Sammi Becomes one of the host for 27th HKFA with Dodo Cheng & Sandra Ng
Sammi will be challenging herself by being one of the host at tonight's 27th HKFA together with Dodo Cheng and Sandra Ng. She hopes she will remember all the script and everything goes smoothly. Sammi revealed that she is very scared and initially, she needs to handle many sections of the show however she later requests for lesser responsibility as she is unable to follow the pace of both Dodo and Sandra. Her legs were shaking when they were rehearsing but both of them were very supportive. She also thanked the organisor for risking by letting her to be one of the host. Sammi said that being a host is one of the things that she is very scared of. During the time when she was shooting <新地任你點>, luckily Yuen Siu Cheung was there to help her.
Sammi was not sponsored any clothes for the night but she got her designer to come up with 2 designs. When asked if it was a sacrifice to pay for her own clothes, she said it does not matter as her designer gave her a discount. when told that Dodo and Sandra may be wearing low sexy clothes, she laughed and said that her clothes will not be too sexy. She joked that their clothes is better to be "lower" while hers will be better if it is "higher". She don't hope for any outstanding performance, instead hope she won't spoil things and everything will go smoothly.
For this year's nominees, Sammi hopes that 斯琴高娃 will win the Best Actress while Ann Hui will win the Best Director. As for the Best Actor award, she hopes good friend Andy Lau will win; follow by Chow Yun Fatt winning the Supporting Actor award.
During the World Vision Laos Trip Press Conference, Sammi said that she hopes to visit cold places and hopes to visit Mongolia. She is not worried that the trip is tough as she is currently very fit.
