Julian Cheong take shower in the dark

Celebrity couple, Julian Cheung (張智霖) and Anita Yuen (袁詠儀) went to Spain to film Mainland China reality show, There's You on this Road 2 (一路上有你2). Julian was assigned to become an 'Emperor (皇帝)' while Anita become his 'Maid (女僕)' for a day. They were changed into cosplay uniforms and looked very glamorous.

In the show, Anita needed to feed food and wine to Julian and help him block the sun and massage him. She also helped him to remove his clothes and apply honey perfumed oil when taking a shower, but Anita only cleaned his arms eventually.

As Julian is famous for doting on his wife, he disclosed Anita occupied his wardrobe space with her handbags and could not switch on lights when returning home at night so as to refrain from awaking her. He added he behaved like a 'thief' when going to the toilet and showered in the dark: "I take shower immediately and brush my teeth in the darkness. I resemble a blind person."

Anita Yuen discusses contract terms, does not want her husband as co-star

Anita Yuen discusses contract terms, does not want her husband as co-star

Yesterday Anita Yuen attended a charity event, and when speaking of the recent 'poaching' crisis, she has been viewed as a secret target. It turns out Anita does have interactions with TVB, but unfortunately there have not been any further plans. Anita said: "They come and discuss with me occasionally. I am currently freelance and still haven't decided on anything yet. Aside from the favorable price and attractive script, the co-stars are also very important, must be handsome guys. However, I don't want to co-star with Mr. Cheung (Chilam Cheung) because I already see him day and night. Unless the price really is extremely tempting, I won't do it because we collaborated once before and it did not go well. Even friends who I am too familiar with, it won't be too good either. Just like Jordan Chan, if we shoot argument scenes, we end up not getting along for real."

Anita hopes to create sparks with Felix Wong and does not fear of his 'explosive' personality. She said: "We had several opportunities to collaborate before, I just feel his explosive personality is actually just because he has expectations. I fear sloppy and not serious co-stars the most."

Anita Yuen has no intention of filming TVB’s period drama

Anita Yuen attended the “Sunday Kiss Competition” at Olympian City yesterday as a guest judge to help determine which parents and their children look the most alike. Speaking about her relationship with her own son Morton, Anita stated that Morton is closer to her husband Chilam [Julian] Cheung – for example, the day before yesterday, she asked her son to give her a hug, but he ignored her. Anita expressed that she didn’t understand why most children (especially boys) like to be close to their Dads more – she expressed that she hopes to have a daughter, as girls are usually closer to Mom. Anita laughed as she said this and said that she will try hard to in this area [having a girl] and if she is successful, she will announce it to everyone.

Anita indicated that she has been in talks to participate in a Mainland drama, however due to some issues with the terms, they were not able to reach an agreement. As for rumors that TVB producer Chong Wai Kin is planning on filming a sequel to 2009’s <> and will cast Anita and also Kenix Kwok as the main female leads, Anita bluntly stated that when she saw the report, she thought it was weird, as producer Chong had never contacted her. Afterwards, a TVB staff called her to clarify that the rumor is false and there is no such matter. Anita clarified: “From what I understand, the series is going to be a period drama – I don’t want to film period dramas because there is too much time involved with costume and makeup.” Anita admits that she likes to film modern series because of the flexibility in being able to accept other jobs at any time. She also expressed that currently she is not in any talks with TVB on filming series for them.

Julian Cheung promises wife Anita they will take wedding pictures at 60 years old

The final show of Chilam Cheung’s 2011 concert ended the day before yesterday at the HK Coliseum amidst an aura of family love, friendship, and tears.

