The promotion for i-cable's new food show 'Mei Lik Chiu Yan' was held yesterday, invited guest present included Michelle Ye and Guk Dak Chiu. Michelle Ye and Guk Dak Chiu competed in ping pong, and a bet was made where the loser needs to treat the winner to abalone. In the end, Michelle won and Guk agreed to spend Michelle to abalone next week. Michelle claimed she was just average in sports, she goes hiking more, she believed Guk intentionally let her win this time.

Going back to hometown for Chinese New Year

Michelle expressed that she has three days of leave for the Chinese New Year this year, she will go back to her hometown, Hangzhou to celebrate with her grandparents, she will buy some 'lingzhi' (reishi mushroom) for them. When asked if she worries her two elderly will rush her to get married, Michelle smiled saying she is not worried because they never restrict her age to get married. When asked about her love relationship, Michelle claimed that she is currently dating her career. When asked about the drastic fall in stock market causing lots to suffer losses, Michelle claimed the affect on her is minor. She feels women should invest in properties, and not spend (money) on clothes or buying shares, she has properties both in Hong Kong and Hangzhou.

Michelle Ye and Guk Tak Chiu had a battle yesterday, with 3000 HKD and a pair of lucky abalone at bet, they competed in ping pong. Michelle won in the end, she smiled saying when she comes again for the filming next week, she will wait to eat abalone. Michelle who has always has ways of making fortune when asked about the recent undulation of stock market, she admitted: "Stock market is not suitable for me, I only concentrate on acting. (Any investment?) Buying houses, recently Hong Kong citizens are buying properties, but I can't tell you how many (I bought). I feel that it's better to just buy properties for women, even jewelry is not suitable for me." Actually, besides investing in Hong Kong, Michelle also has some properties back in her home town, Hangzhou, allowing her grandparents to live comfortably, she can be said to have a small fortune.

As Chinese New Year is approaching, Michelle is allowed three days of leave, she plans to go back to Hangzhou to visit her relatives, and will also bring some tonic products for her grandparents: "I'll be happier if I can spend New Year with my family. (Will they rush you into marriage?) No, they know I prioritize my career first. I think it will be quite some time before I get married, too busy now, I don't even have the time to think (about it), I'm dating with my career."
