Gillian Chung, whose reputation has been severely damaged by the celebrity sex image scandal, has been organised to face the media again after her holiday. A soon as her management company, EEG, announced this, rumours immediately began to surface, with reports of her holidaying with her new lover, Juno Mak, going to Thailand to seek help from the White Dragon King and finally, some have said that EEG has decided to give up on her and so, have put her on holiday.
Yesterday, fellow Twins member, Charlene Choi attended the opening ceremony of the ‘3rd Annual Hong Kong Music Fair’. The actress-singer disclosed that she has been keeping in contact with Gillian everyday and that Gillian is yet to leave Hong Kong. In regards to the rumours of Gillian going to seek help from the White Dragon King, Charlene refused to comment and called for people not to keep guessing.
Due to Juno’s recent vague blog entries, many have been predicting that the two are currently holidaying together and that Juno has received a present from Gillian. About this, Charlene pleaded Juno to help out by writing in more detail on his blog, she commented, “If he could write in a bit more detail, hopefully people will be able to clearly understand it. Do not make people guess because I’ll have to do all the answering and it is making me tired!” On the subject of EEG telling Gillian to take a break, causing Twins to split, Charlene was asked if she will be recording the next album alone. To this, Charlene replied firmly that she will be standing strongly beside Gillian and will only begin music work when Gillian returns. Charlene then revealed that Twins are half way through recording their new album and so, Gillian is definitely not on ‘long leave’.
In concern with Isabella Leong suddenly disappearing after being rumoured to be romantically linked to Richard Li, son of Hong Kong tycoon, Li Ka-Shing, EEG has released a statement, which has been questioned by the media. When asked about this, Charlene refused to make any comment because she has not read any news reports on this but exclaimed that she has too many things to take care of at the moment and so, she cannot involve herself with Isabella’s problems.
