Olympics Torch Bearer

Being the 7th Olympics torch bearer, Kelly was arranged to run at the route along Nathan Road in Tsim Sha Tsui. The run was completed smoothly and there was no incident of anybody trying to snatch the torch. However, after she had finished the run and wanted to take a picture with her fans while holding the torch, some one in the crowd wanted to snatch it including the box that was supposed to hold it! Kelly was extremely surprised at that time. She later laughed that the torch is a treasure. After the morning run, she immediately went to Shatin for the torch bearer celebration event held in the afternoon. On seeing her torch, many performing organisations and students rushed up to her to have a feel of the torch. Kelly of course obliged to let them hold on to it and take photographs as souvenir.

When speaking of her feelings for the event, she was very excited and said that she felt high and was anxious while waiting for the torch to be handed to her. Seeing the crowd cheering and waving the national flag made her even more excited. Initially, Kelly started walking after taking the torch. She had explained that the officials had told her not to run immediately so as to let the media have a chance to take photographs. They also reminded her to wave constantly. She laughed that she had rehearsed on her running so that she will look good but when it was the actual run, she had forgot all about it.

She pointed that she had not seen any protestants and she was not worried to encounter any of them as she was well protected. She added that her family, colleagues and fans had came as early as 6 in the morning to support her. However, her boyfriend was not able to come as he had to go to work. He did call her after that to ask her about the run. When asked if she felt tired to pass the torch? She replied that it was not that difficult. When told that Leo Ku had changed hands carrying the torch for several times during the run, Kelly covered her mouth and laughed that the route was very short and he could have done so to have more poses. Kelly was also very obedient to follow instructions to have her shirt tucked in. However, Andy Lau and Leo Ku did not do so. She gave a frown and said that she did not know that it was allowed. She had already tucked her shirt and she could not pull it out as it was already creased.

Kelly had decided to bring the torch back home and hold a party and she will light it up for them to see. After that, she will placed it on the book shelf. When asked if the officials had restricted her on the usage of the torch. She laughed that there are no restrictions and she is free to do whatever with it.

擔 任 第 七 棒 火 炬 手 的 陳 慧 琳 於 尖 沙 咀 彌 敦 道 一 段 傳 送 聖 火 ， 過 程 相 當 順 利 ， 亦 未 有 發 生 示 威 者 搶 聖 火 事 件 。 但 想 不 到 Kelly 傳 送 完 畢 後 ， 準 備 拿 出 火 炬 與 fans 合 照 時 ， 卻 有 途 人 大 膽 施 展 「 祿 山 之 爪 」 ， 欲 搶 走 其 火 炬 ， 甚 至 連 裝 火 炬 的 盒 也 不 放 過 。 事 後 ， Kelly 笑 說 ： 「 原 來 這 個 （ 火 炬 ） 是 寶 嚟 ? ！ 」 Kelly 早 上 傳 送 聖 火 後 ， 下 午 出 席 於 沙 田 馬 場 舉 行 的 《 萬 眾 歡 騰 傳 聖 火 》 活 動 ， 手 持 火 炬 的 Kelly 下 午 二 時 多 到 達 ， 不 少 表 演 團 體 及 中 小 學 生 見 到 她 ， 立 即 上 前 爭 相 摸 她 的 火 炬 ， Kelly 亦 有 讓 小 學 生 手 持 火 炬 拍 照 留 念 。

談 及 擔 任 火 炬 手 的 感 受 ， Kelly 仍 相 當 興 奮 地 說 ： 「 感 覺 好 high ， 等 接 聖 火 時 ， 真 是 好 緊 張 ， 比 開 演 唱 會 更 緊 張 ， 見 到 沿 途 的 市 民 揮 動 國 旗 在 歡 呼 ， 令 我 更 加 興 奮 。 」 Kelly 最 初 接 到 聖 火 時 是 步 行 的 ， 她 解 釋 是 大 會 叫 她 不 要 一 接 到 就 跑 ， 記 得 讓 傳 媒 拍 照 ， 也 提 她 不 時 要 揮 手 。 她 笑 言 之 前 也 有 練 習 過 怎 樣 可 以 跑 得 有 型 些 ， 但 當 到 真 正 傳 聖 火 的 時 候 ， 什 麼 也 忘 記 了 。

笑基仔轉手擺甫士

Kelly 指 沿 途 未 見 到 有 示 威 者 ， 加 上 身 邊 有 很 多 藍 衣 人 保 護 ， 她 不 會 擔 心 。 她 又 指 家 人 、 同 事 及 歌 迷 ， 昨 早 六 時 便 到 達 尖 沙 咀 守 候 ， 但 男 友 因 為 要 返 工 ， 未 有 到 場 。 但 之 後 都 有 致 電 給 她 問 跑 了 沒 有 ？ 她 便 說 ： 「 跑 完 啦 。 」 問 到 她 覺 得 傳 聖 火 疲 倦 嗎 ？ 她 謂 沒 想 像 中 那 麼 ? 。 記 者 指 古 巨 基 要 轉 手 拿 火 炬 ， 她 聞 言 立 即 掩 嘴 笑 說 ： 「 吓 ！ 路 程 好 短 咋 喎 ， 可 能 佢 想 轉 多 點 甫 士 。 」 而 她 昨 日 亦 十 分 聽 話 ， 將 運 動 衫 腳 「 攝 」 入 褲 頭 ， 但 劉 德 華 與 古 巨 基 都 沒 這 樣 做 。 Kelly 扁 扁 嘴 說 ： 「 係 啦 ， 點 知 啫 ， 去 到 已 經 『 攝 』 了 ， 件 衫 又 皺 了 ， 都 不 可 以 拿 出 來 。 」

拿火炬回家開派對

不 過 ， Kelly 表 示 傳 聖 火 後 ， 她 乘 車 返 回 文 化 中 心 ， 下 車 後 見 到 歌 迷 ， 便 想 拿 出 火 炬 與 歌 迷 合 照 ， 當 時 順 勢 將 裝 火 炬 的 紙 盒 遞 給 助 手 ， 此 時 卻 有 一 途 人 一 手 拿 走 了 ， 助 手 便 立 即 上 前 追 ， 並 問 該 途 人 拿 回 ， 幸 好 對 方 都 有 交 還 給 她 。 但 她 轉 頭 再 望 自 己 手 上 的 火 炬 ， 又 有 另 一 途 人 用 手 抓 住 火 炬 頂 部 ， 好 像 想 搶 走 般 。 Kelly 指 當 時 因 為 太 亂 ， 她 都 看 不 清 對 方 是 男 是 女 。 而 fans 都 立 即 叫 她 走 ， 她 笑 說 ： 「 原 來 這 個 是 寶 ， 火 炬 不 可 以 隨 便 拿 出 來 。 」 Kelly 打 算 拿 火 炬 回 家 後 舉 行 派 對 ， 再 將 火 炬 燃 點 ， 邀 朋 友 及 家 人 一 齊 來 欣 賞 。 之 後 再 將 火 炬 插 在 書 架 上 ， 問 到 她 大 會 有 規 限 她 火 炬 的 用 途 嗎 ？ 她 笑 言 沒 有 ， 她 喜 歡 怎 樣 也 可 以 。
