HK Artistes 88 Fund Raising Campaign" strict dress code; Eric Tsang pardons Justin Lo's hat

Southern Taiwan experienced serious damages and flooding from the recent typhoon. Tonight Hong Kong Artists gather for the disaster relief. Last night, more than a hundred artists recorded a theme song for the Disaster Relief for promotional purposes. In order to respect the event, the organizer Eric Tsang created a strict dress code for the artists. Justin Lo put the dress code in the "test", but the kind-hearted Eric generously let him go for that.

"Artistes 88 Fund Raising Campaign" (8.8水災關愛行動) is held tonight (Monday 8/17/09). The other night nearly 150 local HK artists prepared for this event, as they arrived together in TVB City to record for the campaign's theme song "Rippling Thousand Mile Heart" (滔滔千里心). Artists who attended includes: Alan Tam, Eric Tsang, Chilam Cheung, Yumiko Cheng, and a bunch of TVB/ATV artists. Even Joey Yung who just finished with the "Summer Popl Live in HK" concert last night came on time at 12pm to record the song.

However, none of the Gold Label artistes came! Gold Label's spokesperson explained that because TVB notified them too late, the singers had to preform "Summer" and was unable to prepare in time. But tonight, they sent out 8 artistes to perform including Justin Lo. As the organizers prohibits artistes to wear hats, the spokesperson said that they will need to get a better understanding from TVB.

To respect the disaster relief event, as one of the organizers Eric Tsang expressed on stage that he hoped that all of the Artistes could dress the same, which poses an image of unity. But only Justin who did not follow the same style, yesterday Eric responded to this in another view and pardoned Justin. He said: "This is his personal signature style. I will respect that, I wouldn't want him to wear a wig to the event."

Michael Tse black face
Last night before recording, Eric explained the dress code to the participating Artistes: "If you did not have a white shirt, you can request one from the department. If you have a low-cut shirt on, you must change it. I hope everyone takes off their sunglasses, don't wear hats or roll up your sleeves. Especially on Monday, blue jeans are preferred. We will give out white T-shirts, I hope you all do not break the rules." Because time was tight, many Artistes violated the dress code. Michael Tse who had a jacket on was told by Eric to take it off immediately, his face turned black as he flings off his jacket. Alan Tam arrived late and wore the wrong shirt, he wore a black outfit.

Yumiko Cheng prefers a guy with a talent, not necessarily nice looking

Tuesday June 2, 2009 Hong Kong

Yumiko Cheng, Vincy and William Chan were rehearsing for "Extravaganza Towards the Community Chest" which will be aired on Saturday. The three of them will perform dressing up as students, singing and dancing together. The song describes Yumiko and Vincy staying away from "Four eyes" William because he is not a good looking guy.

Yumiko said she doesn't have any prejudice against "Four eyes". It is not true that she only likes good looking guy, in fact she likes guys with a talent. The reporter asked if one is skilled in make up is considered a talent as she is rumored to be dating a make up artist. Yumiko laughed "Sure, it is a talent." Speaking about Leo Ku who has joined EEG, Yumiko said she is very happy for him and hopes she will have a chance to work with him one day.

Vincy revealed that she is worried that she may expose herself as she was wearing school uniform and some dance routine require her to jump up. She decided to wear a short instead. Vincy also disclosed that she is fear of height. When she was lifted up during the dance routine, she was a bit frightened. During rehearsal, she kept holding on tight to the other dancers. She was so embarrassed because she nearly pulled one of the dancers down on the floor. Vincy has been busy organizing her concert which will be held later on the year. She disclosed that she is under a lot of pressure these days as she has been busy rehearsing for that.

William also expressed that he hopes to work with Leo too. He recalled last year when he was in the award presentation in "Jade Solid Gold", he was so touched as Leo Ku gave him so much encouragement backstage.

Traditional Festival Sees Twins Return

CRIENGLISH.com

The traditional Chinese Mid-Autumn Festival has provided pop duo Twins an opportunity for reunion.

Members of the Hong Kong girl group, Charlene Choi and Gillian Chung, made a rare public appearance together on Sunday in quake-hit Beichuan of Sichuan Province, celebrating the festival with locals.

They were joined by fellow singer Yumiko Cheng who, like Twins, was in Beichuan because of quake-benefit efforts made by their agent company Emperor Entertainment Group.

