Eason Chan's Harmonica Donation
Eason attended the Hong Kong Children Choir fund raising event for Sichuan earthquake yesterday . His assistant took out a harmonica for auction. He recognized that was the harmonica his wife gave him as a Christmas present some years ago. It was even engraved as Merry Christmas . He apologized that he would keep that one but swap with another harmonica. He has plenty at home. He was sorry his assistant made that mistake.
He said he had chosed to donate harmonica because it's more meaningful than t-shirt or posters. Once Lau Ka Cheung said that if children appreciates music, they can't be that bad. He hopes the parents would be generous to donate more money for the event.
When Eason was asked about the comments by Sharon Stone, he said " I don't care what people say about it, I am more concerned with raising more money to help the victims to rebuild their homeland. We can all pray for the victims, not necessarily donating money only. Some artists were criticized for not donating more money, Eason replied " you can't compare artists . It's just gossips."
