Lydia Sum's Family Made Decision to turn her off life support after she tearfully bids ex husband Adam goodbye

After Lydia Sum's death, people have been most curious as to what Lydia's last words were, the information relating to her funeral matters and the inheritance she left behind. Yesterday, her daughter Joyce Cheng held a press conference to provide the media and public with the details relating to her mother's funeral. Reporters at the press conference found out that Lydia had not left any last words for her fans, the reason being that time and her suffering did not permit for her to do that as her family members decided to turn her off life support to end her suffering.

One of Lydia's best friends, Florence Chan also addressed the media and expressed that Lydia, like any other human being, likes to look good and has left instructions not to publish pictures of her appearance when she is at her death bed or after she has passed on. It is Lydia's wish that the people of Hong Kong remember her always as happy and prosperous looking and not pitifully sickly looking.

According to media reports, just before Lydia turned critically ill, she seemed sober for an instant and seemed to know that she was going to depart from this world very soon. She instructed her daughter Joyce to made a call to her ex husband, Adam Cheng who was away filming in China and the two of them tearfully bid each other goodbye. It is a real pity that Lydia was unable to see her ex husband and only man in her life for the last time before she passed on.

More media reports revealed that Adam Cheng is currently filming "书剑恩仇录" in Zhejiang, China and was hence unable to rush back in time to be by Lydia's side when her illness took a turn for the worse.