Gillian Chung, who was embroiled in a nude photo scandal in January, has been volunteering in Beichuan for about a week, Hong Kong media reported.

Twins went on almost complete hiatus after the scandal, and Charlene Choi had to attend promotional activities alone.

Ah Sa, Ah Gill reunites in Si Chuan to spend Mid-Autumn Festival with the locals

Since the scandal involving Gillian Chung at the beginning of the year, Twins’ image has been damaged. Unwillingly, Twins had to be disbanded temporarily. All their work were put on hold, leaving Ah Sa to face the media and her work alone. However, after over half a year, the issue has died down. Ah Gill is working hard towards her comeback. Earlier, Ah Gill was in Hangzhou as basketball ambassador. More recently, Ah Gill joined by Don Li and Yumiko made visits to Si Chuan. Last night, Ah Sa joined in for the volunteer work, letting the long hoped for Twins to reunite temporarily on Mid-Autumn Festival (人月兩團圓).

Ah Sa, who had to work alone for a long time, was very excited to finally reunite with partner, Ah Gill. The night before, she won an award for her solo song 《Make a Wish》 at the Jade Solid Gold 2nd Round. However, it wasn’t as happy as spending such a special holiday with Ah Gill.

Giving out Mooncakes and Lucky Bags
Ah Sa happily says: “Tomorrow I will reunite and spend the holiday with Ah Gill, together in Si Chuan to spend Mid-Autumn Festival with the locals. 10,000 mooncakes and lucky bags were prepared for the locals.” Will Twins songs be sang? She says: “We’ll have to see, because we aren’t doing this as a job.” It is known they will sing ‘Moon Represents My Heart’ 《月亮代表我的心》. You’re leaving Hong Kong for Mid-Autumn Festival, so that means you can’t spend it with rumored boyfriend, Ronald Cheng? She smilingly says: “I will be with Ah Gill.”

Visiting Northern Si Chuan, Leigu Town
This time, they will be in Si Chuan as representatives for EEG Charitable Funds to participate in “EEG’s Leigu Town Heart-to-Heart with Love Mid-Autumn Festival Celebration”. The day before, Ah Gill and Yumiko and Don have already arrived in Leigu Town to start their visits. It looks like her spirits are up and her confident smile has returned. They visited a grandma’s home, spending time to talk to her and give her massages. This grandma has lost all her family except one granddaughter to the earthquake. When they were leaving, the grandma gave them some peanuts as presents, but they didn’t want to take it (out of politeness), and unexpectedly, the grandma started to cry. Ah Gill and Yumiko took charge to distract the grandma while Don secretly returned the peanuts to the grandma’s home.

Dedication to the earthquake victims
In their trip, they met many of the earthquake victims; they were continuing to live strongly. They believe that what the victims need now is not money or presents, but love and care. Many of the villagers were very touched to see that they would travel all the way from Hong Kong to give up their free time and spend their holiday with them instead of with their own families. During their visits, they would play games with the kids and became photographers, taking photos with the villagers. Last night, Mid-Autumn Festival night, Ah Sa arrived in Si Chuan to reunite with Ah Gill, attending the celebration together and spending the holiday with the villagers hoping to share their love.

Ah Gill would love infinitely to rejoin Twins

Gillian Chung (Ah Gill) secretly flew to Leigu Town in Si Chuan yesterday to volunteer, to spend Mid-Autumn Festival with the children there. It is known that Charlene Choi (Ah Sa) would fly there to join her later today. And they would perform together as Twins for the children.

Yesterday, Ah Gill and Yumiko joined Medecins Sans Frontieres social workers to travel to Si Chuan to volunteer. To prevent attracting the attention of troublesome reporters, Ah Gill decided to stay by herself at De Yang Camp, so every morning at 8:30, she would have to drive to Leigu Town. The time to go back and forth takes about 4 hours.

Yesterday, Ah Gill and Yumiko became lacquer (painting) workers, painting mud columns blue. Seeing her paint and wipe away her sweat, she was so excited upon completion that she grabbed a group of friends to take pictures in front of it in remembrance.

Not picky with regards to eating
Ah Gill and Yumiko played ‘Eagle Catching Chicks’ (麻鷹捉雞仔) with the children. During that time, one of the kids fell and Ah Gill rushed over to help him up and helped him brush dirt of his knees. Ah Gill isn’t picky with food and would join the big team to eat street food every day.

