Leila Tong always gives people a sense of being care free and lively, but this year she has to change all that to becoming more "serious" to fit her character in her new series. As for New Year wishes, Leila expressed that all she hopes is to be healthy for the next year. Having experience in the movie, music, and series industry, Leila's New Year wish is only to stay healthy. "I'm always sick! When flying around I usually get sick. The worst when I threw up a lot. That time I was sick for a long time, I was suddenly hungry at night so I went around to find some food to cook...who knew after that I got really dizzy and the started throwing up. I was sick for the rest of the day, so now I'm more careful about what I eat."
Leila's currently filming the TVB series "盛世仁杰" and unfortunately she only has 2 days of break during the Chinese New Year Holiday. She laughed that she will use these days wisely, "Besides having a New Years Dinner with my family, I also have to memorize lines! Although I really hate memorizing stuff, but because in this series, the dialogue is long and difficult to remember, so I really have to keep practicing. I need to keep reminding myself not to play too much during the New Year. Its really hard to get into character with all the festivities around me."
