Stephanie Cheng attended a press conference for an upcoming charity concert in July yesterday. When asked about her commission for the concert,Stephanie expressed that she will not be receiving any pay for being an performance guest for the concert.
Apart from singing 2 of her songs,Stephanie will sing alongside with a famous handicap artist Christina Wong.It was the first time Stephanie Cheng met Christina,she said that Christina had left a deep impression on her. "Although she is blind, she has got strong will power,i respected her very much despite the fact that she is handicap,she had contributed much of her art pieces to charity."
One section of the concert is dedicated to the earthquake victims in Sichuan ,asked if Stephanie Cheng had donated money to help? Stephanie Cheng honestly denied that she had made monetary donations,but she is planning to adopt 10 orphans whom had lost parents during that disaster.
3 years ago,Stephanie Cheng had adopted 2 orphans in Hong Kong,adding these 10 to be adopted children,she will be the mother of 12 orphans. Asked if she will feel weird by being the mother of 12 children at such young age,Stephanie Cheng insisted that she will be their elder sister instead.
The charity concert will take place at The Hong Kong Academy For Performing Arts during the 26th and 27th of next month.
