Michael Miu Kiu Wai two nights ago attended an indoor golf course opening ceremony as its spokesman and host the opening ceremony with his friends Eric Tsang Chi Wai and Lawrence Ng Kai Wa. His wife Chik Mei Chun also showed her support. Before the interview, Sam Gor stated that he would only talk about the event and LINE WALKER (SI TOH HUNG JEH) and not "Occupy Central". LINE's success made the leads' salaries jump. He said that this was a more pleasing work for him recently. Aside from the ideal numbers, the word of mouth was also very important. "I haven't had friends telling me that they watched the ending in a long time. The most exciting was the Mainland record breaking hit rate. Later a celebration will take place."
Will LINE be made into a film? Sam Gor said that he awaited the company's arrangements. He even said that if the company did not make the film, he would. "I want to make the film version, I think the story can be continued. Changes to the team would be difficult." The film was rumored to be removing the "corrupted police" subject for the Mainland market. Sam Gor said that this was a creative problem, as the subject had to be made suitable for both Hong Kong and Mainland.
Chi Wai also praised LINE and said that he watched the ending with Sam Gor and others. He revealed that at the time everyone was tempted to make the film version. Would he be interested? Chi Wai said, "Hopefully! (Would you play a role?) I hope so, this type of films is suitable for me." Yet when discussing the "Occupy Central" movement, Chi Wai paused for over ten seconds. Was his heart aching? He looked worried as he said, "I think no one want to see Hong Kong turn into this, the student appeal is right but they seem to be unable to find a stage. When would this end? This is truly what everyone is the most worried about." He felt that now it has become clearer and clearer. Very few people there were students, some might be there to be a part of the crowd or to disrupt. Now they had to face all the people's complaints about their lives being affected, which was what everyone wanted to see the least and the moment that was the most flammable. Chi Wai pointed out that lately headmasters and respected people have spoken up and said that this was a very dangerous time. He suggested opening Tamar Park for students to make their appeal there. The people could support them after work and the roads would be freed up.

Eric Tsang may have a lot of friends and a very active social life – as seen at his recent 60th controversial birthday bash at Hong Kong Disneyland. But it was revealed that his sociable nature comes with a hefty price.
Jayne Stars recently reported that despite all the parties he attends and all the friends and acquaintances he made, the actor has not always been a strong family figure. Even Eric's eldest son, Derek Tsang admitted, "We have never been really close. His social life always came before his family."
Eric has been through two marriages; saw failure in the first one, and distance in the second.
His first marriage to Taiwanese actress Wang Mei Hua when he was only 19-years-old ended in divorce in three years when Eric spent more time with his friends and at work. Wang brought their eldest daughter, Bowie Tsang, back to Taiwan, while their younger daughter immigrated to Canada.
Bowie Tsang revealed that she moved to Taiwan with her grandparents when she was a toddler. The Mandopop singer would send hand-written letters to her father every year; but the preoccupied Eric did not have the time to reply, and ultimately sent Bowie two words, "Miss You."
Bowie admitted that she never truly experienced fatherly love, saying, "Now, when I want to see my father, I have to book a time."
Eric Tsang Chi Wai, Denise Ho Wan Si and others yesterday attended the Shaw invested Lunar New Year film I LOVE HONG KONG 2012 (HEI SEUNG GA HEI) press conference. Miriam Yeung Chin Wa recently has been accused of turning down this film due to pregnancy and arranged for Ah Si to take her place; Chi Wai yesterday stressed that did not happen as the production expected Ah Si to perform long ago.
Speaking of Chin Wa's supposed pregnancy, Chi Wai said, "I don't know! I just learned about it from the news, this time truly is joy upon joy!" He revealed that at first when he asked Chin Wa he planned some action scenes for her. Earlier she said that she could guest star three to four days, lately she said that she could not.
HONG KONG: More than a hundred Hong Kong celebrities will come together on 1 April at a Jackie Chan-organised charity concert in a bid to raise donations for the earthquake, tsunami and radiation relief efforts in Japan, according to Chinese media reports.
The concert titled "Love Without Borders", will see the appearance of Hong Kong veterans like Eric Tsang, Jackie Chan and Alan Tam as well as younger actors and singers like Bosco Wong and Myolie Wu.
In an effort to help contribute to the relief fund for the victims of Typhoon Morakot, Hong Kong celebrities like Andy Lau, Alan Tam, and Eric Tsang came together to organize the Artistes 88 Fund Raising Campaign. The charity programme took place two nights ago and was participated by over 300 Hong Kong artistes featuring the likes of the four Heavenly Kings, Andy Lau, Leon Lai, Aaron Kwok and Jacky Cheung, Gigi Leung, Cai Qin, Eason Chan, and Sammi Cheng.
