Andy Lau has no intention to become a politician

Andy Lau is the Paralympic ambassador. He is still in Beijing supporting the game. He will be staying there for 11 days. He had a telephone interview with Candy Chea from "Happy Daily" newspaper yesterday. He was asked what he thought about him being voted as the most suitable councillor by the internet users. Andy laughed "I don't know anything about politics or the legislative council. To find somebody who is passionate but not be to deliver would lead to people being disappointed. I think I had better stay put to be a good artist. The work of the legislative council would be better run by the professionals."
