According to a Hong Kong tabloid magazine, while Leon was attending a fashion show in Beijing on September 15, Gaile secretly packed a few boxes from her house, including pictures, champagne and other personal artifacts, before heading to a warehouse in Kwun Tong Industrial Area in a seven-seater SUV.
After moving her belongings to the warehouse, the 31-year-old model gathered a few of her female friends and had drinks with them at a nightclub. That night, the model was seen with her head down looking troubled, and did not return home till late.
An insider revealed, "The couple is not as loving as they used to be. Leon was unable to accompany Gaile most of the time, so she would constantly go out with her friends to talk about her problems."
Responding to claims that rumours of their marriage meltdown is a marketing tactic to promote his concert in December, Leon expressed, "I don't need Gaile to help with promotions. I just hope there will be more entertainment news in Hong Kong!"
In an attempt to save his marriage and make Gaile happy, it is said that Leon secretly set up a new company in May to support his wife's business.