The charity show began with the combined effort of all the stars as they sang to the tune of Simon and Garfunkel's "Bridge Over Troubled Waters" with self-penned lyrics. All celebrities present at the event donned white plain t-shirts that were imprinted with a map of Taiwan. In a bid to raise more money for the victims of this disaster, Alan Tam lent his vocals throughout the show, and even auctioned off his trophy from the Golden Horse Awards (for a year) and a white jade statue of the Bodhisattva Guan Yin, raising a total of S$200,000.
A total of S$10 million was raised from the successful event. Although the event was supposed to be a reunion stage for the four Heavenly Kings, attempts to get them up together remained unsuccessful as they each took turns to perform separately.
The main organizer of this fund raiser, Andy, appealed to his Taiwanese fans and instructed them to donate their travel funds to the relief instead of travelling to Hong Kong in September for his birthday. An equally bighearted Jacky expressed, "Although I cannot represent the entire of Hong Kong's citizens, however, I can say that most of us are concerned for Taiwan. When there is trouble, we will feel the pain too. If you feel that my presence in the disaster areas will be a great source of comfort, I will be there! I am only afraid of hindering the work of the rescue team."
Artistes 88 Fund Raising Campaign was held at AsiaWorld-Expo last night. There was no glamourous stage nor costumes, all 300 performers from Mainland China, Hong Kong and Taiwan all wore white.
There are no cheers or light sticks, everybody gathered together no to watch an exciting performance but to tell the troubled Taiwanese typhoon victims that they are not alone, all cheered “Taiwan you can do it!”.
To support the Taiwan rescue works, initial by the Hong Kong Performing Artiste Guild, 24 organization and media collaborate in this 4-hours Artistes 88 Fund Raising Campaign, using songs to urge for donations, up till 11:30pm, with adding to the money collected from internet and donation boxes, a total of $50900,000 was collected.
More than 100 singers sang the theme song ‘Tao Tao Qian Li Xin’ for the opening of the event. There are 13 comperes for the event which includes Nat Chan, Sandra Ng, Paw Hee Ching, Sally Wu, Sylvia Chang, Harlem Yu and other representatives from TV and radio stations. More than 300 artistes performed included Eric Tsang, Alan Tam, Andy Lau, Jacky Cheung, Aaron Kwok, Sammi Cheng, Miriam Yeung, Hacken Li, Leo Ku, Vivian Chow, David Tao, Cai Qin, Jam Hsiao and many others.
Last night, Andy was running around the stage throughout the night, he duet with Sammi Cheng in ‘He Cai’, then duet Hokkien song ‘Tian Xia Di Yi Deng’ with Richie Ren to encourage Taiwan, then duet ‘Peng You’ with Nat Chan, Alan Tam and Wynners.
The highlights of the event was the Four Heavenly Kings performed on the stage again, this is the first time that they appeared on stage at the same time since the 2007 Hong Kong handover 10 anniversary gala show.

Southern Taiwan experienced serious damages and flooding from the recent typhoon. Tonight Hong Kong Artists gather for the disaster relief. Last night, more than a hundred artists recorded a theme song for the Disaster Relief for promotional purposes. In order to respect the event, the organizer Eric Tsang created a strict dress code for the artists. Justin Lo put the dress code in the "test", but the kind-hearted Eric generously let him go for that.
"Artistes 88 Fund Raising Campaign" (8.8水災關愛行動) is held tonight (Monday 8/17/09). The other night nearly 150 local HK artists prepared for this event, as they arrived together in TVB City to record for the campaign's theme song "Rippling Thousand Mile Heart" (滔滔千里心). Artists who attended includes: Alan Tam, Eric Tsang, Chilam Cheung, Yumiko Cheng, and a bunch of TVB/ATV artists. Even Joey Yung who just finished with the "Summer Popl Live in HK" concert last night came on time at 12pm to record the song.
However, none of the Gold Label artistes came! Gold Label's spokesperson explained that because TVB notified them too late, the singers had to preform "Summer" and was unable to prepare in time. But tonight, they sent out 8 artistes to perform including Justin Lo. As the organizers prohibits artistes to wear hats, the spokesperson said that they will need to get a better understanding from TVB.
To respect the disaster relief event, as one of the organizers Eric Tsang expressed on stage that he hoped that all of the Artistes could dress the same, which poses an image of unity. But only Justin who did not follow the same style, yesterday Eric responded to this in another view and pardoned Justin. He said: "This is his personal signature style. I will respect that, I wouldn't want him to wear a wig to the event."
