The cast of TVB’s new Series “The Siver Chamber of Sorrows” held an promotional event yesterday. Nancy Sit, Ng Wai Kwok, Shirley Yeung, Winnie Yeung etc appeared in their costumes. The cast played games with the audience such as runner pulled rickshaw’s (human powered vehicles) to grab money.

Nancy Sit Changes her image
It has already been 2 or 3 years since Nancy Sit had been in a TV series. Previously she had played funny comedy roles but in this series her role will be quite Evil. This series will broadcast after “The Journey of Life”. Although “D.I.E” had extremely high ratings Nancy is very confident that this series will be successful. She considers that there will be ratings of 30 points. But of course she doesn’t want to exaggerate.

Nancy Sit expressed that she really enjoyed working with the younger actors and they all shared tips on how to act better in the scenes. The storyline is about how women in the past had no human rights, legal authority taken away and restrictions of participation in public life. Nancy remembers when she had her first child which was her daughter. Her mother in law said “You need to try again”. That statement made Nancy feel very bitter. But when she had her second child her son her mother in law was very happy. Nancy jokes that she finally has an opportunity to act as a mother in law.

Shirley Yeung plays a servant and will be coupled up with Jack Wu in this series. She expresses that this will be her 4th time being a couple with Jack. Asked if she had any real spark's with Jack since working together for so long? Shirley laughs “We are both very professional and have good communication but there are no sparks. Asked if she’s only dedicated to her boyfriend? Shirley replies with a firm Yes and then akwardly changes subjects. Shirley’s most memorable moment was when she was filming a scene with Jack. The scene was about Jack holding a frog to scare her. In real life Shirley is afraid of frogs so she actually wanted to cry while filming.
