Wednesday October 8, 2014 Hong Kong
Source: https://my.entertain...-062100837.html
Actress Kenix Kwok recently denied that she is overwhelming her daughter with too many curricular and extra-curricular activities.
As reported on HK Channel, previously, it was reported that the actress and husband Frankie Lam have been taking their 4-year-old daughter Tania to various classes.
Aside from attending two kindergartens - the Christ Church Kindergarten in the morning, and St Catherine's International Kindergarten in the afternoon, Tania also has to attend various enrichment classes, including figure skating, singing, drawing, dancing, and piano.
Overall, it was reported that the actress spends around HKD 10,000 (USD 12,895) on Tania's education alone.
However, despite the criticism, Kenix does not believe that she is putting too much pressure on Tania.
On her Weibo, she wrote, "Don't worry. I will not force Tania to do something that she doesn't like."
Regarding the two kindergartens, Kenix said that they sent her to both to see which one is more suitable for her. However, Tania unexpectedly loved both, thus they decided to let her enjoy it.
The actress stressed that she and her husband emphasise on a healthy development of their child, and asked the public not to judge them based on mere reports.

Frankie Lam Does Not Mind if wife Kenix Kwok gets Plastic Surgery
Saturday November 3, 2012 Hong Kong

Frankie Lam, Felix Wong and his daughter Adrian Wong, Sek Sau, Dominic Lam and Leila Tong attended at the CTI promotion event. The making of clips for CTI's 12 series were shown at the event. Audience got to play games with the artists and win prizes as well. Dominic laughed: "Our prizes, each one is about HK$2,000, it won't be some doll." Apparently, Dominic was indirectly mocking the TVB's TV Buddy doll. Sek Sau was asked if there are any differences between CTI and other TV stations? He said: "I won't talk about the past, I just look at the present and the future."
Frankie is currently busy shooting Three Faced Doctor, where he portrays a plastic surgeon. It is suspected that the series plagiarized American drama series Nip/Tuck? Frankie said he feels very good after joining CTI. The new company has the motivation to demonstrate a new technique in the history of HK television. He does not believe that there will be plagiarism involved. He said he personally does not oppose to plastic surgery, and can accept small fixes. He said: "I've done some homework at the beauty salon. According to my research, botox isn't too painful, but they said I don't have to get it done yet." When asked if he accepts his wife Kenix Kwok getting plastic surgery? He said: "I have to see what she's doing, something big won't be necessary."
Ha Yu and Paw Hee Ching are joining CTI March 2013, Felix expressed he is excited to work with them. He said he couldn't believe he can meet them again after so many years and he's currently enjoying his work at CTI. He has confidence that CTI will be able to get their license next year.

Frankie Lam and Kenix Kwok's daughter named ‘Tian Ruo’ 「天若」

Since becoming parents in January of this year, Frankie Lam and Kenix Kwok have focused all of their attention on their newborn daughter. Yesterday, Frankie accepted an interview with Eileen Cha’s radio show. He revealed that he and his wife have already decided on the Chinese name 「林天若」 for their daughter: “It’s taken from the Chinese phrase ‘天若有情’ [TN: translated as ‘supposing there is love in Heaven’]. I feel that the name sounds very gentle and pleasing to the ears, plus there aren’t a lot of people with this name.”
Frankie admits that he is the ‘benevolent father’ type of parent and can’t bear to see his daughter cry, so whenever she does, he does everything he can to calm / appease her. Frankie says: “Day before yesterday, I had gone out briefly and when I returned home, Kenix told me that our daughter was fussy and cried for 45 minutes. She told me not to be heart-broken when I heard about it.” (Seeing how much you love your daughter, are you afraid Kenix will be jealous?) “No, she won’t – both of them are my treasures.” Frankie smiled and said that one day, he told his daughter that when she grows up and attends a Christmas Party, she needs to let him know where she is going – he won’t go disturb her, but he will observe from afar to make sure she is safe. (When Kenix heard this, did she say that you are crazy?) Frankie replied: “I just want to make sure my daughter doesn’t get bullied.”
Kelly Chan once said that she would encourage her son Chace (nicknamed ‘Little Shrimp Dumpling’) to pursue Frankie’s daughter when they grow up. To this, Frankie replied: “We want to give the next generation some amount of freedom when it comes to future relationships. Little Chace is definitely very cute – when they grow up and have the opportunity to interact with each other, then we’ll know whether it will blossom into a ‘Tian Ruo/Shrimp Dumpling’ romance!”