Michael Tse black face Last night before recording, Eric explained the dress code to the participating Artistes: "If you did not have a white shirt, you can request one from the department. If you have a low-cut shirt on, you must change it. I hope everyone takes off their sunglasses, don't wear hats or roll up your sleeves. Especially on Monday, blue jeans are preferred. We will give out white T-shirts, I hope you all do not break the rules." Because time was tight, many Artistes violated the dress code. Michael Tse who had a jacket on was told by Eric to take it off immediately, his face turned black as he flings off his jacket. Alan Tam arrived late and wore the wrong shirt, he wore a black outfit.

Law Ka Ying did not take part in good friend Eric Tsang's charity golf tournament at Mission Hills Golf Club. Instead he went to Chengdu alone as he was invited by friends to play golf. Although he has many movies scheduled for shooting, he revealed that his wife Liza Wang and himself aren't young anymore. Also his health isn't too good. Therefore they are starting to plan their retirement so that they can have more time to rest and go travelling together.

Rumored couple Amigo Chui and Natalie Tong appeared in "Super Trio Supreme" as guests. Eric Tsang teased them about their rumors and as well as calling her Mrs Chui, he also said they had the "husband-wife" look which made them very awkward. Afterwards, Natalie said she didn't mind being teased. Most important is that she can win prize money. She revealed that the prize money will help pay taxes.
Myolie Wu Signed with a Record Company to Become a Singer
Myolie Wu has signed with Neway Star Music to officially become a singer. Liza Wang and TVB executives Virginia Lok, Ho Lai Chuen, etc. appeared at today's event to support Myolie, while Eric Tsang, Andy Hui and Roger Kwok recorded clips to congratulate Myolie. However, rumoured boyfriend Bosco Wong haven't showed any signs of support; Myolie laughed: "I thought he would be in the recorded clips too, I'll tell him to buy my album when it releases. However, Bosco did send an SMS to congratulate me."
On the other hand, there are rumours saying that Neway originally wanted to sign Bernice Liu, but Bernice's conditions for signing a contract was too high. In addition, rumours to her being frozen by the company have led to the contract-signing falling through. Myolie replied that she doesn't know about the news/rumours.
Additional news from takungpao:
As for reports saying that Neway originally wanted to sign Bernice Liu but it fell through due to Bernice's conditions to sign being too high, Myolie expressed that she was not sure about the reports, but the recording company have already contacted her one year ago. Virginia Lok also confirmed that Neway did not contact Bernice, but Gold Label's manager have often wanted Bernice to collaborate with them again, but because of company changes in Gold Label, plans have been cancelled.
Reports also stated that Bernice is frozen by TVB due to her requests for high fees; Virginia Lok denied the claims: "Why freeze her? Bernice is the artiste who helps the company earn the most fees. I've already asked Bernice before, because she's currently busy with filming movies and series, she wants to put singing aside temporarily." Virginia also expressed that she is currently helping Bosco Wong and Kate Tsui sign a record deal to release albums.
Neway Star general manager Wong Jo Booi also denied having contacted Bernice, and expressed that he thought Myolie had great potential, so he had been contacting Myolie for the past year now.
Wang was criticized for her performance at the Olympic Gold Medalist Performance show. The netizens have not stopped attacking her on the internet with insults because they felt Liza disrespected the athletes. But Liza's mood had not been affected and even told the netizens to visit her website and find out more about her life and find out what's she like. If they do that then they will know she is not the type of person they think she is. (Note: Liza Wang raised her voice at one of the Olympic Gold Medalist's on the show due to having a slow response from them and telling them to hurry. The show was also over running.)
Liza Wang and Roger Kwok went to Taiwan today as tourism ambassadors. In the 70's Liza had visited Taiwan once, but due to political matters she was banned to visit Taiwan. Until 1998 when she filmed TV series "At the Threshold of an Era" she had the chance to film in Taiwan. She hadn’t been there for the last 10 years. (Asked whether she felt abit nervous about going there?) She smiles “I am not nervous". (What do you want to do there?) "To do a good job".
Many netizens have had a big impact on Liza's performance in the show and have been continuing to attack her by using insulting words and criticism. But this didn't affect Liza's mood. She Thanked Dodo Cheng and Nat Chan for their support and calmly says "There is nothing I can do, they can do what they like. Everyone is just very focused on watching the Olympics. The China athletes are very popular in Hong Kong. If I am cracking a joke its hard to control what others may think. I hope everyone has a fair view on the person and the incident. Why would I not respect the netizens? Perhaps they can visit my website and see what Liza Wang is all about. The more they know about me the more they will understand how I am as a person." (Will you crack less jokes now?) "Perhaps Eric Tsang will be better in cracking jokes, since it sounds more like a joke".
