Chilam Cheung Won’t Film Series With Wife

GUCCI specially launched a limited accessory collection called “8-8-2008” to celebrate the 2008 Beijing Olympics. The jewelry collection includes watch, bicycle, handbags, mahjong set, and others. The entire collection used the colour red as the theme because it is the Chinese colour for celebration. Bernice Liu and Chilam Cheung were wearing clothes of the “Gucci Looking” style for the event.

The reporter said that Chilam had a “black face” when he was at a birthday party with his son Morton*. Chilam laughed and said that the children at the party were very cute and it was a happy party. Chilam works in mainland China in recent years. He expressed that he may film a series for TVB this year. But he would not work with wife, Anita Yuen, as a husband-wife duo. Chilam explained: “I haven’t filmed a TVB series for three or four years. I want to use Cantonese to film a series. I would have no problems filming the series in HD. Even though work is work, it is best not to do a husband-wife duo. Firstly, it is easier to have arguments and secondly, husband-wife duo’s effect is not good historically.” Chilam joked that he won’t budge even if the pay is very high for it. Some people wanted the entire family of three for a project but he responded that it was lame to decline the offer.

Bernice said that she wanted to recommend herself to TVB to join the Olympic program in Beijing. This way she can use that opportunity to her brother, who is working there, with her parents. She said: “This Olympic is a special event for the Chinese people. I really want to be a part of the Olympic related programs. I also want to visit my brother. It is hard for the entire family to be together. I really treasure the time when the family is together!”