Devotes time to baby girl; Frankie Lam rejects work proposals Saturday January 16, 2010 Hong Kong Rate Topic: #1 casablanca--
MingPao reports]
Kenix Kwok recently gave birth to a baby girl on January 14th, with mother and daughter both in stable condition. The baby girl is very cute, weighing in at 7.48lbs, and is likened to Kenix. Frankie Lam announced the good news to media personally yesterday, and the new father could hardly conceal his pride and excitement. He expressed that his wife, daughter and himself are now a "three in one" unit, and in his heart, no one can replace their spots.
Frankie held a press conference at Canossa Hospital in Hong Kong yesterday, saying, "We are still deciding on our baby's name, the physiognomist offered many names for us to choose from. I never knew choosing a great name was so hard!"
Hasn't decided on baby's name, wife recovers quickly
Frankie revealed that his wife's health is in good condition, and the doctor praised his wife's speedy recovery. How are you going to award your wife? "I already awarded her once before she gave birth, but of course now I will satisfy her every desire. Now we are a "three in one" unit, it's definitely the biggest and best present I have received since my own birth!"
Did you have tears of joy the moment your daughter was born? "When my wife was pregnant, I already read numerous books about the moment of birth, so I was very prepared in terms of welcoming the new child. When my wife went into labour, she told me that having been pregnant for so long, the baby felt like a part of her, and was a bit reluctant to let her out. That was a pretty defining moment. I entered the birthing room with her, witnessed the moment of birth, and it was very inspiring, very miraculous. It made me feel like nothing was more important than this child's birth, no one can replace their spots."
Wishes for a son as well
Frankie has already cancelled all upcoming work proposals for the next two months, devoting his time entirely to taking care of his wife. "We are new hands at this, we need to get used to learning how to take care of babies, so I need to spent more time next to them. I will definitely not accept drama series, maybe one to two day work assignments at most. If I have to leave my wife and child alone for too long, I will definitely not accept it!" He further expressed that his wants to give a little brother to his daughter, but that will all depend on Kenix's health. He and his wife both agree that one more child would be perfect.

When asked about the differences in ratings, she replied "Ratings are a matter of timing, preferences and viewership. The cast was very strong and extensive, what matters is that everyone was happy." But comments that are meant to verbally abuse the actor, I wont care." She mentions that her husband after watching the scene also had a big reaction, "下!溯咋!" making her laugh.

Kenix Kwok is having a girl by Caesarean Section next February

Kenix Kwok is 5 months pregnant and the ultra sound showed that it is going to be a girl. She is having the baby delivered by Caesarean Section next February. Kenix attended TVB publicity and charity gala for "Born Rich" yesterday, wearing a 4 inches high heel shoes. Since husband Frankie is not in the cast, he was not there to look after her. When Kenix arrived at the gala, she was being spoilt by many colleagues. First one to take her hand was her senior Lau Siu Ming, followed by director Chong Wai Kin who took a chair out for her to sit down when they had a group photo taken. Ray Lui, Joe Ma and Nancy Sit all went up to her to ask how she was. Kenix said she was a bit embarrassed.
Last month when Kenix accepted an interview by MingPao, she was already 4 months pregnant, but the photo showed her looking more like 5-6 months pregnant. Last night, she wore a red dress, but it didn't show her tummy that big. It could be the angle of the picture which was taken last month.
Some cast members were worried about her wearing a 4 inches high heels, in particular, the males who kept reaching out their hands to help her. Kenix explained that she only put on her high heels since she arrived, and she was wearing a pair of flat shoes beforehand. Kenix stressed that her high heels shoes are very stable, and they are very safe. Talking about the changes that she has to make since she is pregnant, Kenix smiled "I put on 10 pounds in weight, and my bra size has gone up one cup. Otherwise, everything is normal. Sometimes I crave for certain food, like if I want to eat cheung fun, I ask Frankie to get it. " (Do you know if its a boy or girl?) The ultra sounds showed it is a girl, and her face is round with a high nose. The doctor said her brain development is very healthy."(Do you like baby girl?) I don't mind, I thank God for carrying a baby.(Wiil Frankie be there when you are in labour?) Sure, I am having a Caesarean Section in February, we have been thinking a few names to call her."
Talking about the rumor that Kenix will retire from the entertainment industry after her delivery, Kenix said "It is hard work in this industry, and it is time consuming too. I don't mind attending any functions or doing some light commercials, but it is hard to tell. You never know what will happy next." For the coming "TV Queen" award, Kenix thought Sheren Tang looks promising.

