Eric tsang wants to work on the line walker film

Michael Miu Kiu Wai two nights ago attended an indoor golf course opening ceremony as its spokesman and host the opening ceremony with his friends Eric Tsang Chi Wai and Lawrence Ng Kai Wa. His wife Chik Mei Chun also showed her support. Before the interview, Sam Gor stated that he would only talk about the event and LINE WALKER (SI TOH HUNG JEH) and not "Occupy Central". LINE's success made the leads' salaries jump. He said that this was a more pleasing work for him recently. Aside from the ideal numbers, the word of mouth was also very important. "I haven't had friends telling me that they watched the ending in a long time. The most exciting was the Mainland record breaking hit rate. Later a celebration will take place."

Will LINE be made into a film? Sam Gor said that he awaited the company's arrangements. He even said that if the company did not make the film, he would. "I want to make the film version, I think the story can be continued. Changes to the team would be difficult." The film was rumored to be removing the "corrupted police" subject for the Mainland market. Sam Gor said that this was a creative problem, as the subject had to be made suitable for both Hong Kong and Mainland.

Chi Wai also praised LINE and said that he watched the ending with Sam Gor and others. He revealed that at the time everyone was tempted to make the film version. Would he be interested? Chi Wai said, "Hopefully! (Would you play a role?) I hope so, this type of films is suitable for me." Yet when discussing the "Occupy Central" movement, Chi Wai paused for over ten seconds. Was his heart aching? He looked worried as he said, "I think no one want to see Hong Kong turn into this, the student appeal is right but they seem to be unable to find a stage. When would this end? This is truly what everyone is the most worried about." He felt that now it has become clearer and clearer. Very few people there were students, some might be there to be a part of the crowd or to disrupt. Now they had to face all the people's complaints about their lives being affected, which was what everyone wanted to see the least and the moment that was the most flammable. Chi Wai pointed out that lately headmasters and respected people have spoken up and said that this was a very dangerous time. He suggested opening Tamar Park for students to make their appeal there. The people could support them after work and the roads would be freed up.

"Line Walker" lead star Michael Miu recently stated that he has no qualms about reprising his role as CIB Chief Inspector Cheuk Hoi, should the plan for a movie version be realised.

According to On CC News, the actor, who attended a promotional event with Eric Tsang and Lawrence Ng recently, said that he is currently waiting for the company to make the arrangements.

Michael even offered to produce the project if TVB is not interested to turn it into a movie.

"I am satisfied with the ratings of "Line Walker". Thus, I will invest in the movie version if the company doesn't want to," said Michael.

Eric Tsang chimed in, and jokingly said that an undercover role suits him best if the series is adapted to the big screen.

On Monday night, TVB drama "Line Walker" cast, Michael Miu, Samantha Ko, Elena Kong, Oscar Leung, Sharon Chan, and others watched the drama together during their dinner gathering in Tsim Sha Tsui. Producer Jazz Man exposed that the drama has a hidden ending. They had filmed two endings on hand, and on the last week, they will have the audience vote on which ending to use; the fate of Charmaine Sheh and Raymond Lam will be in their hands. Jazz said: "One ending is a regret, the other is a perfect ending, it is up to the viewers." Asked if they will film a prequel or sequel due to the good response from the audience? He said: "Need to see how the audience's responses are first, and let the company decide."

Michael Miu expressed that it is his turn to treat the cast to dinner this time. Regarding the series ratings being quite decent, Michael feels reassured: "The drama is discussion worthy every week, and the ratings are rising. In recent years, I rarely get surrounded when I go out, (but this time) many keep asking who is the undercover. I won't tell, of course." About the drama having two endings, Michael revealed that he likes an ending with regrets, because he feels it will leave a deeper impact in the audience. But in the end, which ending gets broadcasted is decided from the audience's votes. Asked if he hopes the drama will film a prequel or sequel, he said: "Let the company and producer decide!"

Felix Wong was invited by Carlo Ng on "Today's VIP" as a guest. Just finished shooting the LAUGHING GOR movie, Felix frankly said that he craves to be in a series. He reveals that in October, he will be collaborating with "3rd Brother" Michael Miu in a new police-criminal drama. He believes that the quality will be quite high: "Michael is like my half-manager, he told me to relax, if there are any problems, go talk to him. (Will you be like Chapman To, requesting for 12 hour resting time?) That is too much, 6-8 hours is already enough."

Ron Ng, Michael Miu and Raymond Lam's episode of "Club Sparkle" aired last night. In the show, they chatted about the three's rumors. Ella Koon revealed that she once was invited by a male artist to the beach, and exposed that the male artist once took other girls out to the beach before. The hosts Sandra Ng and Chin Ka Lok asked Ron is he the male artist? Ron denied and said that he would bring girls to high class restaurants and rarely to the beach.