It is known that Ah Sa will be flying to Si Chuan today to join Ah Gill in volunteering. And they will be singing for the kids. Since the photos scandal, Twins have not publicly sung together for over half a year.

Yumiko Cheng not worried about exposing herself again

Nikki: Doenst she look like Bernice in this picture?

Yumiko exposed herself yet again. Back in 2006 when she appeared in Tung Wah Charity Show, her pants got pulled off during an acrobatic performance. Last year when she was performing in Toronto, her dance movements caused her tube top to drop, exposing her entire breast. She didn't even notice that until sometime gave her flowers to hide her. The other night, she was attending a 英皇群星大匯演 show, she exposed herself yet again. During her performance, her left seam in her inner trouser has split, showing a bit of her flesh. Yumiko had bad luck of keep exposing herself during live show. On the night of the 英皇群星大匯演 show, she was wearing a grey top and a pair of tight trousers. She was singing and dancing. When she discovered her trousers had split, she did not panic. She just stood still and continued to sing. The split was about 2 inches, it was not an important part to expose. Therefore she did not take much notice of it but felt the split area a bit cool. After she had finished her performance, she went backstage to change into jeans. Yumiko came out to join the rest to sing together.

Nikki: did she not feel the breeze? she needs to stop with the "exposure" what happened to the conservative HK ways?

Reporter asked Yumiko about the incident, she replied "I was hoping you guys didn't notice it. I can't hide anything from you." It was Yumiko's 27th birthday yesterday. After the show, a party was organized by the company for her. Yumiko reckoned she was lucky that night, she need to gamble to try her luck. She made a birthday wish, including wishing everybody happiness and good health. She also hoped she gets good response on the sale of her record releasing in November. Last but not least, she hoped she gets her birthday party organized by the company every year.

Male Fan Knelt Down to Yumiko Cheng

Source : Oriental Daily
Translated By : Kingkongit27 @ asianuniverse

Yumiko Cheng will turn 27 tommorow. Her music record company had organised a bowling birthday party earlier to celebrate her birthday. During the party, a male fan suddenly knelt down on the floor and presented her a birthday cake. It seemed like he was declaring his love to her. This gesture had surprised and shocked Yumiko.

Also during the party Yumiko's fans had organised a series of party games to play with the birthday girl. In one of the games Yumiko had to put on a blindfold to play bowling. Even before playing Yumiko was already not confident in winning. The result was as she expected and none of her bowling balls hit any of the pins. It was fortunate that her teammates had chased back the points in the end making her team score the highest points.

Asked what gift she wanted most for her birthday? Yumiko expressed that she hopes she could spend every year of her Birthday with her fans. Yumiko's fans all cheered and applauded after she revealed her wish to them. At that very moment one of her male fans suddenely appeared and knelt infront of her to present a Birthday cake. As it was so sudden Yumiko got shocked and surprised. Yumiko said afterwards "Initially I thought that he was going to make propose his love to me because he had been supporting me for many years. I was only relieved after I knew he was only presenting me a birthday cake. The gesture really gave me a shock!"

Birthday wish "I hope that my mandarin album has good sales"

Yumiko was not disappointed at all after knowing that the male fan was not declarin his love to her. She said "My fans have all been treating me very well, most of them have supported me since I entered the industry. We are like a family" As for other Birthday wishes Yumiko hopes that everyone will be healthy and happy. She also hopes that her mandarin album will have good sales. Last but not least,Yumiko revealed that she will be spending her birthday in Macau.

Celebrities attended Grand Finale of a Model Competition

Yumiko, Kenny, William, Law Lam, Ho Lai-Chuen, Mandy Lieu, Takuya Suzuki and many more celebrities attended the Grand Finale of a Model Competition yesterday. Together Yumiko and Kenny poked fun of the scandal between William and Angelababy. Kenny jokingly said that he drove with Yumiko to feel the strength of the typhoon on that day. They felt hungry during the outing and it reminded them about the burger advertisement of Angelababy. They then followed the advertisement plot on a playground. William was shy but yet saying they played wooden horse. Meantime, he took the opportunity to ask Yumiko whether she lovingly hugged Kenny because that was in the advertisement but not sure it was real. Kenny reverted by telling William to ask Angelababy but William said he was not interested to know.

Yumiko plans to go back to school

After six years of being in the entertainment world, Yumiko Cheng revealed that she always wanted to do something in the psychology area. Now that she is older, she knows what she should do in regards to her education. Yumiko didn't even tell her company about going back to school yet.