Frankie Lam and Kenix Kwok: Rumors that their marriage is on the rocks

Frankie Lam and Kenix Kwok met in 1995 when they were working on a TVB series. They got married in 2004. During these few years, there have been numerous reports that their marriage is on the rocks. Yesterday, there was a recorded message from a man on the internet, speaking in Putonhua to someone. He sounded like Wang Zi Kei, Kenix's manager, and confessed that he had a brief affair. He was willing to die to seek help. Another female voice said, "Frankie, please don't." During the conversation, Vicki Tung, a mainland actress, was mentioned.
The media heard about the recorded messages, and tried to contact the two, but did not get any response from them. Kenix's manager expressed that Frankie and Kenix are having a press conference due to this rumor. They will clarify the whole thing, but they will not accept any interviews. Speaking about the the mainland actress, Vicki, she had worked with Frankie on a TV series in 2007, "Morning nine to none". The press conference by Kenix and Frankie aims to set the facts straight that Frankie did not have an affair with Vicki Tung.

Frankie Lam Cheated on Kenix Kwok and Threatened Suicide?
Kenix Kwok Ho Ying and Frankie Lam Man Lung’s marriage took on a rocky turn with the recent alleged third party involvement of maianland actress, Vicki Dong. A Hong Kong tabloid magazine recently received a CD-ROM containing excerpts of recorded phone conversations with speakers that closely resemble Frankie and Kenix’s voices in discussion over Frankie’s affair. Kenix’s manager, Wang T.C. Chang, said that a statement will be issued shortly to address the recent rumors.
Frankie’s Affair Surfaced; Contemplated Suicide
Often perceived by the public as the ideal couple, Kenix and Frankie have been married for 5 years. Over the years, numerous marriage discord rumors have surfaced, which the couple denied each time. However, perhaps the rumors did not surface without reason. This Friday, a Hong Kong tabloid magazine uploaded one hour sound clips of Kenix and Frankie’s alleged conversations over the affair online. The clips contain various excerpts from conversations recorded over a span of several months. In one of the conversations, a speaker resembling Frankie admitted to Kenix’s manager that he had an affair and contemplated suicide.
In one of the conversations, Frankie asked Kenix’s manager, Wang T.C. Chang, “You've seen those photos of Vicki Dong and I together. What kind of photos are they?" Wang replied, "They are normal photos of you and Vicki in a bedroom. I asked Vicki if she had photographed the pictures and she said no. The photos are not [incriminating nor racy], but Kenix would be very unhappy if she saw them.”
In a frustrated voice, Frankie said to T.C. Chang, "I do not know why Miss Dong told you about our relationship. Are you able to persuade Miss Dong to give you the photographs? If I can not clear up this issue, I will swallow two bottles of sleeping pills!" [Frankie hinted at committing suicide.]
After a short pause, Frankie said “Yesterday, I was honest with Kenix and told her that I was involved with Vicki Dong for a short period of time. I am sure to face the consequences of this. When I became involved with Vicki, Kenix and I were at the most unhappiest point in our marriage.”
In the recording, T. C. Chang told Frankie, "One day, we were at a bar. Suddenly Vicki Dong cried and asked me whether I knew Kenix Kwok. I said yes and she asked about Kenix and your relationship. Afterwards, Vicki said, ‘At one time, I was involved with Frankie Lam.’”
The Root Cause of Marriage Discord: Frankie Does Not Earn Enough Money
Frankie and Kenix both appeared at the premiere of the newly re-edited version of "Ashes of Time" 《東邪西毒》 earlier this year. But rumors of the pair’s marriage discord surfaced in late 2008. In the last two years, Frankie has suffered declining popularity and was no longer a strong pillar at TVB. As a result, Frankie had to field Kenix’s frequent complaints.
In a sound clip, Frankie said, "Everyday, Kenix complained why I did not accept a new filming project. She complained about many things. It is not because I did not look for work, however I did not come across anything suitable. I am not the boss and can not call the shots to start a multi-million project. Originally, there was discussion about filming and ad, but the contract fell through the last minute.”
Frankie also revealed that his living expenses with Kenix were extremely high and there were many economic constraints. He did not have any dignity at home and often needed Kenix’s approval for many things. In fact, since the pair started acting in the industry, Kenix’s money making ability always exceeded Frankie. In 2008, although Kenix did not film any series, she took on several modeling projects and still made more money than Frankie.
Latest Developments
Apparently, Kenix was aware of Frankie’s affair with Vicki Dong. There were also rumors that she was three months pregnant and very angry at Frankie. However, to make a living, Kenix filmed TVB’s recent series, “Born Rich.” Earlier, reporters spotted Kenix shopping by herself at a Causeway Bay shop. She wore a brand-name dress and carried a luxury Hermes handbag. She arrived at Causeway Bay to buy some discount street fashion and her facial expression appeared pale and sad. After paying for the merchandise, Kenix’s assistant carried the bags for her. Afterwards, Kenix quickly entered a car and left.
Another source said that Kenix and Frankie have already separated. Allegedly, Kenix’s manager, T.C. Chang will address the public with any press questions.
Rising mainland actress, Vicki Dong, hosted several television programs such as 《娛樂在綫》. Recently, she appeared in dramas such as 《錯愛II》,《來電奇緣》, and 《朝九晚無》. In 2007, while filming 《朝九晚無》in Shanghai, Vicki met and fell in love with Frankie Lam.
In Vicki’s personal blog entry dated October 5, 2008, she wrote about her perspective on love, “Whether it is good or bad, the most important thing is to know the truth.” In an October 20th entry, Vicki watched the movie "Sex and the City," upon a friend’s recommendation. The film apparently resonated with Vicki, “During heart break, my mind was filled with images of ‘Mr. Wrong’ and his past.” It appears that Vicki experienced a period of emotional trauma at the time.