Michael Miu was asked by Sandra about his female co-stars that he collaborated with, Michael expressed: "I had little sparks with Anita Mui, it was before 'Fragrant River Flower Moon Light (香江花月夜). The person who I had most sparks with is wife Jamie Chik, (How about Anita Yuen?) After I collaborate with anyone, of course there will be feelings, but I will completely be out of it after."

Raymond Lam was once said to have done plastic surgery, he laughed and said that all along he did not know if he was single eyelid or double eyelid. But he's not sure if its because in recent years he had been filming too many anicent series that his eyes were stretched out too much, or put eyeliner on his eyes too much, but he felt that his own eye skin had become more firm and better.

Michael Miu & Maggie Cheung: 1 Take of a kiss scene is not enough

anslated by: aZnangel @ http://asianuniverse.net/forums/

Michael Miu and Maggie Cheung were filming for a kiss scene last night. Maggie thought that the first take was too shallow, therefore she requested for a re-take. Michael also said that he only started doing intimate scenes with female co-stars after his comeback, but he's not afraid that his wife Jamie Chik will be jealous.

Michael and Maggie were in Sandy Bay beach in Sai Kung filming for new series "The Pride of My Husband", during filming, many passerbyers called out Michael's name as "Hau Gor", seems like "E.U." has been a big hit. Although Michael and Maggie both have a partner in real life, but during filming, they were both very professional. Before filming, they would communicate with each other about the scene for the best result. After filming the kiss scene, the two would be in a hurry to watch the playback, they felt that the first take was too shallow and even took the initiative in requesting for a re-take. Michael also highly praises that Maggie and him are a good match.

Michael Miu leads the New Year Party

Translated by: Sammy@http://ronforever.com
Source: Apple Daily

Chinese people take Chinese New Year very seriously, particularly a big family re-union and the food is always the most important. This year the cast for Emergency Unit was invited by Michael Miu to a Lunar Year New Years Eve party with Ron Ng and Elanne Kong.

Michael Miu held an early New Year dinner at Wan Chai with 5 others including Ron Ng, Elanne Kong, Samuel Chan, Leung Ka Kei and Lum Ji hei. The group of them ordered 6 meaningful dishes including 揚四海 (Yeung sei hoi) , 嘻哈齊歡笑 (Heehee haha prawns), 大鵬展翅 (dai pang jing chi) , 大地回春 (dai dei wui chuen), 花開富 (fa hoi fu) and 發財又好市 (Fat choi you ho si). All together it costed 2688 HK. The group of them name it “(Sam Gor) Michael’s New Year dinner party”. The boss of the restaurant was hoping to get Michael to do an advertisement to advertise all these dishes.

Ron and Elanne had their time for some fun and games as Elanne placed a Sang Choi Bao on top of Ron’s head asking Ron to make it fall onto his plate. Michael just watched them and sighed, Mo lei gum ho hei! Michael said “Every year I prepare about 10 000 yuan in Red packets. I love new year because of the atmosphere it brings and this year my wish is that Emergency unit ratings will break the records!

In Emergency Unit Elanne will pair up with Ron Ng and this year Ron will reach his 30s and hopes that the year of the Ox will be a great one for him. He has been in the industry for ten years and has seen Bosco Wong and Raymond Lam beginning to emerge in the singing industry as well as reaching their goals and potentials. Ron believes that everything is just go with the flow. He said “Everyone has their highs and lows and when you’re up the top you can really enjoy it but when you’re at the bottom you have to work hard and learn. But you must have the heart to fight and you will definitely pursue your goal but there is always only one Ron Ng and its best not for all the flowers (TVB artists) to boom together. I was the first TVB artist to release and album so now it’s pretty even. I think that I’ve improved because there is always a mountain higher than the one you’re on.”

Recently Ron has overcome all the rumours but believes that there must be fate to have rumours. He laughed “Nothing happened between me and Joey Yeung, so Shirley Yeung and Myolie Wu will have nothing too.”

Gallen Lo and Anita Yuen to Film Rape Scene - Too Bold for TV

Gallen Lo and Anita Yuen to Film Rape Scene - Too Bold for TV?

The tentative title for TVB upcoming 40-episode grand production is now changed to 金钱诱罪 (The Crime-Inducing Effect of Money, lit.). Filming is to begin mid November.

Gallen Lo Ka Leung was seen at TVB City earlier, working on the drama’s sale presentation clip. While Gallen was absolutely tight-lipped about his character, producer Chong Wai Kin excitedly talked about the cast and how they had successfully convinced veterans such as Ray Lui Leung Wai and Jamie Chik Mei Chun to “descend the mountain”. He was also quite excited about a rape scene that involves Gallen Lo and Anita Yuen. The two stars did not oppose the idea. “It may sound a little too daring,” said Chong, “but it will certainly be kept within television limit.”