During the final show, Chilam once again declared his love for his wife Anita Yuen onstage, but this time, he was prepared with tissues, just in case. In a moving speech directed towards his wife, Chilam talks about how he had a bit of a rebellious streak and didn’t want to let the Media run his life, so back when he and Anita married, they did so secretly, without much ceremony. In a shaky voice, Chilam stated: “We didn’t even take wedding photos! I definitely owe her – I promise that when we are 60 years old, we will take the wedding pictures together!” When Anita heard this, she was so touched that she was in tears. Then, Chilam started to sing the song《未響妻》for his wife, however he was so emotional and in tears that he couldn’t complete it and had to re-start all over again. Chilam then said: “Recently, there have been reports that my wife has been feeling ill…it is true – she has a thyroid gland ailment, yet every day, she still accompanies me jogging in preparation for my concert. Whether in sickness or health, facing life or death, I want to be with you forever!” This once again caused Anita to cry.

For finale night, Chilam invited his best friend Aaron Kwok onstage and together, they performed Aaron’s hit “Never Ending Love” and each showed off their dance moves. With regard to his buddy Aaron, Chilam states: “I met Aaron when I filmed my first movie and since then have known him for 15 years – during 13 of those years, I would see him more often than I’d see my wife!” Before coming on the stage, Aaron took the opportunity to play a joke on his buddy, telling him to get into his ‘dance’ pose, then telling him to be careful not to tear his pants – Chilam self-consciously checked his pants for a tear, causing the audience to burst out in laughter.

Chilam’s other musical guest was Cecilia Cheung, with whom he had collaborated on an MV years ago. The two sang the song “Thanks For Caring”, holding hands and hugging during the performance. It’s been years since Cecilia performed at the HK Coliseum, so she was visibly nervous and went off-key at certain parts. Chilam praised her performance, saying that she had already practiced over 100 times during rehearsal and did a good job.

During the encore, Chilam invited his rumored ex-girlfriend Maple Hui on stage to perform their classic duet “Modern Love Story”. Maple praised Chilam and said that even though they had not seen each other for 19 years, he is still as handsome now as he was 20 years ago. While they performed, Maple’s husband Jimmy Wong (Shu Kei) used his cellphone to take pictures, while Chilam’s wife Anita stood by the stage in support of her husband.

The highlight of the show however, was the guest of honor – Chilam’s 4 year old son Morton! After Chilam’s duet with Maple, a clip of Morton singing George Lam’s classic “Need You Every Minute” was suddenly played and Morton was brought onto the stage, carrying a Buzz Lightyear doll in his arms. Chilam took his son into his arms and father / son shared a sweet kiss on the lips. Then Chilam asked his son a few questions:

Chilam: “Are you sleepy?”
Morton: “Yes”
Chilam: “Do you know where you are?”
Morton: “At concert”
Chilam: “Do you miss Daddy?”
Morton: “…..”

Chilam pretended to be ‘mad’ and sent his son off stage, but making sure to tell the audience: “That’s my son! If you see him, don’t hit him!”

The concert ended with Chilam singing <<祝君好>> (the themesong to “Return of the Cuckoo”), once again becoming emotional and shedding tears as he went offstage.

Chilam Cheung Declares Love to Wife on Stage

Chilam Cheung's first individual concert was held this week. The first concert since he debut 20 years ago, Chilam invited good friends Grasshopper and Charlene Choi to the show as performing guests. His wife Anita Yuen and son Morton were also present to support.

April 1st is the day when pop star Leslie Cheung passed away and in remembrance of him, Chilam impersonated Leslie at the show. He sang Leslie's song and imitated his moves. During the performance, he even took off his shirt and showed off the six packs that he worked very hard on.

Anita Yuen & Chilam Cheung on "Forevermark Encordia": A "sincere feeling" love story

Have always kept their love in the most private way possible, Anita Yuen and Chilam Cheung recently put on the FOREVERMARK ENCORDIA brand wedding rings to express their "sincere feeling" love story. This is their first on-screen collaboration since their marriage. During filming, the couple would naturally fall back and hold hands, just like the story behind the shape of the Forevermark Encordia wedding ring series. Only true love can bring an everlasting love relationship. Fate is an interesting concept, bringing two unrelated people together, that could still communicate well with one another.

On the Forevermark Encordia website, there is currently a contest running for people to share their own love stories. The most heartwarming love story will have a chance to win valuable gifts including a photoshoot by a famous photographer reserved for them.

