Modern Dynasty 2, the highly anticipated spinoff series of the successful drama Modern Dynasty, has generated significant excitement among fans. The star-studded cast, including Charmaine Sheh, Raymond Lam, Chilam Cheung, and other TVB stars, promises to deliver a compelling story filled with power struggles within a wealthy family.

Producer Tommy Leung has confirmed Charmaine Sheh and Raymond Lam's participation in the series, marking their reunion after their last collaboration in Line Walker. Fans eagerly anticipate the sparks that will fly between the two talented actors, who are known for their on-screen chemistry. Their previous collaborations have been well-received, adding to the anticipation surrounding their reunion in Modern Dynasty 2.

In addition to Charmaine Sheh and Raymond Lam, the drama also features Him Law, Kelly Cheung, Toby Leung, and a cameo appearance by Gallen Lo. The cast is composed of familiar faces from TVB, creating a sense of nostalgia for viewers.

Filming for Modern Dynasty 2 was initially planned to begin earlier this year but was delayed due to uncertainty over the female lead. However, Charmaine's confirmation of her participation and her current study of the script indicate that the series is finally moving forward. With Charmaine's busy schedule, which included filming Chinese variety shows and TVB's The Queen of News, the timing had to be carefully coordinated to accommodate her availability.

Charmaine expressed her excitement about working with her friends in Modern Dynasty 2. She has previously built strong chemistry with Raymond and Gallen in Line Walker and Seven Sisters, respectively. Additionally, she looks forward to reuniting with her close friend Toby on set. Charmaine is currently immersing herself in the script, preparing to bring her character to life in the highly anticipated drama.

Fans of the original Modern Dynasty and the talented cast members can expect an engaging storyline, dynamic performances, and memorable interactions as Modern Dynasty 2 takes them on a thrilling journey through the power struggles within this wealthy family.

Raymond Lam and Kate Tsui Fed Up With TVB

Sunday December 23, 2012 Hong Kong
Source: http://my.entertainm...-040900903.html

Rumour has it that stars Raymond Lam and Kate Tsui have given up hope on TVB, after losing the coveted title at this year's TVB Anniversary Awards.

Popular Asian reported that both Raymond and Kate allegedly voiced their opposition by refusing to work for TVB. While Raymond decided to focus on doing albums, films and mainland dramas next year, Kate Tsui reportedly will dedicate most of 2013 on filming movies.

The rumours came about after it was revealed that the total number of Raymond's votes did not even qualify him for a second place trophy at the event that was held recently. According to reports, Raymond did not even make it into the top three while 2012 TV King, Wayne Lai reportedly won by a landslide of 110,000 votes and Kenneth Ma came in second place with approximately 30,000 votes behind Wayne.

Similarly, Tavia won the Best Actress award with over 110,000 votes while Kate came second, also with 30,000 votes behind.

Sources claimed that the reason for Tavia Yeung and Wayne Lai's victory is due to a struggle between TVB management executives, Catherine Tsang and Virginia Lok.

It was rumoured that the former insisted to hold the awards in mid-December, after the broadcasts of Anniversary dramas, "Silver Spoon, Sterling Shackles" and "The Confidant" that stars some of Catherine Tsang's favourites - Tavia and Wayne, allowing them to have a greater chance in winning the Best Actress and Actor awards.

TVB Anniversary Awards 2012 had a new 'one person per vote' system, allowing the audience to vote for their favorite TV King and Queen. At first, everyone thought Raymond Lam would take the title because he had the most fans, but he ended up with nothing! Kate Tsui was only given the 'pork award' (condolence prize) -- "My Favorite TV Female Character" award. [Good News] obtained news from a reliable source of the voting results. On the night of the awards show, TVB announced there was a total of 1,542,922 votes. TV King and Queen each had around 110,000 of the votes. According to the reliable source, Kenneth Ma was actually in second place for TV King, just 30,000 votes behind Wayne Lai; On the TV Queen side, Kate Tsui was in second place with around 30,000 votes behind Tavia Yeung. Raymond Lam did not even make it on the top three.

It was understood, the two TVB executive giants Virgina Lok and Catherine Tsang were in a battle. Catherine insisted on delaying the awards ceremony until the two anniversary series The Confidant and Silver Spoon Sterling Shackles finishes its broadcast, so her favorite artists Wayne Lai and Tavia Yeung could have extra time to boost their momentum and get in more votes, and plus the finales frequently become the hot topics in the city. Results, Wayne and Tavia successfully won the awards. Virgina Lok saw right through Catherine's plot. This directly affected her favorite artists Raymond Lam and Kate Tsui's votes. No wonder the two are attacking back! Apparently Raymond and Kate are fighting back by refusing to accept any TVB series next year. Next year, Raymond is concentrating more on music, Mainland dramas and movies; Kate will be focused more in movies.

Raymond Lam Saw Online Feedback Won't Miss Out on TV King

esterday Raymond Lam attended the press conference held in Shenzhen for the Ernest Borel - Royal Collection new products. There were over a thousand fans that went to support Raymond, jamming both sides of the location. When Raymond appeared, the fans were out of control screaming loudly. Raymond was surrounded by the security, but fans tried hard reaching out to get close interaction with their idol. Raymond enthusiastically stopped and shook hands with fans.

