Have former lovers Kevin Cheng and Charmaine Sheh reconciled?

Kevin was rumoured to have broken up with his Chinese model girlfriend two months ago, and had reconciled with Charmaine.

The Hong Kong actress reportedly visited Kevin at his home whenever she was free.

Charmaine and Kevin fell in love with each other after working on TVB drama Forensics Heroes II in 2008. Then, netizens dubbed Kevin a "jerk" because he had dumped Nikki Chow -- his then-girlfriend of five years -- for Charmaine.

Since then, the actor had had a series of bad luck.

In 2009, Kevin and Charmaine were spotted on a date. However, as the actor was unwilling to admit to their relationship, he supposedly left Charmaine in the car. Various other reasons contributed to the end of the couple's relationship including reports that Charmaine was also earning more than Kevin, having invested in real estate.

The couple, however, remained friends after their split, as there wasn't a third party involved.It was rumoured that the pair had gotten closer recently, even flirting on their microblogs.



Charmaine was said to have given Kevin a birthday present.

It is believed that Kevin, whose career is on the rise, told his friends that he treasured the reconciliation with Charmaine and hoped that their relationship will last. The actor had even promised to buy his girlfriend an apartment.

Commenting on the reconciliation rumour yesterday, Kevin said that he and Charmaine are currently friends. When that told the public hoped that they would get back together, the actor laughed and said, "I'll suggest it to her. Just kidding, but it's naught now."

After being crowned Best Actor at the recent TVB Anniversary Awards, Kevin's current asking price had risen to a whopping HK$250,000 (S$42,000) per episode.