Yumiko, Kenny Kwan, and William Chan performed together at a event called 《西九龍中心Dragon Icon模特兒(Model)總決賽2008》. Luo Lin (羅霖) and Mandy Lieu as well as others were also at this event. During the event, Yumiko mentioned again about her thoughts on going back to school. She hopes that when she tells her company that they will support her. She will be in school part-time but it will take six years. "When I finish school I'll be in my 30's!"

Luo Lin (羅霖) will immigrate next year

Joey Yung, Charlene Choi (Ah Sa) and Yumiko Cheng are highly favoured by Albert Yeung and were given Rolex 50th Anniversary special edition watches priced at more than $10,000 HK dollars. Charlene used her persuasive skills and was further awarded a pair of 10 Karat diamond earrings from Albert Yeung.

Yesterday Emperor Watch & Jewellery Limited celebrated their success on the market, they held a dinner banquet at Grand Hyatt Hong Kong hotel. Political and business professionals attended the event. Jackie Chan also appeared to congratulate them. EEG Stars turned up wearing expensive diamond jewellery. The scene was glamorous. Due to the success of the banquet, EEG's Chairman Albert Yeung was in a very good mood. He gave Rolex 50th Anniversary special edition "Milgauss 116400GV" watches to Joey Yung, Charlene Choi and Yumiko Cheng. Although the price was $ 48,600 HKD but others speculated the price was more than $10,000 HK dollars.

Ah Sa who loves brand name watches, to yesterday's sponsors of a pair of 10.18 karats diamond earrings, was worth $120,000HKD. Ah Sa also would want it for herself, asked if she would ask the Boss, who was in a good mood, to give her one as a gift? Or maybe ask someone to buy one for her? Results, because of Ah Sa's good persuasive skills she was able to successfully have the diamond earring presented to her.

Yumiko Cheng wants to be Kenny Kwan's Girlfriend

As for Yumiko's personality, sitting equally alongside "big sister" Joey Yung and Ah Sa as well as receiving a brand name watch, last night the Happy Yumiko accepted an interview with Kenny Kwan. She laughed at Kenny saying that he was a Stock God and that she wants to be added in to be in the list of Kenny's rumored girlfriends. As for Deep Ng, last night he was the only EEG Artist who wasn't heavily sponsored, he explained: "My company said that they'll lend me one, but I'm did not dare to wear it, afraid that when I'm having my meal, I'll be careless. (Have you ever gave a diamond ring to your girlfriend?) Either not give it, or when I give it, it has to be sharp. I want the first ring I give to be the wedding ring, has a big meaning to it."

Yumiko Cheng experienced blackout at home a few days ago

Yumiko Cheng went to record for Commerical Radio Hong Kong yesterday, during the interaction with the DJ she disclosed that she had experienced blackout in her home recently. During the period of blackout, Yumiko tried to fix and repair the power box herself but after messing around with the power box for sometime, Yumiko still couldn't get the power back. The DJ then asked if she had called for her rumoured cosmetician boyfriend Andy for help. Yumiko said "As I couldn't get the power back by myself, I had called for the electrician to my home to repair it."
(Wow,is Andy your repairman?) Yumiko laughs and says "No, he is not an repairman, but I treat him as my repairman!"

Wants a boyfriend that is good at repairing things
Yumiko also expressed that she hopes that her boyfriend is good at household maintenence, however she says that its a pity that men who know how to repair and maintain the house are rare now. Charlene Choi Responds to the Twins Disbanding Rumors

Recently, there have been rampant rumors concerning the disbanding of Twins when it was revealed that Gillian Chung had departed for Hollywood. Charlene Choi appeared at an event yesterday at the Shatin Horsetrack with Jackie Chan, Joey Yung, Nicholas Tse, Yumiko Cheng, Raymond Lam among others, and responded to the rumors. Once again, Charlene strongly denied the disbanding rumors and firmly stated that Twins will collaborate again in the future, "From the second day that Twins was established, there have already been rumors of us splitting, I am already used to them."

Charlene revealed that she found out about the recent disbanding rumors from the newspapers. She emotionally said, "Gillian and Ah Sa used 7 years of time to establish Twins. It was created with little sleep, no rest, and hard work. At this time, we are thinking the same thing, it is not the best time to appear together. As a result, we are each independently learning and gaining experience. There will be a day when we will appear together again. While that day is not today or tomorrow, at this time, we are silently accepting jobs, because every job is an opportunity. I do not wish to hear about the disbanding rumors again."