Scandalous Rumors Grow; Kenix Kwok Cheated on Frankie Lam Too?
Thursday June 11, 2009 Hong Kong
Article Excerpt from: Sudden Weekly
Credits: to Jayne @ http://www.jaynestars.com
“As for my husband’s [infidelity], I have already committed the same wrong-doing a lot of times in the past. Please don’t tell my husband about my relationship with XXX.” – The female voice was found to resemble Kenix Kwok, confiding in Wang T.C. Chang in a private phone recording.
**
Last Thursday, on May 28th, Sudden Weekly received a shocking voice recording which alluded to Frankie Lam Man Lung having an affair with mainland actress, Vicky Dong. In the voice recording, a male voice resembling Frankie’s admitted to the affair and threatened suicide, while pleading with Kenix’s mainland representative, Wang T.C. Chang, to help him in the matter. In the tape, Frankie alluded that Kenix was 3 months pregnant. In another sound clip, a voice resembling Kenix’s said that she will not forgive Frankie that easily.
In response to the tabloid rumors, Kenix and Frankie held a press conference on May 30th. The couple said that their marriage was stable and denied that Vicky Dong was a third party. Kenix and Frankie did not allow the media to ask any questions at the press conference. The couple did not say whether they were the speakers featured in the voice clips. They also did not address the infidelity rumors directly. Kenix clarified that T.C. Chang was not her mainland manager, who has also tried to blackmail the couple. The blackmail case has been filed with authorities in China and Hong Kong and T.C. Chang is currently under investigation.
In the CD-ROM that Sudden Weekly received last week, another scandalous conversation clip was included. A female voice resembling Kenix Kwok admitted that she had cheated on her husband [Frankie] with a well-known male singer, who was also married. Although rumors surfaced earlier that Frankie had cheated in their marriage, perhaps Kenix may have done the same!
K= Voice resembling Kenix Kwok
T= Voice resembling T.C. Chang
K: “My husband [Frankie Lam] realized his mistake was appalling, thus he can not even forgive himself now.”
T: “Ho Ying, you really should forgive this kind of thing [infidelity]. I hope you don’t mind me saying this. A mainland actor, Wong YY told me that you were involved with XXX [insert famous Hong Kong male singer’s name, who is also married]. You also cheated in the relationship and even earlier than Frankie!”
K: “I also questioned myself. I had also committed Man Lung’s mistake many times in the past. However, people are selfish. Please don’t tell Frankie about my relationship with XXX.”
T: “No, of course not, I didn’t.”
From the sound clips, it can be deduced that the woman resembling Kenix Kwok’s voice had cheated on her husband numerous times. However, she did not say when she was involved with the singer mentioned in the recording, or whether the affair was still on-going.
[Although Sudden Weekly did not print the full name of the male singer, the tabloid] hinted that he is a married man with a child [or children]. The man had a tumultuous career, but he is currently an extremely popular singer in the music industry.
Hacken Lee Refused to Comfort Kenix
Once romantically linked with Kenix, Hacken Lee was contacted by Sudden Weekly on June 1st, when Frankie’s infidelity rumors first broke. At the time Hacken said he will not console Kenix, "This is another couple’s business, it is inappropriate for me to comment.”
On June 2nd, Sudden Weekly waited outside Hacken’s home and wanted to ask him about the voice clip in which Kenix admitted she was involved with a Hong Kong singer. Hacken returned home in his agent’s car and upon spotting reporters, immediately rolled up the [car] curtains. The vehicle disappeared inside the building garage.
Aside from being friendly with Hacken, Kenix was also good friends with Alan Tam Wing Lun. In her personal blog, Kenix said that both Alan and herself were "food incinerators." Kenix posted a photo of herself, where she was seen eating a crab feast while wearing a bathrobe in a hotel room.
Married Male Singers Refuse to Comment
Kenix and Frankie have been married for 5 years, in which multiple infidelity rumors persisted over the years. Kenix often had rumors with her co-stars, such as Michael Tao Dai Yu, Joe Ma Tak Chung, and Chilam Cheung. One of the more recent rumors circulated in 2006, which alluded that Kenix had been secretly involved with Hacken Lee for the past 4 years.
Each time these type of rumors circulated, Kenix and Frankie would make a joint public appearance to deny them. Regarding Frankie’s affair with Vicky Dong, allegedly Frankie intended to admit the affair at the press conference. However, Kenix did not want Frankie to acknowledge the affair and thus the couple reportedly had an intensive argument the night before.
Regarding Kenix’s alleged involvement with a Hong Kong singer, reporters contacted Eason Chan. Eason’s manager, Chan Ka Ying, said, "There is no contact between Eason and Kenix. Eason only knows Kenix as a TVB actress. Also there is a big age difference between them; there are no feelings between them. It is just impossible!” Sudden Weekly also tried to contact Jacky Cheung Hok Yau, Alan Tam Wing Lun, Hacken Lee and Chilam Cheung without any success.
