Picture: Gigi is busy looking after her brother's clinic
Gigi Lai attended a fund raising event yesterday. It was a charity book sales for Sichuen Earthquake Appeal. She had donated a religious book called "Stream in the Desert" (荒漠甘泉) for the charity.
That book was given to her by one of the congregations. Since Gigi's brother had his accident, Gigi had become a Christian. She disclosed "when I visit my brother, I read a chapter to him. In fact we have done half of the book already." Gigi revealed that her brother had past the critical stage and is on the road to recovery." He can eat now and he is getting better. But it will be a while before he can walk again."
Gigi is having some time off from filming at the moment, she is busy looking after her brother's clinic. She is hoping she can start filming again next year.
