Winning three awards at the 2011 TVB Anniversary, TV King Kevin Cheng (鄭嘉穎) excitedly shared the victory with fifty fans outside TVB City last night. Fans prepared a cake and a “fourth award” for Kevin, who popped two bottles of champagne in excitement.

After the Anniversary Awards, Kevin posed for some photos for the TVB magazine and headed to Wan Chai at 2 AM, attending the private celebration party organized by Myolie Wu (胡杏兒). In attendance were also Virginia Lok (樂易玲), Sharon Chan (陳敏之), Nancy Wu (胡定欣), Koni Lui (呂慧儀), Sire Ma (馬賽), Mandy Wong (黃智雯), Johnson Li (李思捷) and numerous other celebrities. Kevin partied until 4:30 AM and staggered away drunk, requiring the support of Ben Wong (黃智賢) when they stepped out.

Yesterday afternoon, Kevin resumed filming Ghetto Justice 2 <怒火街頭II>. His face appeared tired and he obviously had a hangover from last night. “Right now, I feel a bit wing wing!”

In an interview with Eileen Cha (查小欣), Kevin discussed his fe elings upon receiving three awards at the 2011 TVB Anniversary Awards. “Last night, I was very surprised. I felt it was okay in receiving the My Favorite Male Character Award and it was a pleasant surprise to receive the Best Actor Award. When the results for Best Actor were announced, my heart was beating very quickly. My brain blanked out when I received the Best Actor Award, which is why my acceptance speech was a bit disorganized.

“Michael Tse (謝天華) also possessed a high chance in winning Best Actor, as his performance was very good. There was also a chance that Wayne Lai (黎耀祥) would win the award for the third time. As a result, my mood was quite unsteady.” Kevin considered that he might lose. Wearing a bright red suit at the awards ceremony, Kevin joked, “If I were to lose, I should not lose in the wardrobe department!”

In 2006, Kevin Cheng won the TVB Best Actor Award for his performance in Under the Canopy of Love <天幕下的戀人>, sparking extreme controversy. This year, Kevin finally shone in his [well-deserved win]. Kevin said, “After receiving the award in 2006, I was attacked. At the time, I vowed that if I were to receive another award, it is necessary to receive the majority consensus. Five years later, I finally accomplished this goal!” Indicating that there were many years left in his TVB contract, Kevin denied extending his contract for the awards.