On May 14th, T.C. Wang wrote on her blog about a Hong Kong celebrity couple “L” and “K”, who appeared to have a good marriage. However, husband L flirted with many co-stars around him. While filming “Virtues of Harmony,” L was involved with actress C. During the filming of “Armed Reaction,” L flirted with actress A. However, L’s wife, K was also involved with other men. Before T.C. Wang could elaborate further on her blog site, she was interrogated by mainland authorities.
On June 2nd, an online radio program, 「 潮 頻 道 」 hosted by Lee Si Pei and Yan Suk Ming (a managed artist under T.C. Wang) revealed that while filming in China in 2007, a Hong Kong actress, “K” and actor “C” re-lit their old romantic sparks. C’s wife was pregnant at the time and requested time-off to accompany his wife during delivery. However, K requested C to remain in China to stay with her instead.
Below is an excerpt of Lee Si Pei and Yan Suk Ming’s program.
Lee= Lee Si Pei
Yan= Yan Suk Ming
Yan: Recently, a production crew member called me to share an interesting incident. While filming in 2007, K and C (well known actresses and actor) were cast as leads in the mainland series. C was K’s ex-lover.
Lee: Is C single or married?
Yan: C is married and his wife also works in the entertainment industry, who is very famous.
Lee: Where was this series filmed? Yan: In mainland. The problem was that C’s wife was pregnant at the time and he had to return to Hong Kong to accompany the baby’s delivery. However, K insisted that C stay with her in mainland. Of course, C made the right decision and decided to return to Hong Kong to be with his wife. K over-estimated her own attraction and her emotions took a bad turn, impacting the entire crew. After filming ending, K and C only attended a press conference once and did not promote the series further.
Aside from revealing the gossip about C and K, Yan Suk Ming also advocated for T.C. Chang. "I am sure that T.C. Chang is not Kenix Kwok’s intermediary (indicating that T.C. Chang was Kenix’s manager instead). However, only the involved parties know all the details. Last year, China had the earthquake in Sichuan, hosted the Olympics and the Paralympics, thus a lot of the entertainment shows and projects were halted. However, my company [with the assistance of T.C. Chang] negotiated a project for Kenix Kwok. Another time, my company received a bid to have Kenix appear at a show. However the venue turned out to be a nightclub, which was different than the previously discussed details. To protect Kenix, our company did not let her perform. The sponsor got angry and hired some men to threaten us. T. C. Chang found some people to help settle the matter immediately. She is a responsible person and treats the artists very well. Therefore, the current [blackmail] allegations against her are very surprising.
However, there were other reports that indicated T.C. Chang manipulated Frankie’s affair with Vicky Dong to blackmail Frankie and Kenix. Apparently, in early 2009, Kenix discovered that T.C. Chang was dishonest and decided to distance their relationship. Realizing Kenix’s intention, T.C. Chang told Frankie that she possessed photographs of Frankie and Vicky Dong together. Allegedly, T.C. Chang also recorded the various conversation clips to blackmail Frankie and Kenix. T.C. Chang demanded tens of thousands of dollars initially, with the total amount nearly a million (HKD). Finally, Frankie and Kenix decided to report the blackmail case and let the mainland and Hong Kong authorities investigate the matter.
Sudden Weekly tried to contact T. C. Chang on June 3rd, but her calls have been disabled. Also Frankie and Kenix’s phone numbers were directly routed to their voice mail.
Frankie’s admission in the conversation clips that he had an affair with Vicky Dong sparked a frenzied discussion on many online forums. Many netizens scolded Frankie and felt sorry for Kenix. There were others that felt it was inappropriate for outside parties to comment on Frankie and Kenix’s marital affairs.
Suspected in a telephone recording林文龙have to see themselves, on-line discussion boards are a lot of talking about the issue, there are friends林文龙row for郭可盈worth, some people think that this is a two-person family, outsiders should not be made critical.
Vicky Dong Revealed Affair with Frankie for a Reason
Why did Vicky Dong admit to T.C. Chang that she had an affair with Frankie Lam? According to one of the telephone recordings, Vicky apparently thought Frankie ended their relationship due to a new love interest in Hangzhou. Vicky was riled and thus she told T.C. Chang of her involvement with Frankie, hoping to seek revenge.
In a recording resembling Frankie’s voice: “Ho Ying said that I have another girlfriend in Hangzhou??”
T.C. Chang: “Oh! Vicky told me that. I asked Vicky why did both of you end your relationship? She said, ‘I realized Frankie had another woman in Hangzhou. Thus I broke up with him and became very unhappy.’”
Frankie: “I told you that I do not have a girlfriend in Hangzhou. Vicky is a very sensitive person. When I said I wanted to break up with her, she thought I had a girlfriend in Hangzhou. She harbored a grudge in her heart until this day.”
Since Frankie and Vicky’s relationship was revealed, Vicky has returned to China. In a recent blog entry, she said that while filming with Frankie, they got along as family members. She saw him as a mentor and denied that she was a third party. Subsequently, some netizens have shown their support while others left angry messages in her guestbook.

