The first episode of TVB old time classic creativity "A Chip Off The Old Block" was broadcast on Monday. The storyline described that Chor Fan (Sunny Chan) did not get along with his son Chor Chee (Ron Ng). When Chor Chee was trapped in the elevator, the time went back to 1960 when he met his father and his old neighbors. After watching the first episode, netizen accused TVB of copying 1993's move "He ain't Heavy, he's my father". According to the netizen, the storyline and the characters Ron and Sunny play are very similar to the role Tony Leung Ka Fai (father) and Tony Leung Chui Wai (son) played, even Sunny's name as Chor Fan is the same. They also use "Man for me, and I for all" as the catch phrase.
The netizen also discovered that when Ron was being caned by Sunny in the first episode, his right hand was bandaged instead of his left hand when he was wounded by the thief.
