the shock release of erotic images featuring celebrities made headlines, those involved, including Twin’s member, Gillian Chung, Bobo Chan, Cecilia Cheung and Edison Chen have not to be seen. Out of the three females, people have been most concerned about Gillian’s welfare. Since the existence of these photos were made public, Gillian cancelled all work, citing illness as the reason she needs to rest at home. During the past days, as the public’s attention on the case magnified, Gillian is rumoured to have wanted to commit suicide and has been spending her days weeping at home.

On Friday, EEG executives decided to cancel Gillian’s performance at EEG’s Chinese New Year Eve countdown music show, replacing her with Vincy Chan and Yumiko. As for Charlene Choi, she will perform Twins’ sections on her own. It is unknown when Gillian will return to work but EEG has confirmed that Twins’ concert in April will still go on. It has also been planned that after Chinese New Year, at the end of February or start of March, a press conference will be held.
