Kelly Chen Kicks Off Concert

Last night, Kelly Chen kicked off her six-day concert 《Love Fighters演唱會08》. This was the first time in more than three years that Kelly performed at the HK Colisseum. Kelly's concert will be the last one at the Colisseum before renovations take place.

Though the weather has recently been unstable at night with loud thunder and lightning, Kelly's fans still poured in with great passion and the seats became full. Including those in the crowd were Priscilla Chan and Eddie Ng who came to support Kelly.

Wearing a Napoleonic hat and sporting a futuristic silver look, Kelly appeared onstage on an armored tank surrounded by a number of dancers dressed up in medieval samurai armor, creating a very high atmosphere. Kelly sang the concert theme song 《主打愛》 to kick off the night's events.

Before the concert, Kelly attended a worship ceremony with her manager, make-up artists, and hair stylist. More than 30 fans chanted for Kelly's successful concert. Kelly excitedly gave a thumbs-up and shouted "Good Show!" as well.

Kelly also sold photos, posters, etc. with the proceeds to be donated to the "Kelly Chen Children's Education Fund." As for the earlier relief for the earthquake victims in Sichuan, Kelly has donated 300,000 yuan, with the concert's organizers also donating 300,000 yuan, totaling 600,000 yuan for the disaster relief.
