Edison Chen has been involved in the scandal photos incident. Miriam and Edison are God siblings and belong to the same artiste management company.
When she returned from Japan at Hong Kong International Airport together with her manager, over 10 fans already waited for her with a birthday cake and presents. When Miriam saw the reporters she wasn't very surprised and looked relaxed. When reporters asked her about the scandal photos, Miriam replied, "Don't know! (Did you look for Edison?) I went to Japan after Shanghai and didn't even read any news! (You are his Godsister and had rumors with him before, are you afraid of getting involved?) Not clear! (Did you look for Bobo Chan?) I don't know anything, I haven't read!" But reporters have been making overseas call to Miriam's manager when they were in Japan to ask about Edison, so it seems strange now that Miriam claims she don't know about the development.
