Various celebrities have recently opted for the subway as their mean of transportation due to the road closures and diversions caused by the demonstration in Hong Kong.

Aside from Julian Cheung and wife Anita Yuen, as well as singer Alex To, who all uploaded selfies of themselves in the subway to show their train experience, China News reported that Hong Kong's Heavenly King Aaron Kwok also did the same recently.

Wearing a mask and a cap to avoid recognition from other passengers, Aaron uploaded a photo of himself standing inside a subway train on Weibo on 8 October, and wrote, "This is the first time I saw barricades across the Connaught Road. There were no taxis and my driver was stuck in the traffic. I am going to take the subway."

Admitting that he has not taken the subway for ten years, Aaron was in awe with how fast the trains are nowadays.
