Ekin Cheng and Karena Lam went to Japan to attend the "Toyko International Film Festival". They have worked together on 4 occasions already. They were in the "Venus Film Festival" previously and this time they went to Japan for their film " Claustrophobia". They told reporters next time when they get invited to attend any film festival, they are hoping it would be for the Oscar.
Ekin and his manager Sandy Lam met Nansun Shi (Tsui Hark's ex wife) in Tokyo. Nansun said Ekin's acting has improved. She asked those Japanese Directors to guess his actual age. Ekin would get 10,000 Yen for every wrong age they guessed. Someone thought he is 27 and another one guessed he is 32. Ekin is in fact 41 years old. Although he had won 40,000 Yen he only took 10,000 Yen instead and he used the money to treat everybody for a meal. He reckoned they guessed him 14 years younger than his actual age, that was his best present.