Yan Suk Ming gossiped on her radio program about Hong Kong actress and actor, K and C, re-kindling their old romantic sparks while filming in China in 2007. Sudden Weekly researched the Hong Kong actors who filmed in China in 2007 and discovered the following:
Chilam Cheung and Kenix Kwok 《 紅 粉 》
In 2006, Chilam revealed that he and Anita Yuen Wing Yee got married overseas. Chilam and Anita have a good marriage and are often photographed going out or shopping together. Chilam and Kenix filmed 《 紅 粉 》in China in 2007 together.

K= Voice resembling Kenix Kwok
T= Voice resembling T.C. Chang
Ray Lui was kissed repeatedly
Source: http://orientaldaily.on.cc
Translated by travelbug @ http://asianfanatics.net
Yesterday Ray Lui, Gallen Lo, Jamie Chik, Anita Yuen and Kenix Kwok were at Tseung Kwan O's TV City for the blessing ceremony of The Grand Entrepreneurs (金錢誘罪). It so happened that yesterday was Ray Lui's birthday, his female co-stars including Jamie Chik, Anita Yuen and Nancy Sit all gave him a kiss. TVB prepared some Chinese birthday buns (sau baau/壽包) for Ray and also to wish Jamie whose birthday is next month an early happy birthday.
Ray said his birthday wish is for his company to be listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange: "My company originally was to be listed this year but had to be delayed because of the financial tsunami."
Gallen who was lucky to kiss married woman Anita twice in a night, appeared a little awkward when he ran into Anita at the blessing ceremony. There were reports that Gallen felt good kissing, he clarified he never said that and was worried that this may have created a misunderstanding, but he said with a laugh that Chilam (Julian) had not yet called to condemn him.

