EEG's two-disc Excellence 08 compilation comes with 17 hit songs from the past year. Joey Yung's karaoke ballad "Zero Hour, Zero Minute" (Track 1) leads into a great selection of songs including Joey's "Lesson with Every Love" (Track 8), Anthony Wong's "Venice" (Track 9), Twins' "You're Not a Good Lover" (Track 12), Jeff Chang's "Quiet Snow" (Track 7), and Vincy Chan's "Tired for a Moment" (Track 13). Last year's newcomer hits like Ken Hung's "Gutless Love" (Track 6), Sherman Chung's "Hug Well" (Track 5), and Raymond Lam's "Fond of Searching For You in Memories" (Track 2) can also be found on the compilation. Closing things out is "Always in My Heart" (Track 17), a duet from veteran George Lam and Teresa Carpio.
The DVD comes with the music videos for all 17 songs.