Roger Kwok will use his Vilain role to compete in winning the TV King Award
Also Bosco Wong supported Liza. "You don't have to encourage Liza, it's only a few people that have had problem with it. From what I know the show was running over time and it was a tense situation." Roger Kwok's new series (Last One Standing) will be released soon. This time Roger will play a villain role. It was also reported that Roger will be using this role to compete with Raymond Lam's role in (Moonlight Resonance) for the TV King award.

NEWS Video from oriental daily (Not wedding videos):
Tony Leung and Carina Lau have chosen to have their wedding in Bhutan which is a less well known country. Earlier Eric Tsang had arranged for Bhutan’s prince and the couple to have dinner together. There is a high chance that the royal member will attend their wedding.
The couple have chosen Bhutan as the destination for their wedding, as it is peaceful. The Bhuntan Prince will be helping them prepare for the wedding including the issuing of guests visa’s.
Last night, during an interview with TVB, Nat Chan suddenly exposed that Eric Tsang invited the Bhutan prince for dinner and Carina Lau was a guest of honour. The reporter phoned Eric to ask for more details. He admitted and said “Yes it was me who introduced them because after I knew they decided to get married in Bhutan, I immediately arranged for the Bhutan prince to have dinner with them. The prince often comes to Hong Kong and I have known him for many years. When the prince got married he also invited me to his wedding. “ Asked Eric whether the Bhutan prince will attend the wedding? He did not admit but did not deny “I do not want to say too much about their wedding, yet I shouldn’t say too much. “ It is reported that the Bhutan Prince will be attending their wedding.
Eric Tsang Too Busy cannot attend
The couple’s wedding will be held at Bhutan Uma Paro hotel. Eric says “This hotel belongs to the Bhutan prince. Too bad that I am too busy and cannot attend their wedding or help them prepare. “ ( By introducing them to Bhutan’s prince is their biggest gift) “Haha, yes that’s right.” But Eric stated he will no longer mention about their wedding and quickly hung up. Having the Bhutan prince help prepare for their wedding, no wonder the couple appeared to be more relaxed. They arrived in Thailand last night. After having a shark fins meal, they headed back to the hotel to rest. Afterwards, at 3am they got the next flight to Bhutan. Not only have they planned to have a low profile wedding but also avoiding the paparazzi’s as much as they can.
False Move to avoid the paparazzi’s
At 3am, the paparazzi’s were waiting outside the hotel. At this time the hotel arranged a large group of Security to guard the hotel. Even the local police were involved and guarded the place by forming a line. They put up ropes to bar the paparazzi’s from crossing the area. But actually all this was a false move, because after the security removed the ropes, the couple had already left the hotel by the back door.
The reporters rushed to the Thailand airport and caught the couple there. The couple who were not able to avoid the paparazzi’s accepted taking pictures and all the questions were handled by Carina. (Asked how the layout of the wedding would be? ) “That will be arranged by Cheung Suk Ping. Most important is that it's beautiful. “ (Why did you choose Bhutan? ) “A Buddhist country, Serious and peaceful. “ (Did you order the Wedding cake in Thailand?) “The cake was chosen by me, it’s very pretty.” (When you arrive at Bhutan, what will you prepare first?) “The furnishings.” (Is the wedding going to be held on the 21st of July?) “Almost”.
Earlier, Carina went to Roger Vivier’s store and brought a pair of high heel shoes, that will be worn on the wedding day. They will be sent by air to them in Bhutan. Roger Vivier was a French fashion designer who's best known creation was for the Stiletto heels.

Leon Lai and Olivia Cheng will be a few of the judges this year. The contestants will first score points based on first impressions with the judges. Leon expressed that he didn't read any negative news on the Miss Hong Kong contestants this year. His scoring will be based on a fresh first impression of the constestants. Personally, the criterion is based on (Confidence) and (Self control), if they are calm enough then they will win. "
(Which Contestant had left a good impression on you?) "It's the first time I have seen them on stage, I will not comment on that because if I say too much it will affect their performance. Eric said it was a difficult task to arrange 500 artists in the campaign . He wanted this to be fair and show unity and support for the campaign. Adam Cheng and Cheung Ming Mun had chose their own songs. Unfortunately, Hacken Lee was not happy about not able to perform his own song " Red Sun" which was given to a group of DJs to sing instead. Some reporters reported Andy Lau took a lot of credits from other appeals performances. Eric hoped that the media will stop to exaggerate minor things in the future. He thanked all the artists for their contributions to this event.