Joe Ma wins over co-star Anita Yuen

Source: Yahoo! News

For years he's been the lightning rod of media criticism due to the numerous links with his female co-stars. But these days, Joe Ma's hitherto tainted image has been scrubbed clean, and he's even gotten the seal of approval from the allegedly difficult Anita Yuen, his co-star in the drama Born Rich.

"I read that she's a very difficult person, but in fact she's very meticulous and cheerful. Our chemistry is very good and we seldom had NGs (no-good takes). Because of that we often wrapped up early!" chirped the Hong Kong actor.

Joe was in Singapore on Tuesday to promote the new serial, which features an ensemble cast including Gallen Lo, Ray Lui, Kenix Kwok and Nancy Sit. In it, he plays an all-too-perfect good guy, a bank executive whose romantic interest is Anita.

Previous reports showed that Joe's good feelings are two-way. Anita commented that despite initial apprehensions, she found her co-star to be easygoing and counts him as a personal friend. The two actors, who each have a son, even discussed parenthood.

He laughed, "What she's going through now, I've gone through before!"

The 41-year-old father has come a long way in rebuilding his reputation in the public eye. His image took one battering after another as rumours about his involvements with co-stars like Michelle Ye, Charmaine Sheh, Flora Chan, Kenix Kwok and Sonija Kwok, piled up.

In 2005, his wife Cheung Sau Lan even took their 10-year-old son and left for France after he was exposed for having an extramarital affair. Joe publicly addressed his mistake and flew to France to salvage the marriage.

These days, the Hong Kong press calls him "a renewed man", something he says he has to thank them for.

But the former policeman joked, "Actually my co-stars nowadays are people I've worked with before. So there's nothing more for [reporters] to talk about!"

The renewed family man says the secret to maintaining his marriage now is spending more time with his loved ones. On his son, "We've always been more like good friends than father-and-son. He even tells me what to do and what not to do!"

But comments that are meant to verbally abuse the actor, I wont care." She mentions that her husband after watching the scene also had a big reaction, "下!溯咋!" making her laugh.

Just finished filming "Born Rich", Anita Yuen was seen ditching her son Morton to go out with her husband Chilam Cheung to Central to sweep the stores. Not sure if its because of the work pressures, but Anita appeared to have some fat.

At 3:30pm, Anita, husband Chilam and a friend showed up on On Lan Street, where Reporters spotted them and took pictures. Chilam immediately waved at Reporters. Afterwards they went into a "Superman" fashion store and split up. Anita constantly selected clothing for her husband, when Chilam tried on the shirt and looked in the mirror, Anita also gave him advice. After 30 minutes, Chilam finally picked out the shirt and a pair of sneakers, Anita then paid for the items on the counter. After, the three of them left the store and left in their 7 person van.

Julian’s new album will include a duet with Myolie Wu. Myolie praised that Julian is a very good singer. She said, “With a singing voice that hasn’t been heard for so long time, I got so emotional, I almost cried listening to it. Anita Yuen and Cecilia Yip were at TVB City yesterday shooting for "Club Sparkle". The contestants of this year's Miss Hong Kong Pageant have been criticized as the worst batch to date. As a former Miss Hong Kong winner Anita said "I haven't been paying attention to the Miss Hong Kong Pageant since 10 years ago. I was crowned the title in 1990. Speaking of next year it will be 20 years ago. But I feel TVB can give the girls a good makeover and make them look prettier. I didn't stand out from the other girls in the year I participated but the most important thing is to have self confidence on the night of the finals".

Currently it is not clear who will be crowning this year's Miss Hong Kong winner as Edelweiss Cheung is still frozen by TVB. Anita said "Being crowned the winner Edelweiss should respect the history of Miss Hong Kong. She should have thought clearly about it when she was participating in the pageant. Loretta Chu Ling Ling should crown the new winner". Anita revealed that she is more interested in the Mr Hong Kong contest and hopes to be a judge with Christine Ng.