Joey dances. William: "I'm out of breath"

EEG senior artist Joey Yung attended the orphanage fund raising event,《 星 光 熠 熠 耀 保 良 》yesterday along with artists such as Yumiko Cheng, Vincy Chan and William Chan. Other artists included Emme Wong and Korean star Nara Jang. There was hot music and dancing during the event with Joey "maxing out" her skills with William. During the opening ceremony, William expressed that he was quite embarrassed during practice as one of the dancing moves involved Joey completely lying on him.

"I am very privileged to have a chance in dancing with Joey, but during those 8 minutes I completely ran out of breath!!! Joey just kept on dancing faster and faster, she is so good, so good! ( 好 勁 !).

(Were there any intimate dancing moves?)
"Well since it was dancing, there surely has to be some body contact, but one move included her competely lying on me!"

(So was it embarrasing?)
"Well yes it was actually! But since Joey didn't mind I should really mind either."

When asking Yumiko about the overall event, she said, "I haven't been this exhausting for ages, and I even had a lack of sleep yesterday. I was mimicing my moves till 7 this morning! There was originally a move that involved me repeatedly standing up and lying down, but after a day my feet was totally aching all over and gave up in the end."

Yumiko's dress was also designed to be very sexy, specially tailored just for her. She also commented that Vincy's dancing was good for a newcomer, and could go on improving.

Jason Chan Jokes that Yumiko Cheng is Old

Yumiko Cheng, Ken Hung, Jason Chan, Sherman Chung, Pakho Chau and Chelsea Tong attended the premiere for their movie “Love Is Everywhere”( 愛情萬歲 ) last night. Yumiko was arranged to talk first about her experiences in filming this movie. This led Jason Chan to joke that she was the oldest so had to talk first. The reporter asked Yumiko whether she mind’s him teasing her? She replied “I’m used to it. He is a funny guy and likes to make a fun atmosphere. We are actually good friends. While filming I got to know him well. I am a nice person therefore will not tease him of being short”.

Ken Hung helps Yumiko wash her feet
Ken Hung expressed that he not only had a kissing scene with Yumiko in the movie but also had to wash her feet. He complimented that she had a pair of soft and beautiful shaped feet, no bad odours just a fresh soapy smell. Yumiko immediately laughed that she didn’t wash her feet especially for filming as she has a bath everyday.

Sherman Chung fell over and hides her sexiness
The reporter asked Sherman whether she asked her rumoured boyfriend Steven Cheung (SunBoyz) personally to attend and support her. She immediately felt akward and explained that it was company arrangements. Also that he came to support everyone.
Asked if she would ask Steven for feedback afterwards? She replied that she will ask all the experienced actors for feedback of her performance.
The reporter then focused on her outfit as to why she was covered up? “Originally I was going to show part of my legs but earlier I fell over in the street and injured my foot. That is why I am wearing stockings.

Yumiko Cheng Trusts Stephen Huynh to Be a Gentleman

Yumiko Cheng Hei Yee performed a Latin dance segment with Stephen Huynh Cheung Hing and Benjamin Yuen Wai Ho in a TVB charity program 《博愛歡樂傳萬家》. The Latin dance will be performed in a pool of water onstage. During the evening rehearsal prior to the show, Yumiko wore a swimsuit beneath her revealing dance costume.

Did Yumiko have any fears due to prior over-exposure incidents? "I have not thought about it. I will only concentrate on properly executing the dance moves. To test the degree of transparency when the fabric becomes wet, I also wore a swimsuit underneath my dance costume I will make adequate precautions to prevent over-exposure."

Since Latin dancing will involve a high amount of bodily contact with dance partner, Stephen Huynh, did Yumiko discuss physical boundaries prior to the collaboration? "No, Stephen is a gentleman. I trust him as my dance partner."

Did Yumiko succumb to Stephen's electric eyes? "French men naturally have flirtatious eyes. However, I will bravely face them!"

Suspected erotic pictures of Edison Chan, Gillian Chung, Bobo Chan and Cecilia Cheung are circulating on the internet. The events are becoming more heated. There are debates about authenticity, and manipulation of the pictures from the start. Yesterday, the debate’s topic changed. Traditional family views like Virginia Lok who reminded people to not be blinded by love or foolish (headstrong) because it will be too late to regret it in the future. Modern mom, Prudence Lau said that you need to focus in the midst of passion. If a partner takes out a camera, she will kick them out.

