Yesterday the cast for the new movie (同 門 ) attended an wrap dinner. The cast include Ada Choi, Shawn Yue, Chapman To, Elanne Kong, Paul Wong and Director Yau Lai Tau. They toast with tea instead of red wine and hope there are good ticket sales. In the movie Ada Choi play’s the role of a Big Sister Triad Leader. She had to face 3 different challenges to play this role.

Most of her scenes will involve her speaking on an cell phone but one of the challenges is that she has to make different expressions while talking on the phone. She claims this may have sounded easy at first, but acting is different and challenging. The second challenge she had to face is smoking. In the movie she constantly smokes, but in real life she has never attempted or tried to smoke before. She had to ask colleagues to teach her how to smoke but claims she had wasted 6 or 7 cigarettes for one scene. The Director joked that she has potential portraying a bad woman because her acting was very focused and outstanding.
Her third challenge was that she had to constantly talk foul language. She states that she would burst out laughing every time she swore.

Ada’s contract with her Management will expire during late June. She explains that the person who manages her work has health concerns, therefore would like to take some time off. Therefore, Ada will manage and find jobs herself.
