Sammul Chan resisted earning RMB because of TVB

Yesterday Sammul Chan and Leung Kakei were filming The Academy 3 in Sau Kei Wan. It was a scene on how they met. As the plot continues, Kakei will eventually become Sammul’s wife! The scene yesterday was along the storyline that Sammul bought the last set of breakfast, but Kakei wished to buy one set for her mother too, so she requested Sammul to let her have it. During the filming, many onlookers surrounded them and requested to take photos with them, the two of them tried to play with a baby, but the baby wasn’t too responsive.

Sammul disclosed that The Academy 3 will be filming till June, however his previously-filmed mainland series The Last Princess has achieved high ratings in the mainland, hence the relevant parties wish him to attend promotional activities in the mainland in April. ‘According to sources, the series was very popular. The ratings even broke the records of Jewel in the Palace and Pearl Princess. It also has the highest ratings among the series airing at the same time period.’

After finishing filming TA3, TVB has another ancient series hoping Sammul can participate in. ‘Although there are another two mainland series offering me roles, TVB stands a higher chance, because the role is quite challenging, I can’t say what it is now, but it’s something like one person acting two different roles.'