Virginia Lok: It doesn’t matter if you are female or male artistes, you need to know how to protect yourself. You need to know how to choose you friends when you are older. Most importantly, you need to know when to say no! It is alright for younger people to relax so you need to have self-control. Artistes under her management will “submit a report” to her if there is a problem. It is unfortunate if their image or career is damaged. She said: “It’s bad to use your camera phone to frivolously take pictures or go onto the internet. Don’t be blinded by love. Don’t think that you can keep your partner by your side if you do as they want. Do not be foolish or else you may regret it in the future.”

Stephen Chan: The workers in the artistes’ department will give a lot of advice to female artistes. We will take legal action if our company’s female artistes are involved in the nude picture scandals. I did not view those pictures and I don’t believe that it is real. I hope that people that have viewed the pictures would not transfer/send it to other people. Do not help this harmful trend out.

Prudence Lau: I am an open-minded mom. I have no problem talking about love and sex but I have no interest in taking intimate pictures. When you are “doing it”, you need to focus. Who would want to take out their camera to take pictures? If I found out that my partner took out a camera, I would kick him out. There are some abnormal people out there. Even though I am open-minded but I won’t take intimate pictures. I don’t know if the nude pictures that are rocking the entertainment circle are real or not. But I feel bad for the people involved in the scandal.

Carl Ng: I feel that the people who were photographed and had the pictures taken and made public are foolish. The pictures are too obvious and I hope the pictures are fakes. Or else, Hong Kong will have its’ own version of Paris Hilton. I am not interested (in taking intimate pictures) because I am impatient. In that situation, I would not have time to set up the camera to take the pictures.

Bernice Liu: Would you take pictures when you and your boyfriend are in the midst of passion? It’s my privacy. There is no need to publicly talk about it. I believe that it is unimportant if the photos are fakes. This will have a negative affect on the younger generation so this trend needs to be stop.

Linda Chung: This will never happen to me because I won’t let my boyfriend take those pictures. If he suggests it, I would turn around and leave. I am careful when I take pictures with others so people won’t have anything bad to say.

Sonija Kwok: The nude photo scandal happened on the same day as 羅苼 was drunk and disorderly. I was paying attention to that news so I didn’t read about the nude photo scandal. I only have pictures of my dogs and cats on my phone. I won’t have pictures of guys. This way, I won’t be in trouble if I lost the phone.

Yumiko Cheng believed from the start that pictures, containing a person who looks like Gillian, are fakes. Yesterday, reporters again asked if she thought the pictures were real or fake. Yumiko did not comment. The reporter asked if the artistes should show more restraint. She again did not answer. Yumiko only said that she hopes this scandal/trend will die down. She fully supports her friends. Gillian may look fragile on the outside but she is a very strong person on the inside. But Yumiko did not contact Gillian because she wants Gillian to be able to have some peace and quiet.

Jay Chou: I know that there is a “Nude picture” scandal happening in Hong Kong. It’s horrific. I can’t believe that there is such a hacker. It is very unfair to artistes. You can’t say with confidence that these pictures were manipulated. So it is very worrisome for artistes. I didn’t call Edison because I don’t want to affect him. I think a lot of people have called him already. I feel very stunned about all that happened.

Yesterday Steven Ma, Yumiko Cheng and Wayne Lai were promoting new TVB series
“The Gentle Crackdown 2”. Yumiko was the target for the antics and jokes.
She used a brush to play 「有口難言」 “Can’t Say a Word” and used a wood staff to protect the basketball basket.

She was almost hit by the prop ball. Steven denied the events afterward. He said: “Of course not. Yumiko’s character is illiterate and needs to recreates/redo it.
She becomes out of control as you fool around more.

We became friends after filming the series.
I would go visit her when she goes on JSG.” Are you afraid Yumiko would drag down the ratings?
He said: “I am confident about her. Her performance is surprising.
The audience would get a fresh feeling.”

Yumiko didn’t feel like she was the target. She praised Wayne for being a good teacher and taught her how to act. Steven was a good partner also. She responded to questions about the ratings and said: “I don’t know what the ratings would be. I believe I won’t drag Steven down.”