“Leng Leng” Anita Yuen earlier in “Love Exchange” exchanged not even a kiss with “boyfriend” Miu Kiu Wai. For her to now willing to sacrifice all the way, the charm of the newly divorced man must be quite irresistible. Being phone interviewed by reporter yesterday (Oct 5th), husband Julian Cheung Chi Lam said about his wife filming a rape scene as “very exciting!” “For this kind of drama, if you don’t stir things up, it will not be attractive!”

Gallen said he won’t be worried about the scene affecting his image. He believes the scene will be arranged reasonably. Smilingly, Gallen added that “(Since) Leng Leng is willing, I’ll be very much looking forward to it! The script is one thing, but I suppose it isn’t just simply a rape scene, but human nature which exhibits true color in time of conflict.”

Translated by: kingkongit27 @ http://asianuniverse.net

TVB's "Anniversary Awards Ceremony 2008" and "Anniversary Extravaganza" will be held on the 15th and 19th of November. To welcome TVB's 41st Anniversary, TVB held a lighting ceremony at TVB City yesterday. All the TVB artistes were present and took group photos together. This year due to "Moonlight Resonance" having extremely high viewing ratings, the senior artistes were particularly valued such as Louise Lee, Nancy Sit, Ng Kwan Lai, Lee Heung Kum, Michelle Yim and Susanna Kwan who all stood in the front row. Liza Wang stood next to Sir Run Run Shaw.

Every year when the TVB Anniversary has a lighting ceremony, they would take group photos together and do promotions. At 5pm yesterday, Sir Run Run Shaw arrived and was accompanied by Miss Hong Kong winner Edelweiss Cheung. He appeared very well and his walking movements were stable. He stood in the middle inbewteen Liza Wang and Dodo Cheng. The Fa Dan's that stood in the front row this year were Gigi Lai, Ada Choi, Charmaine Sheh, Sheren Tang and Maggie Siu. In the second row stood the male leads including Moses Chan, Roger Kwok, Bowie Lam, Kevin Cheng, Bosco Wong, Ron Ng, Ivan Ho, Michael Tse, Patrick Dunn, Bobby Au Yeung, Michael Miu, Wong Hei, Paul Chun, David Chiang and Matthew Ko.

Myolie Wu who has been nominated for "My Favourite Female Character Role" was arranged to stand in the 3rd row with Tavia Yeung, Kate Tsui, Linda Chung and Fala Chen. All of the artistes had to do hand gestures to promote TVB's 41st Anniversary. Sir Run Run Shaw watched Liza Wang as she demonstrated and copied. Afterwards Liza praised him "Very Smart".

Joyce Cheng was arranged to sing her new drama theme song. She appeared quite nervous and admitted afterwards that it affected her performance. She hoped that she could retake it. As for being arranged to perform first she said " TVB really love me, I feel like I have officially joined the TVB family. I have been raised drinking TVB's milk and have been drinking it since I was in my mother's stomach".

"The Gem of Life" cast show off jewels

The cast of "The Gem of Life" Gigi Lai, Moses Chan, Maggie Siu etc did an catwalk and showed off jewels. Maggie Siu who wore a low cut dress was most sexy out of all of them. She joked "Sorry that I scared all of you". Afterwards, Wong Cho Lam and Elvina Kong acted out an comedy scene to wish TVB Happy Birthday. Kevin Cheng and Charmaine Sheh were both present. Even though he said he didn't feel awkward and didn't mind taking photos together, in the end he never took any with her. He personally said that September was the Gossip month. He hopes September will pass quickly and all the gossip will fade away. As for who he thinks will win "Best Actor"? He personally feels all the cast from "Moonlight Resonance" have a high chance. When we mentioned that Charmaine has also been nominated. He replied "I support her too". Charmaine thanked Kevin for his comments but doesn't have much confidence in winning because "Moonlight Resonance" is too powerful. She personally has high hopes for Susanna Kwan in taking the TV Queen award.

Charmaine, who has had rumours with almost every male actor at TVB, can add a new name to her list. After dumping Ron, Charmaine turned her interest to TV King Kevin Cheng. Charmaine & Kevin’s romance started during the filming of “Forensic Heroes 2”. At the time, Niki was filming a series in mainland, hence Kevin and Niki drifted apart due to the distance.

During mid year, Kevin & Charmaine met again for "Forensic Heroes 2" promotions, this created more opportunities for the two. After Charmaine finished filming her new series, she took a two-months leave. During her holidays, Charmaine kept inviting Kevin out to the ‘Button’ nightclub. An onlooker commented “Many people from the entertainment circle likes to hang out at ‘Button’, once I saw Charmaine and Kevin drinking and playing games together, every time Charmaine loses a game, she would whine, what kind of man could resist her flirting?"