As Ernest Borel's spokesman, Raymond frankly expressed he has never worn matching watches with a girlfriend because he never gave couple watches to her. Actually he has given one to his mother and younger sister. When speaking of the Highs and Lows finale last night, he laughed: "Actually I will be attending the finale event tonight (last night), but I lied to 3 Gor (Michael Miu) that I wouldn't make it, even the producer won't know that I'm going. (Do you have confidence on the ratings?) Actually I already know just reading the feedback online. I really thank you all for the support, many people are calling me by my character name now."

At approximately 3pm, Amy Kwok came walking out of the airport alone with a cart full of luggage, looks like she received a lot! She revealed to reporters that she just went to Shanghai to accompany her husband Sean Lau for work and is coming back to HK first.

An hour later, Raymond Lam returns to HK for work after spending Christmas with his family in Xiamen. He purchased a sandwich and water after leaving the gate and attracted a large group of people taking photos. Wonder if Raymond was just worried his bearded-look would affect the image fans had on him, he told reporters: "Don't take pictures of me, I have a face full of hair."

Raymond Lam: “Joe Ma Is A Loyal Friend!”

Saturday November 26, 2011 Hong Kong
Credits: to Jayne @ http://www.jaynestars.com

At Raymond Lam’s (林峯) autograph signing event for the release of his concert DVD, over 500 fans appeared. A giant gift box was brought out, upon which a beautiful woman jumped out the box with a birthday cake in hand. December 8th will be Raymond’s birthday, in which he revealed that a large birthday party will be held with fans around the world. Regarding the competition for TVB’s TV King competition, Raymond expressed confidence.

Raymond’s rumored girlfriend, Rose Chan (陳嘉桓), was recently implicated in a scandal in which Benny Chan (陳浩民) had touched her inappropriately after a few drinks. [Joe Ma (馬德鐘) was also present at the time, but his involvement was cleared by Rose's sifu, Sin Kwok Lam (冼國林).] Raymond noted, “After filming a music video together, Rose and I have very little contact with each other. I found the news to be very shocking. I have known Joe Ma for a very long time.” (Joe took advantage of being drunk to take advantage of Rose!) “He is a veteran who possesses loyalty (義氣) and takes good care of me. The news was very shocking to me!”

In Raymond’s mind, Rose Chan was very pure. It has been several years since Raymond last filmed in Hengdian, China. After working, Raymond would normally eat dinner with the cast and crew, but he rarely drank alcohol due to the tight filming schedule. Regarding conflicting conjectures that Rose Chan had brought the incident upon herself due to her warm personality, Raymond said, “Since the incident had progressed to this stage, it is inappropriate to comment too much on the matter.”

Raymond Lam loved to deeply: It's the most painful one

Translated by: aZnangel @ http://asianuniverse.net/forums/

Earlier this year, Raymond Lam and Mainland actress Mavis Pan's romance was exposed. However after the passionate relationship, Mavis made several attempts to expose their 'secret history'. Naturally the relationship could no longer go on, Raymond also had no choice but to firmly break off all relations with her. He once submerged himself into work and just hoped for a tiny bit of comfort, but since the incident until today, Raymond said without concealing that his heart still aches every time he thinks of it. Looks like he still hasn't completely recovered!

RAYMOND:

As far as I'm concern, love is very personal, especially after I became an artist, I just had no opportunity to find my other half. Of course, I know thoughts are often different from reality, so I always try my best! In fact, you all should be very familiar with my love life, so it's not necessary for me to describe it here because in reality, my rumors greatly exceeds the actual number of times I've dated.

Raymond Lam, Kate Tsui and Bosco Wong attended separate events and was asked about the TVB poaching crisis. The three of them were very loyal to Virgina Lok. Raymond said as long as Virgina Lok is still with TVB, he will not leave. He said: "TVB treats all their artists well, no bias. (You get 150,000 per episode when shooting in Mainland?) Not quiet, 150,000 was the past. (Do you hope to get a pay raise?) TVB and I do not talk about the money." As for Kate, she said she has received the poaching SMS, but she did not pay attention to it because she was taught to be grateful for her blessings: "TVB treats me well, Miss Lok is very important to me. At this stage, I will not consider leaving. I have confidence in TVB."

Also, Bosco also did not pay attention to the SMS. He reassured Virgina that he will stick with Virgina no matter what, just like Raymond, because Virgina raised him. He will not leave TVB.

Raymond Lam and Eva Huang kiss underwater

Raymond Lam Fung and Eva Huang Shengyi worked on the Ching Siu Tung directed THE SORCERER AND THE WHITE SNAKE (BAK SEH CHUEN SHUET). Earlier they accepted a TVB interview and talked about their many passionate scenes. The most memorable was the kiss in the water.

Because Shengyi did not know how to swim at all, she could only be in the water for a few seconds. She could only open her eyes in the water and act at all. Finally with everyone's encouragement and training she was able to complete this underwater kiss of a century with Raymond Lam Fung.
