Source: Oriental Daily
Yesterday at 8am, Tavia was filming Salt Traders and felt very dizzy and uncomfortable suddenly. The crew sent her to the hospital immediately for treatment. The doctor told her that it is due to vertigo. Tavia went back home to rest immediately after and it was only 8pm that night that she went back to work.
Tavia is one of TVB's promoted Fa dans and ever since she started out, she has accepted one series after another series and had never took a break. Recently, she is filming Salt Traders and Heart of Greed 2. To make time for both, she will film all her parts in Salt Traders first then film HOG2. But it is very unexpected that she fell sick.
Due to the same reasons of filming non-stop, Flora Chan also had vertigo in her body and had to return to America for a period of time before she can film. And this time, Tavia took a rest for three days during Lunar Chinese New Year and had to film water scenes in the cold weather. it was so cold that she trembled and contracted a flu after that. Moreover, due to filming, she doesnt have enough sleep and thus unable recover fully.
Steven Ma was filming with Tavia yesterday and said when they started working, he had already notice Tavia's sickly and pale face. "After she went in the water, she never recovered from her flu and due to the change in weather and having to film, her body cant take it anymore. Many body have fallen sick."
The producer, Li Tian Sheng pointed out that filming will end after a few days. Now everything will have to be shifted till Tavia's condition is better. If Tavia cant take it, we will not force her to film"
Tavia went back to work yesterday at 8pm. She revealed that she has vertigo all along. "dizzy spells and vomiting is due to inadequate sleep. Fortunately, it is not serious after treatment."
