It was TVB Jade Singers Anniversary Celebration last night. The celebration changed into male and female singers contest. Eason imitates Jamaica singer Bob Marley, Cholam Wong as Boy George, Eric Suen as Johnny Depp in his pirate's costume. For the female singers, Jade Kwan dressed up as Avril Lavigne, Kary Ng as land lady Qui Yuen in "Kung Fu" and Linda Chung imitates Marilyn Monroe. Singer queen Joey dressed up as Uma Thurman and Miriam was 山口百惠 . Kay Tse was Audrey Hepurn lookalike and Ah Sa was Priscilla Chan. Vincy dressed up as a catwoman whereas Hacken Lee was imitating Alan Tam in his heyday as one of the "Wynners". Wylien Chiu and Renee Dai as "Chopsticks" and Leo Ku was Harry Porter
MC Dodo danced with "The Grasshopper" even though she was dancing out of steps she still got a big round of applaud. It was a shame that Lui Fong was not there. She was so happy afterward she shouted out "I never thought I would have a chance to dance with "The Grasshopper" Are you all happy?"

Dodo Cheng & Lui Fong Break up

Dodo Cheng and Lui Fong have been dating for 16 years. A day ago Dodo directly met up with a specific magazine reporters to announce she had broken up with him. Lui Fong moved out of their home in Repulse Bay in the middle of October.But Dodo said she is still friends with him and stressed that it wasn't because of him having no money, no status otherwise they wouldn't have been together for 16 years. The reason they broke up had nothing to do with money or a third party.
Still Friends
As for the reason for breaking up? Dodo said one of the reasons is because of her lifestyle. She personally had little time to socialise and would sleep early. But Lui Fong would sleep very late. Also perhaps because she entered her 50's and is at another stage in her life. She thought about spending time on her own. Lui Fong also had similar thoughts. After many discussions and thinking, in the end they made that decision. But they will continue to stay in touch, meet up and message each other. They will always remain as good friends and will always help each other.
Not too upset
Lui Fong said last year in his Concert that he would marry Dodo this year, But Dodo said she had never thought about getting married. As for it ending after 16 years, did she feel very upset and cry? Dodo said she didn't feel specifically upset. Returning as single status for the first day she felt okay and still had many unforgettable memories. For example Lui Fong cooking dinner for her. Also his character had made her more open minded.
Lui Fong also said that it was not to do with a third party, mainly to do with their different lifestyles. After their discussions and dealing with the matter calmly they finally found a way to resolve it. But their relationship is still very good. (Does that mean there is still a chance to get back together?) He said he could not predict that. Yesterday the reporter phoned Dodo. Her assistant said that she will accepted that magazine interview and will not accept other magazines interviews to discuss about her break up. But Thanked them for their concern.
Lui Fong said he had already said what was needed to be said in the magazine interview so will not respond to any questions. But would thanked everyone. Their relationship first started hidden, untill 1994 when they officially announced it in public.

WHEN A DOG LOVES A CAT <當狗愛上貓>
Promise you love me, honor and keep me, for better or worse, in sickness and in health.
CHOW CHI YU (Wu Myolie) once adopted a stray dog TAI PA but it brought virus to her father's kennel and all the dogs inside are dead tragically. Since then, her older brother CHOW CHI JIM (Lui Fong) and sister-in-law SHUI TIN LAN (Tsang Wah Sin) have no choice but to open a pet shop for a living. Later, YU met TAI PA's little brother SIU PA but her boyfriend YING HOI LEUNG (Wong Ho Yin) suggested her to keep it in an empty house nearby.
MIU CHUN (Lo Ka Leung)'s girlfriend KAKA lost her life while saving her dog TAI PA in a traffic accident. CHUN was devastated and he abandoned the dog while keeping KAKA's beloved cat CANCAN with him. CHUN moves in to his new home but he is enraged to discover SIU PA has been raising there secretly by YU, his neighbour as well as his coworker at advertising firm. While seeing each other day and night, the battle between the "cat" and the "dog" becomes never-ending.
CHUN accidentally uncovers a secret relationship between YU and LEUNG. YU turns to CHUN for advice since she has found that LEUNG has affair with another woman. The two of them gradually develop feelings on each other but they don't know how to express themselves. During the time, MAN CHI KEI (Liu Bernice Jan), the daughter of the big boss, suddenly pursues CHUN. CHUN finally realizes who his true love is but the timing is just not right.

Will Dodo Cheng marry Lui Fong after the Olympic ??
Tony and Carina had tied their knot ending their 20 years marathon courtship 10 days ago. The media is now concentrating on the other marathon couple, Lui Fong and Dodo Cheng. They have been together for 16 years now.
Rumor has it Lui Fong and Dodo were also planning their big day too. Lui Fong even admitted their wedding would be very low key. Yesterday,a reporter asked Dodo if it was true and she did not deny it but replied " there isn't anywhere better than Bhutan. We will make the announcement in good time".
Not planning to have children
Dodo was asked about the remark made by Lui Fong that it will be a low key wedding. Dodo replied "We don't want to bother too many people". Earlier on Dodo interviewed Tony and in the interview, Tony said one of the reasons that they got married was to please their parents and relatives.