Kenix Kwok Returns to Filming for TVB, Looking Extremely Bony
Since Kenix Kwok lost out on winning the TVB Best Actress Award a few years ago, her relationship with TVB had deteriorated; even her role in "Pillowcase 2" was replaced. Not to be outdone, Kenix accepted a TV interview from ATV, not giving face to TVB. When her contract with TVB expired, Kenix did not renew her contract, hence came the end of the Kenix and TVB's 10 year long relationship.
In recent years, Kenix mainly went to mainland to make money. But her work was very tiring and her income was not as stable as when she was filming TV series. Kenix had lost a significant amount of weight, looking very bony. A few months ago, Kenix took the initiative to invite Virginia Lok out to dinner in an attempt to patch up things with TVB. Finally, it was agreed that Kenix would film a 40 episodes TVB series called 《金装豪门》, her salary for filming one episode would be $35,000HKD.
(Note: According to reports, Kenix's past salary for filming TVB series was $50,000HKD per episode. After having not much success in mainland, Kenix now wants to return to TVB, but TVB cut her salary from $50,000 to $35,000. Also, Kenix will only play the 2nd female lead in this new drama, supposedly Anita Yuen will be leading over Kenix. This is the consequence of TVB artists leaving TVB and then asking to come back. )

Friday September 26, 2008 Hong Kong
Kenix Kwok and Frankie Lam have been married for 4 years. There were rumors that their marriage was on the rocks. Recently it was reported that Kenix went to Hengdian, HangZhou to split up with Frankie.
Kenix attended the promotional event for a skincare brand yesterday. She wasn't affected by the rumor. In fact, she was showing off her engagement diamond ring from Frankie. During one of the promotional activities, she had to take the ring off but she put it back on afterwards.
Kenix just came back from Hangzhou the other day and was asked if she saw Frankie in Hengdian. She stated that Frankie was in Hengdian a month ago, but she didn't see him. He is now working in Beijing and Shanghai. Kenix felt odd in regards to the rumors about her marital problems. She didn't take any notice of the media and she had no intention of clearing the rumor.
Kenix disclosed that she had a discussion with Frankie in Tongwan during Mid-autumn festival about going somewhere together next month. Asked if they are trying to make baby? Kenix said they are not in a hurry, a lot of female artists wait till they are in their 40s (Kenix is 39) to start a family. She can wait for another 2-3 years.

Kenik Kwok will film TVB's new epic series, stated all earlier rumors are meaningless

Kenik Kwok will film TVB's new epic series, stated all earlier rumors are meaningless
Since Kenix Kwok had lost out in receiving TVB's "Best Actress" award there had been numerous rumors claiming that her relationship with TVB had changed and she was also removed from casting in "A Pillow Case of Mystery II". Due to not liking how TVB treated her she accepted an interview for i-cable's channel. But it seemed that these rumors were untrue because Kenix has been officially casted in TVB's new epic series and will be heavily promoted.
TVB will start filming a new 40 episode series in November. The main leads will not involve any new actors or actresses. Rather inviting back veteran artistes such as Gallen Lo, Kenix Kwok, Ray Lui Leung Wai and Jamie Chik (Michael Miu's real wife) and many more. TVB hope's that the more experienced actors acting and storyline will attract the audience. Anita Yuen may also be casted in the series.
Kenix accepted a long distance call and admitted that she had accepted to film TVB's new epic series. She said "All the rumors earlier were not true and I do not need to clarify anything. When people hear that I am filming for TVB again it proves that earlier rumors were meaningless." She stresses that she hasn't filmed a series for 2 years and her relationship is still good with TVB. She was just hoping for a good storyline and stated that she had finally found one. Not only did the storyline appeal to her but also TVB executives Virginia Lok and Ngau Koon Ying had invited her to film the series. They also increased her salary making her very touched.
The reporter also asked Anita Yuen who is currently taking a break about the new series, she replied " I'm not sure, I have to look at the script and the requirements. I also have to see how my dieting is going because many people said I looked fat in (Love Exchange)".

The sms were send during the time when her hubby Frankie was out of town. The sms read "are you lonely?"
She never think it is necessary to delete that and she has nothing to hide, so she completely
forgot about it. One day, she left her phone in a taxi, Frankie try to reach her, taxi driver answer the call,
my husband went to the driver and pick that up for her.
He must have read that sms accidentally, got a bit upset. Because of this misunderstanding, she and