Charmaine’s Previous 9 Captives

During the 11 years Charmaine has been in the industry, she has used her flirting skills and beauty to capture many actors’ hearts, earning her the nickname “Flirt Sheh”.

Michael Miu will allow his wife Jamie Chik to film intimate scenes

Michael Miu, Louisa So and Yu Kam Kei attended an Insurance company function yesterday. Recently Michael's wife Jamie Chik had successfully lost weight and went from 160 lbs to 110 lbs. Michael laughed that no matter how much his wife weighed he was still satisfied. Asked if he was worried men would flirt with his wife? He said he's not worried because his wife trusts him and is comfortable when he is acting.

As for whether Jamie will return to film TVB's new series, Michael says "She is discussing it with TVB, now that the kids are older and she has more free time. I suggested that if the storyline and partners are good then go for it." (What about intimate scenes?) "I am very open minded, she didn't have any requests when I was filming those scenes with other actresses."

Also Louisa revealed that her friend from school days is about to get married. But she still hasn't got to that stage with her boyfriend. She feels that when the time comes it will be very simple and romantic.

TVB new series "The Academy III" had finally finished filming. Yesterday the cast Michael Miu, Ron Ng, Elanne Kong, Kathy Chow and Michael Tse attended an wrap up party buffet at a hotel. Michael Miu's wife Jamie Chik also appeared at the party. The reporters asked whether Michael was paying the food bill for the guests, he immediatley joked that Kathy Chow had previously stated that she would pay. There were about 40-50 people that attended the wrapup party buffet.

Earlier Gallen Lo announced his divorce. Michael Miu stated that he doesn't know Gallen very well. But he feel's that if Gallen has made that decision then it must have been carefully thought about. He also states that every family has it's own problems and issues. What is most important in marriage is communication and forgiveness. Michael and his wife Jamie had been married for 18 years. (Asked how he manages to communicate so well?) "Of course there are times when we have different opinions. But if that happens we will take on each other's advice and try to resolve matters. If it doesn't work then I will usually be the one to step aside and allow things to cool down, rather than make matters worse. "

Kathy Chow does not want to comment on Gallen Lo's Divorce

Now that the series had finished filming, Kathy Chow will be returning to mainland China to film some commericals. Kathy states that she doesn't mind paying the food bill for the wrapup party, most important is that everyone is happy. As for the news about Gallen Lo's divorce she expresses that she has very little contact with Gallen and does not want to comment on his divorce.

Also, Ron Ng will be filming a new Ancient drama Series in August called "妻妾成群" . We mentioned that filming ancient costume drama's is very hardwork in summer. Ron smiled and replied "The summer weather is beautiful and is suitable for filming ancient costume series. "

Artiste's give comments regarding the rumours of Twins Disbanding

Ever since Gillian Chung got involved in the sex scandal, her personal and Twins' projects had been suspended by her company. Her partner, Charlene Choi has been working alone for almost half a year now. Recently there was a rumour about Twins disbanding officially. There was a widespread of comments by their colleagues from the entertainment circle.

If Twins were really to disband, they should have a farewell concert and have a last album to account for their fans whom might have been supporting them all along. There are alot of teenagers waiting a long time for them. Our first album was produced by EEG, Twins helped us alot at that time by shooting MVs with us. The music industry in Hong Kong will not be healthy without a duo.
If Twins have good prospects after disbanding, we might follow and do the same.

Ken Hung - Disbanding is a rumour

I believe their news of disbanding are just cheap rumours. We will talk about it after they disband officially. The people of Hong Kong have a deep impression in Twins, many were influenced by their music. I dont think they will need to change.

Hotcha - won't replace Twins

It will be a pity if they disband, they are the most successful group. We don't think we can replace them. We bought Twin's first album about 7 years ago, when they were still newbies. (Should Gillian be responsible for Twins' disband?) "We won't dare to comment, the disbanding of Twins should be decided by the company."

Fama - They will be back

Twins have been very successful in a group, they are also very successful individually. Even if they disband they will cooperate and be back again after sometime. (Should Gillian be responsible for Twins' disband?) "Of coure NOT!"

Kay Tse - Twins will survive

Twins are very popular, they are very outstanding everytime they are on stage. Even if they disband they will have good prospects individually.

Macy Chan - All things come to an end

When our group the "Girls Domitory" got disbanded, I was not used to it initially too. We used to work and play, even bathing together. But I am not used to being alone after we got disbanded. All things will eventually come to an end, its the law of nature.

Michael Miu - Who knows what will happen in future?

Maybe Twins' disband will lead them to another journey, nobody knows what will happen in future.

Andrew Lam - Won't be good if they disband

Ah Sa and Ah Gil will need to sing solo if they really seperate. It will be a new experience to them. I don't really think they will be able to cope. They will face more pressure and stress from the media and work. They also need to be double hardworking, especially Gillian.
