oey Yung openly discusses her relationship with Denise Ho

Cantopop singer Joey Yung's love life had always come under media and public scrutiny.

Joey, who has been in showbiz for 10 years, had always had tongues wagging about her intimate relationship with fellow female singer Denise Ho, whose sexual orientation is dubious.

Joey and Denise had known each other for 12 years and had deeply influenced each other in areas like hobbies and fashion.



Denise, who is well-known for her androgynous style, once said, "In this era, we shouldn't consider one's sexual orientation. Some people became homosexual, after trying marriage."

"Love is great and should not be bounded by gender issues. I don't find homosexual relationships unusual," Joey agreed, supporting Denise's statement.

Joey admitted that she and Denise have matching personalities.

"She inspired my life and work. Denise definitely influenced me to become braver and taught me to be firm in my beliefs," she said.

Throughout the years, the public's attention was on the pair's ambiguous relationship with each other.

Commenting on that, Joey asked in return, "There's no need to make a mountain out of a molehill. Has this [rumour] affected my career? All that matter is that I'm still releasing albums and holding concerts."

The singer expressed that she did not mind people saying she's with Denise.

"I want to find someone, whom I can share my daily musings with. I've never thought of marriage. It's enough if our hearts are together. I'll treasure that," Joey said.