Did Jessica Hsuen replaced Kenix Kwok in (A Pillow Case of Mystery II)?
Costume Fitting Session Yesterday
The casts of TVB's upcoming drama (A Pillow Case Of Mystery II) which included Jessica Hsuen,Lelia Tong,Elieen Yeow and Bobby Au were having a costume fitting session yesterday. It was said that Jessica Hsuen has replaced Kenix Kwok and become the female lead of the drama. It was also rumoured that because Jessica replaced Kenix,Kenix was disappointed with TVB and appeared as a guest in another station. Jessica paid no attention to the rumours, she said that it was Bobby that had invited her to participate the drama.Jessica also believed that Kenix has got other reason to be unable to participate in the sequel of the first drama.
Jessica thinks that Kenix has got other reasons for being unable to participate in new drama
Jessica said "I have participated in the drama this time because Bobby has invited me. Originally,i don't have to work in summer. Although i have to film the ancient series during summer,Bobby said that he would take care of me for the rest of my life. He said that it is no problem for him to give me food, clothes and shelter." Speaking about Kenix's relationship with TVB has worsen,Jessica said "Those were just rumours, but i am unsure about the reality. Maybe she has got other reasons." (Do you feel that Kenix was disappointed with the company because she did not win the award of best female actress?) "I dont think it was because of that,I won't want to comment too much, but i am very sure that she is not disappointed with TVB. Artiste loves have flexibility and freedom,Kenix would also not make the company angry because she didn't won any awards."
Praised that Jessica is a very professional partner
Bobby denied that Jessica had accepted to participate in the drama because of his invitation. He said "Although i have invited her,but i dont think it is fully because of me that made her participate in the drama. I am anticipating to work with her. Last time when we were working together at (Dicey Business) we were very happy and have a good understanding towards each other. Anything is possible with Jessica. I remembered that there was a scene in (Dicey Business),Benz Hui have to spit water at Jessica. After being spitted at,Jessica just wiped away the water and patch her make ups,she returned to work after. She was very professional." (Why didn't you invite Kenix for the drama?) "I didn't select and chose the cast, its TVB that wanted Jessica to be in it. It was not my idea,i have also no rights and power to select the cast myself."
Bobby's Birthday!!
It was also Bobby Au's 47th birthday yesterday. Jessica joked, saying she would give him a set of 20 episode drama to wish that Bobby would be prosperous for producing more dramas constantly in future. Jessica was very satisfied with the birthday present she gave Bobby this year, the 20 episode drama she meant to give Bobby was her participation in (A pillow case of Mystery II).
Too many wishes?
Asked Bobby what birthday wish does he have? He said that he has got alot of wishes. He hopes that the Beijing Olympics will be successful,China will win more medals,Lau Cheung could break the world record again,TVB could be prosperous, and everyone to be healthy. Bobby has earlier considered to organise a BBQ party to celebrate his birthday, however he was afraid of the hot weather and no one would turn up. In the end,the BBQ party was not organised. However,he will have a BBQ party with his wife tonight to celebrate his birthday.
Filming Ancient Series during summer
Because of not filming for ancient dramas for a period of time,Jessica Hsuen said that the weather was too hot in summer. She requested the Designer to make the clothes thinner and have a much more simple hairdo. Jessica also expressed that being happy is more important during filming, hence, she would not worry about the rating points. She also revealed that the filming process of her another drama (Just Love II) will be coming to an end soon.

Frankie Lam Denies 'Crying it out' to Female Friend
Expresses that Reporters ruin the relationship between artistes & reporters.
Frankie Lam and Kenix Kwok's marriage have often been alleged of a relationship that's not stabled. Recently there has been another report that said Frankie invited a female friend out to cry it all out. Yesterday Frankie attended "Forensic Heroes II" press conference, asked if his mood was affected by these reports? He said: "No (Feel Helpless?) You all are asking about it, makes it helpless!" As to crying out to a female friend, Frankie said that that picture is from 2 or more years ago, but the magazines didn't confirm it and just wrote up false news, it would be better if they made a picture of his Baby!
Wife is not offended
Asked if Kenix is offended? He expresses that before Kenix would have a curious mind and read those magazines, but now she completely does not have any interest in looking at the magazines anymore. Even if a friend calls and reports the news to her, she would tell the friend to not talk about it, He said: "The Kenix today will not get involved nor will she ask about it, so therefore will not be offended. As for him, he is very clear of what he is doing and will not be offended by the fake." Frankie also said that artistes and reporters are actually friends and has a colleague relationship, but because magazines are not responsible for what they report, it distances the relationship. He asked back: "Why does it have to be this way? It's not like we killed your 8 generations of ancestors, why must [reporters] write things that 'kill' others?"
Order one less dish of food
Speaking of the condition of SiChuan's earthquake, Frankie expresses that he donated money, and if the time matches, he would want to personally go to the disaster area and help the victims. He said: "Before I been to Cheng Du [Sing Do] for a tour of the mountain area children, their everyday life are pitiful, a whole family's annual income is about $700-$800, each month can only shower once. Now an earthquake occured, they are even more miserable. We should order one less dish of food when we eat, if that is able to help them. The people of Hong Kong are really fortunate."
